Description

from Paula Deen's Lumberjack Feud Show
Wildly popular Lumberjack Feud returns to Pigeon Forge! Rip-roaring, high-energy family fun guaranteed for both the young and the young at heart.

Journey back in time to the days before the establishment of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park when the logging industry ruled the area. The show features an “end-of-season” feud between two families whose names were synonymous with the timber business – the Dawsons and the McGraws. World-class lumberjacks represent both families in a variety of thrilling, fast-paced tests of skill and prowess ranging from chopping and axe throwing to tree climbing and log rolling.

Guests become part of the experience as they join in the competitive spirit, cheering for their Dawson or McGraw lumberjack family. And children are invited to try their hand at cross-cutting with a lumberjack during the show’s intermission.

Located at Lumberjack Square, the 350-person outdoor venue home to Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud will feature padded seating under a covered, climate-controlled grandstand designed for the guests’ comfort. The show will operate rain or shine with the season running through December.

Please Note: This show is NOT a dinner show. However, several restaurants are located nearby in the Lumberjack Square.

"Fun Family Time"
November, 2018 NEW
It was truly cold the night we went to the Lumberjack Feud but our laughter and the talent of the lumberjacks kept us warm. These guys toward the end fell into the water. We knew the water was heated BUT, they came out of the water and entertained us more. If you looked around the audience, you'd see smiles and laughter on faces of all ages from 1 to 101. Sure it's an exaggeration but I didn't see a frown or hear a negative word from anyone. We got our tickets thru reserve Pigeon Forge and the ease was amazing and the savings was wonderful. We had six people so we had to watch our pennies. I would recommend this show to everyone.

"Let down on length of performance"
November, 2018
It receives 3 stars because the actors/athletes in the show were incredible. Great inviroment. HOWEVER, what we thought was a great price for a show that is advertised as 90 mins was actually only 60 mins and it made me feel like the value went from great to “the could have done better”. Either change your advertisement or do it right.

We visited the Lumberjack Feud because we wanted to see something different this time while visiting Pigeon Forge. When we first got there to get tickets we didn't even know if the place was open or not because they were still under construction, but the cashier said that they were open and so we decided to give it a shot. Our show started at 5pm and the moment we walked to our seats we knew were in for a good time. The stage is set up nice and when the announcer told us which family we were rooting for, they introduced the Lumberjacks. As the show went along these men were doing some daring feats, things that I could do, since I live in West Virginia, but wouldn't because of obvious dangerous reasons. lol. Anyways the shows announcer kept the show lively and the lumberjacks even had their chances to show us their skills and abilities. The Lumberjacks were also hilarious, because every once in a while, they told us an unexpected joke and made most of us laugh. The best thing that I enjoyed about the show was that after each round a token, a piece of tree trunk, was given to the team who won that round, and my most of them were given to the children in the audience which seemed to make their day. My son even got one and he was super excited that he got a lumberjack "cookie". The only thing that I would have critique is the bleachers. While it was nice to have overhead heaters to keep us warm, we sat close to the bottom to get a better view of the show, but it seemed like the heat wasn't coming down that far onto the bleachers, so my advice is if you get cold easily, go to the middle or top of the bleachers to sit. All in all, we will be returning on our next trip because we would love to see what they plan on doing with the other half of the stadium they are building. You can walk around the perimeter of the place and look at the construction, but you can’t get close to it but what from what you can see it looks like they are building something that will be neat to see in the future.

This was a great show - they encourage crowd participation. A lot of skill by the men. Although they are still completing the facility...I would definitely recommend you visit this attraction. It is outside, but you are under cover and there are heaters...dress for the weather.
