"Great Stay.."

Springhill Suites was one of the nicest places I have stayed in a while...clean, spacious, neat and well staffed..Breakfast was very good and there was always plenty of food. Very convenient location..Great experience!
Tip: Easy access to attractions, but off main road, so it was quiet and peaceful.

Typical Springhill Suites location. About a block off the main road through Pigeon Forge. Restaurants and attractions are a short drive with a few that are walkable. We needed to send and receive some faxes and print a few forms while we were there. The staff was great helping us with that! We are not big Pigeon Forge fans but would stay at this facility again if in the area. It is reasonably priced for the area and well maintained.

I just stayed here last night and was put in a room with a jacuzzi tub, nice. I noticed a dark line at one end of the tub. When I looked closer I saw that it was a line of dirt, etc. Just to be sure I rubbed it, sure was dirt. I have included pictures. I also was very disappointed in the security of the room. The dead bolt lock worked if the door was open, but when you closed the door and tried to lock it, it didn't work. I am also disappointed in the customer service. I sent a mail like this last night to the General Mgr and upon leaving I shared these issues with the front desk. No thanks, no sorry, just "I'll make maintenance aware of this." I did have a standard reply today back from GM saying if I want to call him and talk further...well I would think the Mgr would want to talk with me, not if I want to call him. Not good.

I was a chaperone for a 5th grade class and this is where we stayed. I can truly say this hotel and its staff is 1st class. They had everything organized and everyone was so courteous when we arrived and when departed. Thanks again for the hospitality!!!

We stayed here in April of 2016 and loved it. It was super clean...the staff was beyond excellent. So when we returned for a weekend in March 2017, because I am Marriott loyal and we had such a great experience before, it seemed a no brainer. Upon arrival we noticed the elevator floor was very dirty, but thought it was just something they had not had time to clean yet....just fyi...two days later when we checked out...same dirt still there. When walking into our room that had been reserved months before...we found the room to be facing the exact opposite direction than what we had requested, but again, we thought maybe it was just an oversight. We could let that slide...but there were cookie and potato chip crumbs all over the floor and four lights that were burned out. We let the front desk know. They did clean the floor and changed out two of the four lights. We left a note asking for extra towels. We did not receive them but did get two extra shampoos...lol. We requested a late check out but instead were told how terribly busy they were and how many rooms they had to clean. Just a complete 180 from what we had experienced before. It seemed we paid $200. a night for an experience that ranked with a small motel and would have been much less expensive and possibly much more pleasant. Also, what made my husband say we would not return....a long line for breakfast...spring break so it is expected...guests were happy and friendly...but we witnessed a staff member being rude and unfriendly to several people standing in line. Not at all the Marriott that had earned my loyalty.

I stayed here in mid March with my mother, 17 year old son, and 8 month old baby. The hotel is very clean. Construction was being done on the floor below us and we never ever heard anything. I really liked how this is a suite and we could utilize the microwave and fridge for baby bottles. I was undecided on whether we should stay at a hotel or rent a cabin. I've never been to this area and I'm so glad I decided on the hotel. We drove around into cabin areas and I was so scared. The roads to the cabins are extremely steep and narrow. This hotel offered a wonderful hot breakfast included in our stay with waffles, oatmeal, cereal, etc. It is also within walking distance to a Starbucks and a few restaurants. It is about 15 minutes into Gatlinburg which is where we spent most of our time. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.
