Truly amazing show. Music, magic, comedy... couldn't ask for anything more. Met Darren after the show and he is an incredible person. Humble and friendly he took the time to sign autographs, speak with everyone and take pictures. Didn't matter how long it took he was happy to meet everyone.
Tip: Best show in Pigeon Forge.

"Loved The Show"
July, 2016
Darren Romeo is a seasoned professional - you can see that from the very beginning of the show. Frankly, I pretty much expected a "theme park" style show but he delivered so much more.

Yes, it is a family show and Darren makes sure everybody is entertained. What I didn't expect was the quality of the production - right out of Las Vegas. There's something else I didn't expect.

My wife forgot to tell me that Darren combines magic, humor, and broadway musical selections as the background for the illusions. He is very vocalist as well as magician.

Overall, the show is upbeat, fun, emotional, and very satisfying.

Darren is just beginning a 3 years engagement and the house was already packed. He's sure to become a Pidgeon Forge favorite.

We'll be back for sure.

Tip: The show is about 2.5 hours long with intermission - just about right. And don't worry about the "commercials" that others mention. They're not too long, they keep it very humorous, and if you're like me, you'll ending taking a few of his tricks home with you to entertain the grandkids. You won't regret seeing this show.

"Great show for all"
June, 2016
Such an entertaining show, great magic, great music, a little too much selling done on stage for products, but I guess it's part of it, although I think the price of admission should preclude the commercials.
Tip: That this man is a Las Vegas worthy performer and has a great sense of humor.

"Magic with Darren Romeo"

Wonderful entertainment! Darren is amazing. His singing, acting, magic, impersonations, personality and wit really made the show. I feel like I should have paid more to see him! Have already recommended his show to others. Top Notch! And he is kind enough to meet and greet after the show.
Tip: You don't have to arrive early to get a good seat. Once tickets are purchased online, your seats are reserved.

We went to this show and it was so much fun! We went during the Christmas season and loved all the holiday theme to the show. It was very funny, amazing and entertaining. We liked the quaint theater, just the right size With a more personal element to it. Because of the size no matter where you sit you could easily see the show.

If Terry Evanswood (5 stars) is the Ring of Honor of Magic Shows then Darren Romeo is its Lucha Underground (best of the best). The "Harry Connick, Jr" of magic brings a highly entertaining and elegant show combining talented assistants, classic songs, and illusions that have to be experienced to be believed and you can believe that. I know how most of the illusions are performed but still was dazzled by the professionalism and grace with which they were executed. One illusion where he made a coffee table levitate turning into a beautifully choreographed dance was truly magnetic. His tribute to the late Bobby Darin was a touching tribute with a surprise ending. In a highly unusual occurrence the young couple sitting next to us received a call during intermission that caused the young woman to go into instant grief and they had to leave the theatre. Despite this unfortunate occurence, Romeo lightened the mood with an excellent second half. I read a review where a young mother complained that Romeo had an assistant pass through his stomach. I am sorry that this was apparently cut from the playlist as I sure would have liked to see that. She should perhaps get her daughter tested as she may be dim. A tribute to Harry and Gay Blackstone was described by our party as the best magic trick from before the age of digital to appear before our eyes. The warm up act involved providing the audience an opportunity to purchase illusions from Romeo's bag of tricks. The guy selling these kits was much more entertaining than the best The Comedy Barn had to offer. One thing we appreciated is that he promoted family fun and clean comedy. I was able to perform one illusion for the professional photograph manager by apparently making our own group photo disappear. It was nowhere to be found but made for a fun intermission. This Friday afternoon did not have the biggest draw of the season creating an intimate atmosphere. To the credit of performer extraordinaire Darren Romeo -- he did not phone it in.

Set in a very large auditorium, this one-man Broadway production show features a magician that sings or is it a singer that does magic? Anyway it is a very entertaining show by Darren Romeo who says during the show that he was an understudy to Sigfried and Roy in Las Vegas. The illusions are done masterfully and the performance flows seamlessly between magic and singing, with some comedy thrown in. A couple acts involve audience members and is very entertaining. The theater has a large lobby that sells concessions, souvenirs, and (of course) magic tricks. As a matter of fact, before the show starts a gentlemen is on stage offering a "magic book" for sale. Intermission provides the opportunity to peddle more wares. The theater also has an upstairs loft where a parent could take a child/baby and still watch the show through a window. Darren seems genuinely appreciative of the audience and gives a solid performance.

"Should decide if it's a magic show or a musical revue"

We went to a matinee which was almost empty. The juxtaposition between the magic and the singing was not good. If you want to listen to a magician sing, then this is for you. If you want a more traditional magic act, this will likely irritate or bore you. The performer seemed very well-intentioned, but this did not mesh well for me.
