"Loved every minute, hated to leave this place!!!"
Reviewed February, 2016
Had a two bedroom condo, and I was so impressed. Each room had its own bathroom, we were located close to the indoor and outdoor pool so that was also a plus. The rooms were extremely clean and well maintained, we hated leaving them they were so nice. The hallways were quiet, the outdoor noise during the day was minimal, if any. Its also close to books a million, which my kids absolutely love, vanity fair outlet, rack room shoes and I believe there is a shoe carnival as well as Fuddruckers and a buffalo wild wings and less than a half mile (guesstimate) from Walmart, chick-fil-a, steak and shake and baskin robbins. I will definitely stay here again. The staff at the check in desk were extremely nice and helpful. They even called about 30 minutes after we got to the room to make sure the room was okay and that we had everything we needed, left the number to call them back if we had any problems whatsoever!!!! Talk about customer service!!!! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place!!!
Tip: Be prepared to love it!!!!!!!

"Overall Okay but many notable problems"
Reviewed March, 2015
Me and my family booked 3 separate rooms, one two-bedroom condo, one one-bedroom condo, and one queen sleeper studio. Guest Services was great with us and our room was spacious and very nice overall, especially for the price we paid. The trouble we had was in getting the DVD player to work with the TV,after fighting with it for an hour it turns out they had given us the wrong remote. They also had printed information telling us that there were DVD rentals available in the game rooms and after walking the whole hotel, we questioned the front desk and found out that that was no longer the case. Also, there were only a couple luggage carts available on the whole property and they were impossible to get ahold of, they were never returned and both, checking in and out, we had to make several long trips to the car and back. Additionally the room we were given was a single locked door that opened to two more locked doors (A and B), B was not part of our party so every time someone knocked on the outer we didnt know if it was for us or them and when you stepped out to answer you would get locked out of the inner if you didnt have your key on you, very frustrating. Lastly, our room was impossible to cool to a comfortable temperature. The halls were kept hot at 74 degrees and even with our thermostat set to 68(the lowest it would go) it never cooled and we were sweating all night. My father in law had a horrible experience in his room, his door would not close correctly and had to be forcefully opened creating a loud screech every time. It took the maintenance people over a day to get it fixed after several attempts to fix it but just making it worse. He also had numerous stinkbugs crawling about his room throughout the visit. The elevators at the property are also fidgety, we got stuck in one for several minutes and the alarm went off before it started up again, scared everyone in it real good. For the most part the hotel staff was friendly but the whole hotel just has a lot of small problems that lead to one overall uncomfortable and stressful situation.

"Great place for families!!"

I took my 5 year old son here for his spring break. Very clean, staff was very friendly except for a young attend watching over the outside pool area. My son had a blast playing in the outside heated pool and lazy river. The location is great! They also had movie time pool side one night. We had went to take advantage of our season passes to Dollywood but he loved the water park so much he didn't want to leave the hotel. We finally went to Dollywood our last day there. Had a Geat time here with my little one.

"Great Time at a Great Value!!!"

This place is Wonderful!!! My family and I took our first vacation last week and The Resort and its staff helped make it spectacular. From the very moment of check in where Greg and Allie were not only efficient with my reservation, but helpful in giving advise on the area and were I could take the family for food and entertainment. They also provided coupons to places to help with our budgeting and the best times to go to avoid traffic. Our room was great! The full kitchen with utensils helped so much! We were able to cook a couple of times instead of going out to eat due to being exhausted from 3 hours at the pools. The rooms were not only clean and cozy, but decorated to make it feel more like home instead of a hotel room. The pools are great! My oldest os 11 and my youngest is 3 and they had something for all of them. My only suggestion for the adults is not to underestimate the blue slide. It is fast and shoot you out without remorse! This is not a bad thing, but you have been warned. Also the putt putt greens were good. For my kids age it was just right and honestly saved me over $50 from taking them to a themed one that we would have spent the same amount of time at. Overall, we will be back. We started planning our next vacation on our drive home and basically were are going to one dinner show, but mostly going to be staying at the hotel.

"Just needed a pool for a few hours."
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed May 28, 2016 NEW

During this trip to the area, we needed a pool for the kids. We visited the property on May 24th and viewed the 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom. We asked if it was possible to have guests that can visit us at the property and use the pool with us (like other places you may book a room, you can have guests to visit you. those visiting might like the property and rent there themselves one day). We were told no. Everyone using the amenities had to be 'registered' guests. We went with the 2 bedroom to not have any issues that we only used from around 3 p.m. and checked out at around 11 p.m. There was no 'registration' of guests names taken. All of which cost $170 (not one bed was slept in). And the 1 bedroom would have been $130. Alie wondered why we were checking out so soon from check-in. She did go over and beyond and give us all of the booklets that they had available for discounts in the area. I only received a paper with the restaurants that you get 10% off, a deck of cards, and a key chain when we checked in. I left with a lot of stuff at check out that night (though a note was put in the system to check us out in the a.m.) We were not able to use the pool the next day until 11 p.m. because we were leaving the area anyway. Thanks to Alie for explaining the pool key option to me in more detail. The kids did enjoy themselves for the few hours we were there. Will possibly consider staying the next time. Or just stay in cabins like we usually do and pay admission to use the indoor poor area at the Westgate Resort in Gatlinburg (it would have cost us only $120 versus $170). If having everything in one place is what you are looking for, this will be the place for you. Shops are all around and Walmart is right down the road.

We travel to Pigeon Forge twice a year and we will only stay here. They are super nice and always willing to help and answer questions. Sally at the front desk is AMAZING!!! She went above and beyond for us making sure we had everything we needed, any discount tickets to shows, coupons to the outlets and different places. We also had a great time talking to Chris at the pool. He is very nice and even though he was taking the time talking to me while my son played he was always watching the pool area to make sure people were safe. Great staff!
