The show was ok and the food was also just ok. This place is kinda expensive. On the other hand, our servers were really nice!

We booked the show and thought it was going to be the standard show but turned out to be the Christmas show with some of the same stuff. Food was not the best but you did not go away hungry. Each item came out seperately.

"A wonderful dinner show!"
October, 2018 NEW
From the time we picked up our tickets at the booth, until the end of the evening, we encountered nothing but friendly people. The food was great! Fried chicken, soup, wonderful biscuits, mac & cheese, sweet potatoes, ( I never ate them before, they were so good!), & peach turnover for dessert. All very good. The show! We loved it, and my husband even got to play a part in it, what a surprise! Service was great, We enjoyed ourselves so much!

"Great Show"

Great show but disappointed in menu selection. I realize in this type of setting you need food that the servers can serve quickly but too many starches - a salad or maybe green beans would have been better.

We had an excellent time at the show. Food was good (except the peach turnover didn't have much flavor), server was very pleasant and attentive, and the performers were very talented. Liked the different types of performances.

This was like the Dixie Stampede. The food wasn’t as good though. The show was good had a lot of variety. For the money we prefer the Stampede.

Tip: Unreal how much they charge for the pictures. Having a printing background I know they are making a tremendous profit.

We just attended the Christmas celebration show. We have now seen three different shows at this same theater. Apparently it's changing yet again. The Christmas show was extremely enjoyable and the performances were outstanding. The show is full of singing and acrobatics. They serve an excellent drinkable cup of soup followed by Fried Chicken, ham, macaroni and cheese, a biscuit, and a peach turnover. The sound system in the theater is excellent. There are several outstanding musical performances. The performers are all very talented making for an excellent afternoon. There are several dinner shows in Pigeon Forge but I always find the food served at the Dolly shows is a step above all of the others.

At the last minute we decided to go to this show. The show had a lot going on. It was a mix of trapeze, comedy and music. It was a Christmas Show so I was a bit confused. The service was outstanding, but sadly the food was ok. It is all you can eat, and they do a nice job getting the food to you. For $60 a person I would have thought the food would have been hot. The chicken was good as was the biscuit. This theater and show is changing to the Pirate Show after Christmas.

The only reason why this didnt get 5 stars is because the Santa claus was a generic imitation. For what the show cost, they should have the best santa in 5 states and should allow a meet and great with the kids.

My wife were walking through the parking lot on Thursday night, the 8th of October, when we saw a young man walking through the parking lot crying. My wife approached him to see what was troubling the guy and asked “what was wrong.” He stated “he was just fired right before Christmas.” She then told the guy she was sorry and gave him a hug and said everything would be okay, then asked what happened and why? He stated they had a card with their names on them that told us about tipping and how it works, he said “the card stated 15% for great service but have details and he had wrote on them what would be the dollar amount for 10-15-20 percentages. That people would ask what was 15% when they read the cards.” He said that he was fired for writing that on the card and his manager said “that by doing that he was cheating the guests.” I immediately said, “how so?, whether it says 15% or the dollar amount, it’s the same amount of money?” He even said that another employee told him he couldn’t do that and he didn’t have them to use that day, and asked his manager to check. But they did not care. They guy was really tore up. He said he didn’t understand how they could be so cold-hearted when he works there 6 days a week, even said he comes in on his days off a lot, to fire him before Christmas for this. I do not think Dolly Parton would approve of this and not do I. In one of Dolly’s Christmas songs, mind you this is a Christmas show we attended, she states that we should treat everyone the way Santa treats Rudolph and the world would be a better place. You guys sure didn’t treat this young man that way. It saddens me greatly and I don’t think this would reflect Dolly’s Christian principles. Was it really that serious that corrective action would be termination? Where is your heart and where is the caring that Dolly shows in her everyday life?
