"Hazzard County Review"

Very entertaining performance. My wife and I attended with another couple. We are all seniors and we thoroughly enjoyed the performance based on the hit TV show "The Dukes of Hazzard". I thought the show was funny. We also enjoyed the dancing as part of the performance. This was a dinner show and the food was great. They served the food buffet style and then, we carried the food to our table. I highly recommend this show located in Pigeon Forge, TN.
Tip: Remember the dinner is a buffet and people need to walk to the buffet and carry the food back to the table. I believe the theater has provisions for people with disabilities. May be a good idea to call ahead to be sure.

"Hazard County Fabulous-ness!!"
Reviewed October, 2015
The Hazard County was fantastic (after it got into the storyline - I was afraid they were just going to sing country music the whole time without a story)! We had 3rd row seats and even got on the kiss cam which had to be changed the hug cam since my son wouldn't kiss me. :) It was a great night of good food and laughter. Roscoe and Boss Hogg were so funny and so talented. Glad we went.
Tip: Try to get 1st-3rd row seating. Love the seating there.

"Amazing show!"

I will admit, I figured it would be corny. It was great. My kids who had never seen dukes of hazzard loved it. Music was great! Kept us laughing too. Loved the meet and greet after the show. We enjoyed it.
Tip: Floor seating is more comfortable

"Nice, but lacking in the food department"
Reviewed October, 2015
Our Family loves the Dukes of Hazzard, so we were really excited to see the show, and just as the advertisement we came hungry, and well left hungry. The meal reminds you of a McD's commercial, in what way you ask? Well, you know when you see the most perfect bigmac, and it looks good? Then you buy the real thing and wow, it's on big mess all over.
My children even looked less than excited to "dig-in." Chicken nuggets were not dancing in our heads, we wanted the big old southern fried chicken, with fluffy biscuits, green beans smothered in a sauce only granny could make. Like the picture in the ad! Instead cafeteria food.
Now for the show it was great, we all laughed, enjoyed the patriotic ending, and could not stop talking about Boss and Roscoe. The actors were all great for the little props and glitz other show have. This was stripped down, but in a good way. Would we go again? Only if the food matches the show.
Tip: Eat before you see the show or plan to to a later dinner

"Enjoying the Hoedown"
Reviewed October, 2015
My husband and I needed a day of relaxation and time away from the business of everyday life, we chose to make a trip to the Hazzard County Hoedown. The show was o.k., it could use some improvement. The food was alright, but, needed more variety. I did like the theater set up. Our insight might be related to our age, we are seniors, younger folks will probably enjoy it much better.
Tip: If you expect the actors to look like the dukes, you will be disappointed. Most of the food is not homemade.

The show was ok but it was much better the first year it opened. there was more of a skit and plot and less singing the first time we seen it. The food was still awesome though..
balcony seating isn't as comfortable as floor seating just a fyi.
Tip: try to get floor seating avoid balcony and go hungry because the food is the best!!!

I would strongly advise Skipping this show if your a party of 2 or 3. when they say they sale all seats that's what they mean. we had a party of 2 and as we sat down at our table to eat. They brought 2 more people (totally stranger's ) to eat at our table. complaining will do you know good. the manager's will get totally rude with you and not give you your money back.

"Musical with bad food!"

We expected more of a comedy. It's was all singing, but all the singers were talented. FOOD WAS TERRIBLE!!! Don't pay extra for food. Sloppy joes, chicken nuggets, corn on the cob, baked beans, coleslaw. It's hard to mess up sloppy joes! We aren't picky eaters, but the food was barely edible.
