"Didn't have our reservation"
Reviewed February, 2015
We arrived early, thank goodness. They didn't have our reservation so we got downgraded on our cabin. We had to take a smaller one but that was ok. The manager, Charlie, was a little rude to us a check in saying we should have called to verify our reservation. He said this happens to everyone that uses this site. On check out we didn't know how to check out Bc the office was closed so we had to call him again. He was rude on the phone and hung up on my while I was speaking. We won't be staying with them in the future.
Tip: Be prepared to figure things out on your own and don't ask questions Bc it completely inconveniences the manager.

We arrived after 6 p.m. on a Saturday because of traffic in Pigeon Forge. As a result, we got out keys from a lock box and there was no information about the area -- grocery stores, places to eat, etc. We had to wait until Monday to get any information. In our packet was an inventory list. We were told to fill out the inventory -- including number of forks, spoons, etc. It did not include things like TV remotes and hair dryers, which were missing. I have never had to do that at any place I have ever stayed! On arrival, one of the TVs didn't work, it was finally fixed on Tuesday. However, when they fixed it, whatever they did caused another one to not work. It was fixed on Wednesday. The TVs are about the size of a desktop computer screen and there is no channel listing in the unit so you have to figure out what channel is ABC, etc. The unit was ok, but could definitely use some updating. We did not use the Jacuzzi because the jets did not appear to be clean. There was some mold in the shower as well. It was a quiet location, unless you stayed in one of the condos on the ground floor and had someone above you. It sounded like they were moving furniture for our entire stay. The person in the office is only on site from 10-2 during the week, so it is difficult to try to see her if you are trying to sightsee in the area. When we did the final check in on Monday, she handed you a packet of information on the area for shows, etc, but no information on the National Park.

"Beautiful "

This resort was beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised at the care and cleanliness of our condo. The pool was under construction which was disappointing and not much else for the kids to do. The grounds manager was not very pleasant. We had two different cabins and every time he saw us on the porch relaxing together he asked how many people were in the cabin! This happened several times! Also they were very strict about 10 am check out. It was 10:03 and they came to ask when we were leaving. Overall grounds and living quarters were great. Staff was okay.

"Loved the Cabin!"

Our cabin, nestled right next to the national park boundary, worked great for or family. We lived the hot tub and pool table. The cabin was quite clean and spacious for our needs. The 10 am checkout time was a bit rushed but, overall, a great experience.

"nice condo"

I used my Global Discovery to stay at resort. Condo was really nice (cabins looked great too.) Only negative is if you are on the first floor, you really (really) hear the people above you. So, if steps aren't a problem, get a unit on the second floor. Pool wasn't open in March - but it looks beautiful. People who checked us in were nice. Resort is 10 miles up from Gatlinburg - not a problem for us as I preferred a place out of the business. Burned area did not impact us or any of our activities at all.

"Great place!"

We stayed in cabin 135 and it was very nice. Master bedroom has a whirlpool tub and a great shower in bathroom. Cabin was nicely furnished with cable tv with many channels. Weather was not the best, it snowed a couple of inches one night but was gone the next morning. Gatlinburg had lots of damage from the fires but they are building back. This in a nice place to stay.
