Have you made your 4th of July plans yet?  In Pigeon Forge, Tennessee they’re celebrating our nation’s Independence Day with an all-day festival featuring music, games, and, of course, fireworks!  The Pigeon Forge Patriot Festival is an area tradition bringing families together year after year.  Even better, it’s completely free to attend.  Don’t miss one of the best 4th of July events in the Southeast!

This year’s festival headliner is husband and wife duo, Thompson Square. Their hit singles include “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not” and “If I Didn’t Have You.” Listen as their vocals light up the stage before the night sky dazzles with a spectacular fireworks display.
In addition to a number of local entertainers, Departure, a Journey tribute band, will perform.
Thompson Square will headlines this year’s festival.

An afternoon and evening of fun make this the prime Pigeon Forge Independence Day celebration.  Little ones will enjoy the Kids Karnival, complete with carnival games and inflatables, which begins at noon. A variety of food will be available throughout the day, with everything from sweet to savory items for sale.  A full day of musical performances and free entertainment is also on tap for the Pigeon Forge Patriot Festival.

Bring the whole family!

At the conclusion of all musical performances, the Pigeon Forge night sky comes to life with a fantastic fireworks display. The fireworks usually start at 9:30 to 9:45 pm, so keep your eyes on the skies. You won’t want to miss this display in Pigeon Forge July 4th while we celebrate our great nation. The 20-minute dazzling fireworks show, one of the largest in Tennessee for Independence Day, will be visible throughout Pigeon Forge.

The best views will be at Patriot Park. Parking will be limited, but visitors can park at the parking facility on Teaster Lane and hop a free trolley to the festival.   Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the show.
