Description

from Murder Mystery Dinner Show
The Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Dinner Show is a small and intimate theater, perfect for the up close and interactive show it provides. Our traditional, restaurant-style murder mystery plays out all over the dining room, so every seat is the perfect seat. There are four sidesplitting, parody-style shows played in repertory each week: Gun With the Wind, Moonshine Murders, and The Killbillies. Guests are given the opportunity to participate in the mystery, either by becoming an audience actor or by solving the murder using the clue packet provided at each seat.

Gun With the Wind is the sequel to our audience favorite, Frankly, Scarlett… You’re Dead! Moonshine Murders stars the Luke family who have been runnin’ shine in Sevier County but are finding it harder to evade the law with all of the tourists in town. The Clampetts are the stars of The Killbillies who have relocated to Pigeon Forge, where Jed is looking for a new life and a new wife!

Your ticket includes our “laugh ‘til you die” murder mystery show with a Prize Package for the Top Sleuth of the night, as well as a three-course dinner with choice of soup and cheesecake for dessert.

Now Showing:
Gun With the Wind Gun With the Wind is the sequel to our audience favorite, Frankly, Scarlett… You’re Dead! It is four years later when we find Melody Simpson and her Uncle Avery planning a cotillion of sorts. Now that Scarlett is out of the picture, Miss Melody has her pick of all the eligible suitors this side of the Mason-Dixon Line. Sadly, the only eligible suitors are the two Pinkney boys. Buffoonery, mayhem and murder are sure to ensue as the Pinkney boys fight for the honor of Miss Melody Simpson.

Moonshine Murders
The Lukes have been runnin' shine for years in the Sevier County hills. The unscrupulous Boss Boar and his henchwoman, local law officer Roscette P. Ketrain, have pursued them for years to no avail. But Sevier County has now become a prime tourist destination with increased traffic, making it harder for the Lukes to outrun the incompetent law woman. It is for this reason that Uncle Bessie has decided to sell his highly sought after, top-secret moonshine recipe to the local distillery at the bi-weekly Boss Boar Celebrity Speed Trap Concert featuring Elvis. The only problem is that Uncle Bessie hasn’t discussed the sale of the family business with the rest of the family.

The evening of the concert has the whole county vying for the top-secret moonshine recipe and is full of murder, mayhem, and of course - moonshine. So grab your hats and hold on to your seats 'cause it's gonna be a bumpy ride in Sevier County tonight!

The Killbillies
Back from Beverly Hills to start a new life in Pigeon Forge, meet the Clampett Family. Jed, the patriarch of the clan, has designs on a new life and a new wife after some financial and zombie problems in California. Ellie May and Jethro are up to their own brand of mischief and hijinks, while Granny misses her California life as much as she misses her motorcycle gang. All this and more in a brand new take of your favorite characters in the Beverly Killbillies!

Seating is assigned when you check in at the theater.

"Unexpectantly Good"

I've been to a few murder mysteries and this one met my expectations. The guy at the reservation desk could have been a bit more pleasant but I didn't let that ruin my night. The show was entertaining and the dinner was good. The jokes were entertaining. This show isn't something I would attend more than once due to the price and since I would know what the clues were but I would recommend to anyone to take in.

We had a group of 9 ranging in age from 8 to 54 and everyone of us enjoyed ourselves. We all laughed and had fun finding the clues. Best mystery dinner we have gone to in a long time.

Our first time here and it was fun. It's a small place so you feel very involved in what's going on. The actors were great and funny to watch. The food, I wasn't overly thrilled about but I really loved the sweet tea and the cheesecake. I'm not sure it's worth $50pp but it was a good laugh. I didn't figure out who was the killer LOL.

I would give this 2.5 stars out of five. The show was pretty good, the actors were on point and funny. The whole scene was corny but that’s why we came, it was expected for a dinner show. My gripe is this is wayyyy over priced. For the show, food, the whole experience, the tickets should be $25-30 max, DEFINITELY not $50. In my opinion, it’s worth $25, not $50 by any means. The food: mashed potatoes were great! The rolls were really good too. I’m a vegetarian and the only option was Alfredo with veggies (mixed in). I felt like there should have been another side as it wasn’t filling at all. I ordered the chicken dish just to get the mashed potatoes, green beans and roll. It was more than just Alfredo from the vegetarian option. But still wasn’t enough for a dinner. So, I left hungry and starving. I ended up, as well as my whole table, getting all the clues right and guessing the murderer, what happened, etc but we were told that we all went into a hat and only one winner was drawn from the entire crowd. I feel like everyone should get a lil something (a coupon maybe to a local business) just for getting all the clues correct and guessing everything right. It isn’t easy after all. There were alcoholic beverages for purchase beforehand which was nice. The staff was very professional and friendly.

The show was very entertaining and they involved the audience during the show. It is low lighting in the theater and there are puzzles to solve so be prepared. Younger children may not enjoy this venue.

I have to say this is a small scale production. The actors knew their parts and put on the show. The boneless chicken, slice of turkey, potatoes, green beans and roll were good. Potato soup, broccoli and cheese soup or veg soup was good too. Good cheesecake. Clue books with puzzles was a nice touch. We had a good time at gun with the wind. Good clean entertainment. They sell beer also.

"Family Bonding Fun and New Social Experience!!"

Had a blast with my husband and 13 year old daughter!! Wasnt sure how this would turn out upon entering the dinner theater. We were seated with 3 people (a couple and their high school grand daughter) and my teen is a little shy in new situations. We were given clue packets to start working on and within minutes, our entire table was working as a team to solve the mystery!!! The other family was great; as was the acting!! We all had a blast getting to know each other and trying to solve the mystery (which my husband solved in the very beginning..😉). The food was OK, but the fun we had made up for it all!! The Killbillies was very entertaining and would love to see the other 2 shows sometime!
