"Mini-vacation with friends"

The hotel was very clean and quiet. It is a little bit of a drive to get to the attractions and shops from here but we wanted quiet and not to be in the "heart" of everything. We only stayed one night and it was (almost) perfect. At other hotels I have stayed at the offer a continental breakfast if it ends at 10:00 am you can still at least get a piece of fruit or a muffin if you arrive at 10:05 am. Not here. We arrived no more than 5 minutes after it ended (yes, I realize this is our fault) and everything except for watered down juice was gone.
Tip: If you like a snack in the evenings while in the room bring your own!

"What a great staff"

I want to thank the staff at Ramada for going above and beyond to make our staff enjoyable. When we had trouble connecting to the wifi they didn't say sorry, the manager came to our room to make sure all of our devices were working to our satisfaction. I am a small business owner and must work occasionally when on vacation. So internet is a major concern for me. For the manager to come to our room and make sure we were taken care of says a lot about this staff. We did continue to have issues on and off with the internet but the manager had apologized and explained that they were due for an upgrade to their service. Their care made it ok that we had a few issues. And thankfully I never needed to work on this vacation and could truly enjoy some time away. Watching the fireworks from Dollywood while in the pool with my daughter each night made for a great end to the day.

For the price I suppose it's a good deal. The rooms appear clean. The AC worked but looked like it was on its last leg. The breakfast was not very good at all. They didn't even have water. The WIFI was absolutely horrible. It was so slow that it never did load the page.

We have been to this hotel 3 times now and its usually pretty good. This time had a few issues. Most importantly the room smelled terrible of smoke. We had a room with a separate bedroom and that bedroom smelled so bad. The porch was filthy, used plastic spoons and forks outside on porch. No one had looked out there. They said we would have a crib in our room and we did not. He brought it pretty quick when we called but no sheets for it so we used ours from our bed.

The hotel was on the strip with many others. No Wi-Fi internet as listed and the front desk clerk told me the manager will be back in the morning to look into the issue. Non-smoking room located immediately across from the outdoor smoking area so the odor was very noticeable

"Will not stay again"

We stayed four nights and wifi did not work the entire time. When we mentioned it to the manager, his response was "the good news is - we have 3 companies giving us a quote". That might have been good news for the hotel, but it didn't help me. The bathtub had a weak spot in it, I was afraid I was going to fall through. The night stand looked like a dog had chewed all four corners. The bed was not comfortable. They need to do some updating. The pool was nice though.
