Parts of the show was enjoyable. The advertising I saw said 50s, 60s and 70s, but mostly just 50s music and No 70s at all. I enjoyed the 60s stuff best. The food was OK - while it was HOT ... after the meat cooled not good at all.

We really enjoyed the step back into time with the Hit Parade. The singers were so personable and the staff was great! A special treat to hear some of the music my husband and I grew up with! Thank you!

We totally enjoyed the dinner and show. The theatre set up was awesome. Had tables facing stage but close enough to those in front and back of us to be friendly but still private. The MC was awesome and made it fun for all with roving kiss camera. The line to eat was organized so there was minimum wait time and food was like home cooking. Everyone who visits Smokies should give Hit Parade a priority. Great for all ages but especially seniors.

"BEST SHOW IN PIGEON FORGE"
July, 2018
I WAS SKEPTICAL ABOUT SHOW TITLED HIT PARADE, MY WIFE IS 73 AND I AM 77. I REALLY EXPECTED A SHOW WITH NEWER MUSIC AND WAS PLEASANTLY SUPRISED TO HEAR MUSIC FROM OUR ERA, THE TIME WE WERE GROWING UP, TEENGERS. THE SINGERS WERE OUTSTANDING, THE MUSIC EXILLERATING. WE THROUGHLY ENJOYED THE SHOW FROM THE OPENING CURTAIN TO THE END. THE SALUTE TO VETERANS AND SERVICE MEMBERS WAS UNDOBUTLY THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN ANYWHERE. WE HAVE BEEN TO SEVERAL SHOWS IN PIGEON FORGE, AND MANY IN BRANSON, MO. AND SEVERAL AT MYRTLE BEACH, SC. THIS SALUTE WAS THE BEST HANDS DOWN. THIS FEELING WAS MUTUAL WITH A FELLOW VIETNAM VETERAN ALONG WITH HIS WIFE, WHO ATTENDED THE SHOW WITH MY WIFE AND I. THE ONE THING I WOULD CHANGE IS WHEN ELVIS'S MEDLEY IS SUNG, I WOULD HAVE THE REST OF THE CAST DOING BACK-UP TO MAKE IT MORE LIKE THE ELVIS SONG. BY THE WAY, IN MY OPINION, THAT IS THE PRETTIEST SONG ELVIS EVER SANG. THE NEXT TIME WE ARE IN PIGEON FORGE, LOOK FOR US TO BE IN ATTENDANCE. GREAT SHOW.

"Not quite a hit."
July, 2018
When making reservations for our visit to Pigeon Forge, the Hit Parade was the first place I booked. Both my husband and I were looking forward to Memory Lane as we listened to the Golden Oldies. Well, the music was there, but it was tired as were most of the performers. They lacked the enthusiasm for this kind of act. After awhile, even the audience seemed tired, too. There were a few bright spots, but overall, the show was mediocre. This was a dinner show for us; unfortunately, we had seen a dinner show at the same place the night before. The meal was the same. A change would have been quite nice. Sorry, folks, but the show was a disappointment.

The dinner food was very good. The sweet tea is the best I’ve had. The show was awesome! We loved the tribute to our veterans. They also gave honor to Jesus Christ. We really loved that! So awesome. So great!

After totally enjoying the Soul of Motown show we decided to try Hit Parade. We purchased the dinner show package and received a discount since we had already purchased the Motown Tix. The buffet was better than I had expected. A fair amount of choices and really pretty tasty for a buffet. It is kind of jarring to realize that your waiter/waitress is also quite often one of the performers. Kind of funny to see Elvis serving Ice Tea and Cokes. The show itself was good but not one I would repeat. When compared to the Motown show it just did not stand out. The performers were good but not of the same calibre. I am glad we went, had a good time, nice value for our ticket money but just will not pay to see it again.

We have gone to this show before and it usually brings back memories. However, it seemed they cut down on the 60’s music a lot. The Elvis guy did a pretty good job. We think they have the best military tribute of all the shows we have seen. I can’t remember if they have always done gospel, but they did this year and it was very good. I would attend a gospel show if they did one! Songs included…I can’t believe I can remember this much…..From 1955-1959 Tutti Fruti, Que Sera, Sera Mack the Knife, Bye, Bye Love, Wake Up LiL Susie, Great Balls of Fire, Rockin Robin, Lollipop, All I Have to do is Dream, Stupid Cupid and Lipstick on Your Collar. From 1960-1964 Are You Lonesome Tonight, It’s His Kiss, One Fine Day, I Only Want to be With You, Chapel of Love, Leader of the Pack. From 1965-1969 California Dreamin’ , Mustang Sally, Aquarius, Sugar, Sugar, and Sweet Caroline. The gospel songs were I Can Only Imagine, Amazing Grace and Oh Happy Day. (I remembered most of the songs using a mental memory method but had to look up the dates.) I sort of wish they would progress through time instead of mixing them up throughout the night.
