"Didn't have our reservation"
February, 2015
We arrived early, thank goodness. They didn't have our reservation so we got downgraded on our cabin. We had to take a smaller one but that was ok. The manager, Charlie, was a little rude to us a check in saying we should have called to verify our reservation. He said this happens to everyone that uses this site. On check out we didn't know how to check out Bc the office was closed so we had to call him again. He was rude on the phone and hung up on my while I was speaking. We won't be staying with them in the future.
Tip: Be prepared to figure things out on your own and don't ask questions Bc it completely inconveniences the manager.

"Relaxing cabin stay!"

We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin at this resort. It was very clean and spacious, and had a pool table. We paid the extra $30 fee to be able to use the jacuzzi on the porch. This resort was very relaxing. I used the workout equipment that was near the pool. It would have been nice if there were 3 and 5 pound weights available. The pool was enjoyable, but would have been even better if the jacuzzi heater at the pool was working. We enjoyed our stay and plan on staying at this resort again.

These are beautiful log cabins that allow you to get away. I liked the fact that we were able to check in after hours and not have to go to the front office until Monday. The location is close to Gatlinburg, the smoky mountain national park, rafting, horseback riding and Zip Lining.

"We didn't feel like guests..."

We rented two of the largest cabins they had. The setting was nice and the cabins were clean, but the check-in was something less than friendly. The woman checking us in seemed bothered that we were there and was almost to the point of being rude. She quickly explained the process and was clearly mad when asked her to repeat herself. No "thanks" or "welcome" of any kind. After checking in we opened the packet of information. There were so many sternly worded rules. Not only in the packet but posted all over the cabin. NO hanging towels or anything else from porch railings. NO marks on towels or you will be charged. There were rules on the wall, on the washer, on top of the refrigerator, and in the packet. Not to mention the inventory list of items in the cabin. I've stayed all over the world and never have I had to fill out an inventory list. Forks-8, knives-8, etc. With two cabins and kids we were terrified that we were going to misplace towels or forks or some of the other items on the INVENTORY in the other cabin. It just made us uncomfortable. If you want new towels during the week there will be a $35 charge. One of our cabins (that has room for at least 8) had one rocking chair on the porch. We called bc almost all cabins had 2. They never called back or brought another rocking chair. Not that I went there to watch TV but they were tiny and only one remote worked. The other had only one battery. The wifi was also spotty at best and not secured in any way. Overall we didn't feel like guests at all. We felt like we were invading someone else's space and they weren't happy about it. Don't get me wrong, the cabins are nice overall and it was a quiet area but I likely won't return.

My family and I traveled to the Smokey Mountains on a trip booked by Tourico Vacations. Our unit was a Gorgeous Stand alone 3 bedroom log cabin. We had a fully kitchen with granite countertops , fireplace, 2 huge bathrooms, our own hot tub, off the master bed on the rap around porch that over looked the "SMOKIES" . GREAT WAY TO TRAVEL! THANK YOU TOURICO VACATIONS!

"Beautiful cabin in great setting"

Due to the location of our cabin we were able to look out at the mountains, not all cabins had that advantage. We had cabin 169. It was at least 20 minutes to Gatlinburg but also as close to Pigeon Forge and Seveirville.
