"Mini-vacation with friends"

The hotel was very clean and quiet. It is a little bit of a drive to get to the attractions and shops from here but we wanted quiet and not to be in the "heart" of everything. We only stayed one night and it was (almost) perfect. At other hotels I have stayed at the offer a continental breakfast if it ends at 10:00 am you can still at least get a piece of fruit or a muffin if you arrive at 10:05 am. Not here. We arrived no more than 5 minutes after it ended (yes, I realize this is our fault) and everything except for watered down juice was gone.

We went through a rental agency to get reservation. It was not at all like we were promised. I wanted handicap. Although I was on first floor, these rooms are not handicap friendly. No bars to hold on to in bathroom. Toilet is way to low. I wanted a room with spa. They had some but was upstairs and wanted to charge more money. I paid way over the amount this hotel is worth. The breakfast was small area and very hard to get through. Wasn't a good selection. Did have pool and little spa outside. However, it was clean and the staff was awfully nice.

Room cleaning schedules very inconvenient. Have a cleaning schedule that the workers can stick to. Some times the room was cleaned around 10AM at other times the workers came by at 4 PM or later. While I want to have clean towels, vacuuming done, etc. I want to be able to settle down after cleaning is done and know that I won't be disturbed by a cleaning person/worker.

Everything suited us fine at this motel. I did mention I would like to get a handicap room on first floor the next time. It was really a great location for us to ride the trolley to LeConte Center for the NQC. It was great that our motel had a trolley stop with a roof over it because it rained a lot that week. And most important it was in our price range.Ruth from Pennsylvania

My family and I have stayed three times at this establishment, each time in January. The staff is very friendly, the rooms very clean and comfortorable. If you stay in the winter the mountain behind the Ramada is beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. I plan to come back January of 2019. -Craig
