"Paper Thin Walls"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5

Front office Service = 5 out of 10. We were told to go across the street to use the restroom because there were no public restrooms at Timbers Lodge. Room - liked the location and the Loft. Disliked the paper thin walls because we could hear all the neighbors walking/running up and down the loft stairs when trying to sleep. There was an alarm clock in the main sleeping area but it was broken. The King size bed was stiff and hard. Amenities were worn and used: like from the 1980's The Free Breakfast was very basic: bagels, cereal, coffee, & juice.

"Good stay"

Room was good, but needs some updating. It is showing some age. Need to have a clock in the sleeping area. I had the "Do Not Disturb" on the door, but housekeeping left more towels and other amenities on the door. I really didn't need them since I was alone. Suggest that there should be a way to decline extra stuff, I wound up with two bags of extra stuff before I left. Loved having an apartment size refrigerator to use. Could have used some paper towels in the room for the kitchen area. Had to use the bathroom rags or towels.

"Decent place, cheap, not great house keeping"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

Great location and price. I normally stay in a better quality hotel so my standards might be a little high for this type of place but it was all I could find last minute. It did not have bedbugs and the bedding looked and smelled clean. It had a Keurig coffee maker but only had decaf coffee in the room. We ran out of toilet paper, the one bar of soap and coffee cups, creamer, etc. had to go to the grocery store to get all of that stuff that usually would be considered an amenity but house keeping never replaced anything except towels. Breakfast was impossible to get because very small area and lots of people. It doesn’t specify that it’s only continental breakfast. Did not have Wi-Fi the first whole day. Went to the front desk to inquire about but he said he was on it. However, all four of our iPhones and iPads could not connect. I suggested he reboot but because he was on he thought it must have been all 8 of our devices and not a reboot issue. We did get eventually get connected. This hotel is A good place to sleep and get dressed then go out and enjoy pigeon Forge. Not the kind of place you’d hang out. The guy at the front desk was very pleasant.

On our last morning we had a water leak from the upstairs shower that dripped to the floor below. Reported to front desk and they were sendilong maintenance up. The clock was a battery operated clock that didn't work. The lamp on the night stand needed replaced but it worked. Loved the log cabin feel of the place. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants and the track if you have kids.

"Second time"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

This was our second time staying at the hotel. We love it. We travel with our dog so its nice to find a clean pet friendly hotel. The only thing I could say is I wish we could have upgraded our room, but was told they were booked. I can tell you they wasnt. The parking lot was half empty our whole stay. But we will stay here again. Its a quite hotel.
