Excellent night of entertainment. The meal was good. The entertainment was out of this world. It was nice of the entertainers to stay after the show and sign my daughter's dvd. The young lady who played the saxophone was mesmerizing.
Tip: Make sure you get there early, so you can enjoy your meal. Also be prepared to be entertained.

"Sound of Motown"

Due to some maintenance issues, we
actually saw the Motown show instead of America's Hit Parade. If The Hit Parade show is any better than the Motown show, then it would be 'out of this world' (because the Motown show was absolutely phenomenal). It was like actually being at a Temptations concert back in the 1960s!
Tip: Get ready to dance snd have fun!

Enjoyed the excellent first rate talent the singers exerted. Proud to see them honor the veterans. Songs of faith were very touching. Good show for families.
Tip: Just be prepared for an evening of excellent entertainment.

The entertainment value was excellent! There were many talented performers. The show was high energy, and very nostalgic. The tribute to the veterans was very inspiring. The food was not that great, although the service was excellent.
Tip: See if there's an option to just see the show and pay less for the tickets. Don't buy the meal unless you have to.

"Hit Parade Music a Real Hit"
June, 2016
The Music of the Hit Parade lived up to its promise and billing. The singers were professional and sounded like the original stars of the 50s and 60s. The tribute to our veterans was inspiring. I'd recommend the music show to everyone, it is a really nice family show. As for the food, well that's another story. The service was fine but the served it an hour before the show and not many were there. The food was second rate, a piece of meatloaf, some ordinary mashed potatoes, normal chicken tenders you'd find in any fast food restaurant and some concoction of carrots and peppers that weren't really good. The dessert was an apple or peach fritter, rather flat and something you'd find just above what you might find in a gas station. The unsweetened tea was okay but the sweetened tea was like water. It was really uncomfortable having those not eating coming in and sitting around us while we were finishing eating. There was no entertainingment during the dinner, nothing, just sitting there and eating a meal not up to par with what you'd expect for a dinner theater. They need to either follow the Dixie Stampede model or drop the dinner all together.
Tip: If you want a good show - G0 - If you want a good meal, eat before you go.

Not exactly what we were expecting but a good show and great value. We were not aware that we would be eating our meal mixed in with people that were not eating. It made for an awkward experience, but the show was great.
Tip: get there early and bring your appetite

Really enjoyed this show. Felt like you were back in the old days. One of the guys with blond/brown hair really sang his heart out and you could tell he really enjoyed his job-and we just loved watching him perform!

We really enjoyed their show in Pigeon Forge. This was our first time to visit their show in the Grand Majestic Theater. The theater is immaculate, clean and attractive. The performers all gave 100% and their costumes and choreography were spectacular. You could tell everyone enjoyed what they were doing because they were all smiling all the time. We were surprised to see they have a live band, too. The show covered all types of music from the 1940s to the present time. They included songs from all the popular groups of the 50s, 60s and some 70s, plus some patriotic and gospel medleys. We weren't able to get there in time for the buffet dinner, but the area where the buffet is served was very clean. The restrooms were spotless and the personnel selling tickets and refreshments were very helpful and friendly. The theater is very easy to find on the parkway in Pigeon Forge. Trust me, you won't be disappointed in the show!

"Bait and Switch"

Every review written before this date about Hit Parade is null and void. And don't trust the Grand Majestic Theater website either. As of this writing, they haven't updated it. Here is what is going on. The group of performers that normally put on this show were so good that they actually went on tour to New Zealand. So what management of the Grand Majestic Theater decided to do was have the Motown peformers sing some of the songs of the 50's and 60's. So until the world tour of "Hit Parade" is over, you are not going to see what you think you paid for. It's a completely different show. As to the substitute show itself, it really wasn't all that bad. The Motown performers put their Motown "twist" to the songs. But really, 5 Motown gentlemen singing California Dreaming by the Mama's and Papa's leaves something to be desired. This is not the fault of the performers, they did their best with music that is not their specialty. This is the management of the Grand Majestic pulling a bait and switch, and not having the courtesy of even announcing that the show has been changed. I'm not suggesting you not go, and am not suggesting you ask for a refund. I just think you should know that you are not seeing the "Hit Parade" that you thought you were seeing. One more thing, no veteran tribute that you read so much about in the reviews. Very disappointing.

"Show very good, food terrible!"

This show was good, but the food was terrible. Had a group of 47 there, most of them got sick on the meatloaf. including myself and the driver. I would go to show, but no dinner! They have a sign posted at every seat saying to leave $3.50 a person for tip. This is a turn off for me, there tip was included in our package and they were asking for another one!

"Extremely entertaining show!"

This show was pure entertainment from start to finish! Terrific vocal talent especially by Cory. Band was great as well. Many costume changes throughout show which definitely added to the entertainment value. Highly recommend this show! We are local so we see all area shows and this one stands out for sure. Can't speak to the meal since we did not partake in that feature.
