We attended two shows here recently. We saw the Charlie Bob Smith morning variety show. Charlie is very talented and can do great impersonations. We also attended the evening show. Quite impressive. Kind of pricey but well worth it.
The Smoky Mountain Opry is NOT as you might expect, just a second rate copy of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, but a first rate review that lasts 2 hours plus intermission. While the show does feature Country and Gospel music segments, there are also classic pieces from the 40's to the present, including some excellent impressions by Charlie Bob Smith. Between and sometimes incorporated with the music are aerial acts, comedy and other surprises. This show does not include dinner. You should check local sources for sometimes significant discounts.

It got off to a bit of a slow start, but then it went turned and everything was incredible. The Broadway scenes took my breath away! Great atmosphere and family friendly.
By far the best show in the Smokies. This is a MUST SEE and YOU WILL LOVE IT. On par with Vegas shows, it is something you do not want to miss. Completely professional and entertaining for the entire family. The Christmas show is a MUST SEE. Highly recommend.
