Description

from Oak Tree Lodge
Check-In: 4:00pm Check-Out: 11:00am
Oak Tree Lodge is your choice for hotel lodging in the Pigeon Forge area with its proximity to fine restaurants, great attractions, shows and being across the street from Tanger Outlet mall doesn't hurt either. But there is more to a great hotel than location, and at Oak Tree Lodge you’ll find all the best amenities like an indoor pool and outdoor pool with slide, an on site convention center, free deluxe continental breakfast and warm friendly hospitality from our staff.

Our hotel setting among horse pastures and the rolling hills of the Smoky Mountains truly sets us apart from all the run of the mill main street hotels. You actually look out your balcony and can see a mare and her foal running in the adjacent pasture.

Oak Tree Lodge is the perfect place for your next family vacation, family reunion, or corporate retreat. Guests can easily walk to the outlet shopping, mini golf at Ripley's or fine restaurants or take the trolley from our front to Dollywood or the Great Smoky Mountains. Fun and excitement are just steps away, so park the car and enjoy!

We offer large rooms with refrigerator and microwave, and some suites have fireplaces and Jacuzzis for that extra special getaway. At Oak Tree lodge you’ll see we're more about a place to stay than a place to spend the night. We want to be your choice for Smoky Mountain lodging.

This hotel was great for the budget traveller. Far enough away from the major traffic jams, yet close enough to lots of cool places. Breakfast was great...saved a lot of money eating there every morning. Most comfortable beds we've ever had in a hotel. Loved the balcony. Inside pool a little cold, but pools were nice. Only thing missing was a hot tub...lol.

"Family friendly lodging!"
June, 2016
This was our first trip to Pigeon Forge and the Oak Tree Lodge helped us to have a wonderful visit! The hotel staff were very friendly upon our arrival and even had free cookies available upon check-in. The rooms were very nice, we enjoyed sitting out on the little balcony. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have a fridge and microwave. The continental breakfast was very tasty--my 5 year old loved the Belgian waffles! There were two pools available. The outdoor pool had more activities, but the indoor pool was quieter. Also loved the free arcade games!! There was one incident of noisy neighbors, but the front desk was quick to correct the situation. The wifi wasn't the best, but there was so much to keep our family entertained that we didn't miss it. The hotel might not have all the modern conveniences, but it was perfect for our little family. We will definitely visit again!

Tip: Call the hotel to check their deals against any online deals. A couple of our online deals were better, but then some of the hotel's specials were better than online.

We stayed here July 3rd-7th what a nice place to stay. Housekeeping is great and super nice, breakfast was good, the swimming pool outdoor was great and the indoor pool could’ve used some cleaning. The room was very roomy and clean. The bathroom was very spacious which is a big plus. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. My only downfall about this place is it needs a hot tub other than that this place is amazing and I’ll be staying again with my family.

"This spot turned out to be a blessing!"

This was a nice place for us to stay and we enjoyed it very much. It's right on the main drag, convenient access and stoplights near by, so you don't have to drive a long way to get turned around if you're heading in the opposite direction. Room was big and nice, housekeeping does a great job, very clean and front-desk staff were nice and helpful. This is a motel/hotel combination, some rooms have external doors (motel-style), some open to a hallway. We were blessed (thank your Lord) to find this place late on our arrival night after another spot did not work out, and got a hotel-style room, which is what we wanted, and on the ground floor. Plenty of parking, and our room had a small patio from which we could watch the horses and horseback riding and the occasional zip-liner. Waffles and biscuits for breakfast were good, as was the apple juice! We could hear people running upstairs at times, a little bit of noise, but we were usually so tired and slept so well it was not really a factor. There are 2 pools, one inside and one outside. We tried neither, but the outside pool had some water-related items for splashing around (water running off a big umbrella, some buckets that poured water out, and a slide), which looked fun. I would recommend this hotel and if we go back to this area, would be happy to stay here again.

The staff was helpful from the beginning when making reservations. Room was clean and comfortable, a/c worked GREAT! Nice balcony for sitting in the evening. This was a great option for convenience etc. for a short two night stay where there is a lot of time spent outside of the room. Breakfast area was small but very clean with a good selection. Special mention again of staff, including Kristy, who were very pleasant and informative.

We decided to stay here for the pool area for the kids. They did enjoy themselves, other than the slide that they had to push themselves down and jump off the end. There's no slickness to it. The breakfast room is extremely small. On the second morning we ended up going someplace to eat so we didn't have to fight the mess. The food was good though. On our second night our smoke detector started chirping at 3:30 in the morning. Thankfully it was removed from the room by maintenance quickly. To find out it was the 2nd of the night doing that. Maybe batteries should be changed more regularly. The biggest complaint is after swimming in the indoor pool our hair feels like straw. I have washed and conditioned mine and my girls' hair three times so far with no luck getting back to normal. I've never experienced this and having very long hair, along with girls with long hair this has become a nightmare.
