My husband and I both really enjoyed the show tonight. We sang, clapped our hands, laughed, danced, and felt totally entertained. The meal was good, excellent choices, and could go back for seconds. Money well spent! Thank you all!

"WOW!"
October, 2018 NEW
My sister and 2 of my friends and I were celebrating my sisters birthday at The Soul of Motown Show. I had heard from many others and read many reviews and thought that it would be a great show, but I had no idea how spectacular it truly would be. All four of us were blown away! The talent was top notch, powerful, beautiful voices, costumes beautiful, choreography entertaining and the food was delicious! How refreshing to see a show that had incredible talent, was truly entertaining and was God-honoring, patriotic and honoring to our vets. We couldn't sit still through the whole show. The music took us back and we sang along and danced to these great timeless hits. I WILL go back and I have told many that they need to go, as well. Thank you for a truly memorable and enjoyable evening!

"Good Motown Show"

I've seen this act 2 yrs ago and was superb. Went to see it again, some different singers. Was rushed because we went to 5 o'clock show. They had to get us out before the next one. We didn't have dinner, it was sold out. We sat in the balcony. It ended up being an hour and half Show. There was a 15 minute break. Just seemed to be a waste of time. It just wasn't as good as the last one. It was 35 dollars a ticket. Dinner is more. Gave 2 dollars off for military.

"Great show"

As mentioned already, allow time to fight the hectic traffic, or you will arrive late. I enjoyed the show a lot. The band and singers were all very entertaining and energetic. They gave their all in giving us a great show. This is a dinner theater, so there is a meal. It is a buffet, and to me was disorganized. When we arrived, there were several bus tours already there and seated. There was no one directing us on what to do. When we entered, we first saw the food bar and asked someone the procedure. Some lady told us to get our food and go to our seats. We did and later found out she must have just been a visitor like us because when we entered the theater with our plates of food, no one else had food. They later begin calling people by groups to go to the food bar, so here we are eating while no one around us has any food. We felt a little uncomfortable about this. We had just been to Dolly's Stampede the night before, and that was organization! To me the food was fair. I have never gotten really great food at a dinner theater anywhere, so this is what I expected. They did have fried chicken strips that were very good. Please be sure to take extra money to tip the server. If you enjoy soul music, I would strongly recommend this show.

"NOT ALL MOTOWN MUSIC"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed October 10, 2018 NEW
First of all, I would like to say that the entertainer's performance are superb. These guys and ladies put their heart out to give you a night's entertainment. Super Awesome Voices! I am a bit disappointed because I am expecting an ALL MOTOWN songs but it is NOT. But instead they play more of the Chicago Soul, NY and Philly Internationals artists. They should have just title the show- SOUL MUSIC. Very little Motown songs at it's best. The show comes with a Buffet dinner. It's not very good.....chicken strips, hard as a rock meatballs they called meatloaf and overly cooked pasta and canned veggies. YUCK! Might as well eat out before going to the show. The show is still nice and very entertaining. The theatre is nice and clean. My husband and I still enjoyed it. e both love Soul Music!

"Good Motown covers, but lots of missing material. We won't eat there again. Look elsewhere."

The older you get, the more you have seen, but the less you remember. This show was collegiate at best. Any college drama class would do as well, if they rehearsed. The cast sang some songs that other casts have been singing for 40 years. I know the words to the tunes, I know the original artist versions, I enjoy the beat, and I like to dance. There was no real dance floor, the floor everywhere stuck to my dance shoes. The crowd was focused on entertaining those geriatric folks with demographics of listening to R&B on the radio in the 60s. The food that was available was not what we would have hoped for, and they rushed the crowd through the minimal buffet, then closed it. It was all you can eat, in 30 minutes! I would not eat there again.

"Wonderful evening of soul"

"Soul of Motown" at the Majestic Theatre in Pigeon Forge is a wonderful experience, one of the most enjoyable shows I have attended. The cast is outstanding and the atmosphere is wonderful. Plan on leaving early to the theatre because parkway traffic is sometimes difficult. We had the dinner which is good, but I'm not sure it's worth the extra price on the admission ticket. A must see when in Pigeon Forge.
