Description

from Oak Tree Lodge
Check-In: 4:00pm Check-Out: 11:00am
Oak Tree Lodge is your choice for hotel lodging in the Pigeon Forge area with its proximity to fine restaurants, great attractions, shows and being across the street from Tanger Outlet mall doesn't hurt either. But there is more to a great hotel than location, and at Oak Tree Lodge you’ll find all the best amenities like an indoor pool and outdoor pool with slide, an on site convention center, free deluxe continental breakfast and warm friendly hospitality from our staff.

Our hotel setting among horse pastures and the rolling hills of the Smoky Mountains truly sets us apart from all the run of the mill main street hotels. You actually look out your balcony and can see a mare and her foal running in the adjacent pasture.

Oak Tree Lodge is the perfect place for your next family vacation, family reunion, or corporate retreat. Guests can easily walk to the outlet shopping, mini golf at Ripley's or fine restaurants or take the trolley from our front to Dollywood or the Great Smoky Mountains. Fun and excitement are just steps away, so park the car and enjoy!

We offer large rooms with refrigerator and microwave, and some suites have fireplaces and Jacuzzis for that extra special getaway. At Oak Tree lodge you’ll see we're more about a place to stay than a place to spend the night. We want to be your choice for Smoky Mountain lodging.

"Breakfast bust"

The hotel was ok. The room had a funky, damp smell. The breakfast room was entirely too small for a hotel this size.

"Worst Experience Ever"
September, 2018 NEW
My daughter was born with a brain condition called Schizencephaly. She has had 14 surgeries and doctors told us her condition is so rare they don’t know what the future will look like. They said she would likely live to be 7. Well she recently turned 9, so of course every year for her birthday we do something major to celebrate her and all she has overcome. This year we spent close to 500 gathering all the cousins and buying tickets to the Dixie Stampede along with a night in a hotel. My little girl had no sweat glands, requires sleep apnea machine for sleepin, and has seizures triggered by extreme heat so needless to say we don’t get to travel often & this was a big time for our family. We have bank accounts associated with one state and we where traveling out of State which alway prompts our card to get declined for “security” until we call the fraud line and let the bank know it’s us. Since we had already paid for the room and our dinner we withdrew all other funds and traveled with only cash thinking we where avoiding the hassle of dealing with the bank. Everything was great until after dinner when we just really needed to rest and get the kids out of the car. It was medicine time for our daughter and want should have been a simple check in turned into over 2 hours of sitting in the Walmart parking lot next to the hotel room. You see there’s a policy that the hotel has that was never discussed with us, not even in the fine print. The policy states that you must have a major credit card with $150 for them to hold. It was a Sunday so finding a bank and putting the cash back in was not an option. The hotel clerk was unsympathetic and absolutely refused to take the 150$ in cash. The manager who owns several other hotels acknowledged that it wasn’t in the fine print and blamed reserve direct for that. And basically we where in a position where we had to sleep in the car or drive all the way home. They didn’t care that my child NEEDED to lay down, they didn’t care that I would have no power to hook up her machine they just didn’t. After 2 hours and feeling completely devastated an angel on the other end of the phone at Reserve Direct saved my daughters birthday by using her OWN personal card to secure the room to which we will forever be grateful and I wish I knew who she was! I will NEVER reserve at Oak Lodge again and am in the process of many complaints including the BBB and all social media groups to make sure that no one else stays in Oak Tree or any of the properties owned by a man who is over ridden with GREED so badly he didn’t realize how much of a gift EVERY day is.

"Nice staff!"
August, 2018
Staff was nice. Rooms were bug free! I really check, I remove sheets and take mattresses off beds. So two complaints, one of the rooms smelt musty, probably is the carpet or the heat/AC unit and the internet is very problematic and I had to use my mobile hotspot.
Other than that the stay and rooms are decent.. mind you this is not a luxury resort.

While the pictures are cozy and the breakfast is good, also the people are pleasant, not the most delightful, like you want to see when your on vaca, I am displeased. To start with I opened the door to the room and smelled like urine, it was mold I discovered. Now we had kids and was tired and wanting to go eat and see the town, so I had Lysol and sprayed the areas down and was not in a position to move rooms or hotels. I went through Wyndham and didn’t know that this was really just an old hotel. So be aware. It’s a nice place but has old issues.

We really enjoy staying here. We've been here 8 or 9 times and plan on returning. Excellent location, clean, and great pool area. Nothing to complain about. If I had to make a complaint, it would be about the breakfast/breakfast area but nothing too shabby.

Very nice pool outdoor, very kid friendly and nice indoor pool, a great full breakfast served every morning, a good variety of food,, nice area to eat outside and enjoy the morning air. Front desk is very nice anything you ask them they will make it a priority to do. Easy access in and out, Tanger outlets are across from the motel,Prices are very reasonable. Near Titanic and most of the musical show places.

The room was clean and comfortable. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Everything we wanted to do was right there. Will be staying again. Very comfortable beds also. Plenty of parking and the outside little patios are nice. The little breakfast area is small but good for a little lite one. No complaints.
