This was a mother- daughter getaway and needless to say we like the dinner shows. The entertainment was excellent and the food great and plentiful. We enjoyed the dogs and the acrobats. Great family show and would highly recommend it.

"Great fun for whole family"
Reviewed July, 2016 NEW
I went with my daughter and four children on our final night in Tennessee. The kids who ranged in age from 8 to 13 (and who rarely look
Up from their electronic devices) stayed mesmerized the whole time with the fast paced, dancing, comedic, fascinating competition as it unfolded. The dogs were a great addition too! Dinner was delicious and added to our overall great experience.
Tip: Come early but not too early. Someone told us to come an hour early and kids were getting antsy before the show even WITH the entertainment.

This is one of the best shows in Pigeon Forge. I have seen this show a couple of times in the past but the changes that have been made have made it spectacular. The added lights and stunts have created an event that will take your breath away. Good show for all ages. The food was very good.
Tip: Make sure you are hungry.

"Best family fun"
Reviewed June, 2016
Dolly's Lumberjack Adventure is a fun, exciting family outings. From the daring acrobatics and lumberjack completions, to the wonderful storyline, you are completely amazed and entertained for the entire event. The food was excellent and our waitress, Emma, was extremely sweet and very professional. Your drink glass was never empty and she was always there to help. Everyone was so friendly and the actors/acrobats greeted everyone at the end and was eager to take pictures with everyone. It's a definite must see for the whole family. We can't wait to go back. Kellie S.
Tip: Get there early and enjoy the show.

"Awesome show!"

Out of the three shows we saw while visiting, the Lumberjack Adventure was by far the best show. We would definitely go to this show again!
Tip: Don't worry about the way they funnel you in to the room. It really is very well organized and worth every second of the organized chaos.

"OK Show"
Reviewed June, 2016
Show was ok, food so so. Our waiter was very good and got food out to us in a timely manner. Do not understand the serving of alcohol at a so called family show. I myself would not go again, I would use the money to try another dinner show. Dixie Stampede was much better.
Tip: I would not worry about getting there to early, very crowded and very few places to sit.

"Entertaining but Crowded"
Reviewed June, 2016
First off, don't book an 8pm show. Right now Lumberjack Adventure is only running a 5:00pm show and we almost missed out because of this. The lady at the box office helped us out when this was an issue however.

The seating is very tight and we were shoulder to shoulder with our neighbors so it was awkward and uncomfortable. One chair could have been removed from each row and it would have been much more comfortable.

Everyone in the show was extremely talented but the storyline was very predictable and cheesy. I liked the lumberjack games portion and the dogs were cute.

Overall, it was nice but I won't be back a second time. It's worth checking out but by far not my favorite show in Pigeon Forge!
Tip: Arrive about an hour ealy for mixed drinks and bluegrass music.

We had a great time at the lumberjack adventure and would definitely go back. We loved the dogs performance. They were so happy and energetic chasing the floats and it seemed that they couldn't wait for more. The performers were great and friendly speaking to everyone as we left. I hope everyone gets a chance to see this show.
Tip: The staff was very helpful

"No More Alcohol Please"
Reviewed June, 2016
The show and the food were very good, but we were very disappointed to see alcohol being purchased and served. Why would anyone even think of adding the sale of alcohol to a faith and family show??? It was not the faith, family, friends place that we thought it would be. We were planning on taking our grandchildren later on, but probably will not now due to the alcohol. Our recommendations: 1) The food, tea, and condiments should be served in a timely manner. 2) Please reconsider the sale of alcohol and keep the show kid friendly.
Tip: Lots of alcohol around children.

Was not happy with the drinks being served in front of my children, not much entertainment, food was not good at all...... Server forgot to bring our chicken out until we were all done which did not take long being the food was horrible. I was so glad when this show was over, will not be back.
Tip: Too much drinking going on for small children and food is not good they will not eat it.

I have been to the old Lumberjack Show and Dinner so my Family decided to go see this new show since Dolly had this Lumberjack ,I am Supprised to see men and women walking around with a bottle of beer drinking with Children all around and it a Family show I found it very distasteful for me and also the part of Granny should have been played by a Granny and not by a man . The whole experience was not what I expected and Dolly Being over The New Lumberjack.

"Fun but not great for little kids"
Reviewed May, 2016
My family of five just went to this show tonight, our kids ages 8, 6, and 4. Our kids haven't had many non-pbskids viewing experiences, so while this show was mostly good for them, there were a few parts that were too scary/creepy. There were subplots about Bigfoot, and also about a witch and monsters who lived in the forest. It was done in a fairly cartoony way, but for young kids (mostly my 4 yr old) still learning to differentiate between fantasy and reality, those parts were just too much. One has already awakened tonight because she's scared of the witch.
Those parts aside, the acrobatics and dancing and the competition between sides was a lot of fun and I'm glad we went! Great food, too! Wish we weren't told to arrive an hour early though; mostly just a lot of waiting in the middle of a large crowd...not my favorite with kids in tow. Overall, a fun experience that I would totally recommend if storylines about witches and monsters won't be a problem for your kids!
Tip: The seating is spaced pretty close together so prepare to be a little cozy with your neighbor.

"GREAT SHOW AND DINNER"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

wonderful fun packed show. dinner was great. lumberjack show is acrobatic and show the ways of how lumberjacks did things. the show tells a great story centered around the entire show. show sells out fast, make sure you get tickets online or when you get into town. show times are 5:30 and 8:30, you need to arrive 1 hour before for the music show, they also have face painting, gift shop, and kids can pan in the gem mine, and you can get adult drinks also. you can get show with dinner or without.

"My Child Liked It"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed July 26, 2016 NEW

As parents you often do things to please your children that may be a little off-beat for the grown-ups. I saw this show a few years back and not much has changed since then. Would have liked to seen more lumber jacking and less singing and dancing, but, as I said my child liked it. I would also have liked to see different menu items instead of the same food that each venue offers in Pigeon Forge. For this, I give a four out of five.

"Great Entertainment"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed July 26, 2016 NEW

The Lumberjack Review is a variety of acrobatic and comical performances while a nice dinner/lunch is served. The dinner is a good meal with chicken, pulled pork, corn-on-the-cob, half potato, cole slaw, drinks included, pie for dessert and maybe a couple of other things that I forgot. A very meal and our waiter would jump to get whatever you asked him to do Since so much action was always going on the stage it was a little distracting to glance down at your food. The show was very entertaining with a lot for everyone from kids through seniors. Great family entertainment and will worth the price which I thought was actually very reasonable. We sat at the center and near the top of the auditorium which gave us great views of the entire stage. Although you could see from all seats, if you sit on one side you might be looking at the back/front only of some scenes such as the trampolines. Highly recommended for couples and good family fun.
