The town of Pigeon Forge shines during its Winterfest season, operating from November 6, 2017 through February 28, 2018. Amidst millions of twinkling lights, the spirit of the season shines strong. Here a few ways to enjoy the beauty of the Christmas season:
City of Pigeon Forge Trolley Tours
For the 2017 season, the City of Pigeon Forge will offer complimentary trolley tours on November 7, 2017, the night of the Winterfest kick-off event. The trolley rides are completely free and provide guests a view of the town’s epic light displays! This Winterfest staple is the perfect way to see the lights, beat the traffic, and make lifelong holiday memories together.
Where: The Trolley Station at Patriot Park at stoplight #7.

Winterfest Driving Tours
If you’d rather be in the driver’s seat, go on a Winterfest Driving Tour. You may pick up your FREE Driving Tour of Lights brochure and map at our Pigeon Forge Welcome Centers or at the Pigeon Forge Trolley Office. You can also download the Driving Tour of Lights brochure and map here.
The Winterfest Driving Tour of Lights runs from November 7, 2017 to February 28, 2018. From fairy tale characters lighting up the Pigeon Forge Parkway, to light displays honoring our armed forces, the Winterfest Driving Tours is quite the Christmas sight!
City of Gatlinburg Trolley Tours
To view light displays in Gatlinburg, hop on Gatlinburg’s Winterfest Trolley Ride of Lights for a delightful 45-minute guided narrative tour of the city. Rides depart from the Gatlinburg Welcome Center at traffic light Number 5 (at the Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies). Rides are $4, scheduled to leave at 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm nightly from November 8, 2017 to January 31, 2018. The trolley is closed on Christmas day; rides resume in January on Saturday nights only. Look forward to seeing winking and dancing bears, toy soldiers, hot air balloons and much more. The rest you have to see for yourself!

How much: The guided tour costs $5 per person. Children under the age of 3 are free, if they are sitting in an adult’s lap.
