from Murder Mystery Dinner Show
The Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Dinner Show is a small and intimate theater, perfect for the up close and interactive show it provides. Our traditional, restaurant-style murder mystery plays out all over the dining room, so every seat is the perfect seat. There are four sidesplitting, parody-style shows played in repertory each week: Scarlett Reloaded, Moonshine Murders, The Killbillies, and Frankly, Scarlett… You’re Dead! Guests are given the opportunity to participate in the mystery, either by becoming an audience actor or by solving the murder using the clue packet provided at each seat.

Scarlett Reloaded is the sequel to our audience favorite, Frankly, Scarlett… You’re Dead! Moonshine Murders stars the Luke family who have been runnin’ shine in Sevier County but are finding it harder to evade the law with all of the tourists in town. The Clampetts are the stars of The Killbillies who have relocated to Pigeon Forge, where Jed is looking for a new life and a new wife! And then there’s Scarlett and Melody, the not-so-sweet daughters of Colonel Simpson, who is looking to marry-off his two bundles of joy in Frankly, Scarlett… You’re Dead!

Your ticket includes our “laugh ‘til you die” murder mystery show with a Prize Package for the Top Sleuth of the night, as well as a three-course dinner with choice of soup and desert topping.

Now Showing:
Scarlett Reloaded Scarlett Reloaded is the sequel to our audience’s all-time favorite show, Frankly, Scarlett…You’re Dead! It is four years later when we find Melody Simpson and her Uncle Avery planning a cotillion of sorts. Now that Scarlett is out of the picture, Miss Melody has her pick of all the eligible suitors this side of the Mason-Dixon Line. Sadly, the only eligible suitors are the two Pinkney boys. Buffoonery, mayhem and murder are sure to ensue as the Pinkney boys fight for the honor of Miss Melody Simpson.

Moonshine Murders
The Lukes have been runnin' shine for years in the Sevier County hills. The unscrupulous Boss Boar and his henchwoman, local law officer Roscette P. Ketrain, have pursued them for years to no avail. But Sevier County has now become a prime tourist destination with increased traffic, making it harder for the Lukes to outrun the incompetent law woman. It is for this reason that Uncle Bessie has decided to sell his highly sought after, top-secret moonshine recipe to the local distillery at the bi-weekly Boss Boar Celebrity Speed Trap Concert featuring Elvis. The only problem is that Uncle Bessie hasn’t discussed the sale of the family business with the rest of the family.

The evening of the concert has the whole county vying for the top-secret moonshine recipe and is full of murder, mayhem, and of course - moonshine. So grab your hats and hold on to your seats 'cause it's gonna be a bumpy ride in Sevier County tonight!

The Killbillies
Back from Beverly Hills to start a new life in Pigeon Forge, meet the Clampett Family. Jed, the patriarch of the clan, has designs on a new life and a new wife after some financial and zombie problems in California. Ellie May and Jethro are up to their own brand of mischief and hijinks, while Granny misses her California life as much as she misses her motorcycle gang. All this and more in a brand new take of your favorite characters in the Beverly Killbillies!

Frankly, Scarlett…You’re Dead!
An evening of over-the-top antebellum hilarity where dinner guests will witness a crime, or two, and solve a mystery! The year is 1861 and Yankee spies are everywhere! Keep your eyes open and your pistol ready as Colonel Simpson throws a party in hopes of marrying off his daughters, Scarlett and Melody. Seems the only eligible bachelors are a tad….odd, then of course there is a handsome gambler of questionable repute. Jealousy, espionage, money and dowries…so many motives, so few suspects.

Seating is assigned when you check in at the theater.

"Very disappointing"

The acting was bad. The food was mediocre at best. There are many other things to spend your money on in this area. Skip this one.

Tip: The actors are completely talentless. I laughed maybe once then it was just to be polite.

"Not prepared"

I have never given a bad review before; but I have to do it this time. There is not enough seating in the waiting area and no one talked to us from the theater. I felt we were ignored during the dinner service and when we did get our food, they never came around to see if we needed anything, and as for the boiled chicken (at least that is what it reminded me of); once you have it you never forget the taste. As for the show; the performance reminded me of a play that elementry children would give. With all the competition there are in the Smokey Mountain area, they really should have practiced ALLOT more. I will NOT be going back and I am telling all my friends to not waste their money or time.

Not worth the money you had to pay! The price was as much as the other shows "Hatfield and McCoy, lumber Jack and dixie stampede" which I wish that I have gone too. The food didn't have much of a taste. Wasted money and my time! We should of known when we drove up to the place and saw what kind of building it was in! Don't waste your time!

My Family had a great time. We thought the actors were very good and professional. The food was also, very good. Our only comment for the food was that the bread should be served with the soup. The clue sheets keeps everyone engaged in the show!!!

"Disappointed with and in the management over our seats."
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed January 16, 2018
I called before our trip from Lou. Ky. to make reservation for our party of 5 for Saturday, Jan. 13th and asked for good seats b/c I was bringing my daughter and granddaughter (age 11) that has never been before. I spoke with Toby and she was very nice and helpful. Seating is first come first serve so we were there at 5:15. Woman at door told me "I got your request and gave you good seats at a good table." We were the 4th family to be called back. Another family was called same time as us but behind us. We stopped to get our pictures taken and then when they took us to the table we had the back seats of a table for 10, table #6. I said oh n, I was told we had good seats. I went and saw the manager. He did nothing. I was livid to say the least. There were other tables not seated yet but he wouldn't move us. This was a my 4th time to the Dinner Theater and I love going but will NEVER go again!!!!! We go stay in Pigeon Forge once or twice a year. This year, 2018, we are going 3 times. Jan. May and Nov. Depending on who we go with depends if I get to go to the Murder Mystery Dinner Show. It is a nice evening out, lots of fun and laughs. The actors are good, very energetic especially the female actress that has been there all 4 times I have seen the shows. She is amazing. The waitress told us that the actors go all around the room and we will see them. The actors NEVER ONCE came back around our area or table. The people that got our good seats was a family of 6. Parents and four children. Man, woman, 2 young teenagers, a 2 year old and a 1 year old. I know the ages of their babies b/c our waitress asked them. 1 year old of course sat on one of the parents lap at all times. The babies were good but that is not the point. The point is: DOING THE RIGHT THING IS NOT ALWAYS EASY BUT THE RIGHT THING TO DO. Management should have changed our seats since I had just been told about them honoring my request not 10 minutes before we went in. I was very upset and did not enjoy my evening. I purchased 5 adult tickets so my 11 year granddaughter could have there same meal as the rest of us and her 14 year old cousin. $233.05 for our show tickets and a $20.00 tip for our waitress is what I spent. Too much money to spend and get treated like we did.

We took our family to see the Murder Mystery Show and had an amazing time. It can be difficult to find activities for my entire family to enjoy as I have a children aged 16, 13, 4, and 1. All of the kids enjoyed themselves during the show and were laughing. Thank you for giving us a great night out!

Had a good time from the moment you walk in the door. The show is good and interactive for all ages. The cast members are suited perfectly. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was served hot and was very very good. There is a small selection of beer available and the photos you can take are fun. Well done!

"Nice little dinner show"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed January 05, 2018
This was a nice little dinner show. The show itself and the actors/actresses were GREAT. I didn't like that you didn't eat while the show was going on, but it's in a very small area so I understand why they have to do it that way. We saw the Moonshine Murders show, I have never seen any of the other shows, but this one was really cute. The food was also pretty good. We would definitely go again if we get back to that area. They have a bar where you can buy alcohol before the show, I could definitely do without that. Also, the waiting area is WAY too small!!!
