"Small and old"
August, 2016
The room was said to sleep 5 adults. However, there were only two queen sized beds with only room enough to block the door into the room with a roll away bed. You actually had to fold the extra bed up to get out of the room. Everything was extremely old, but clean. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work, it only heated the air. The outlets in the entire room were all wore out where the plugs fell out of them.

"Good Atmosphere"
August, 2016
My family of two kids 5 and 4, wife and I loved the Hotel. Everywhere in town was convenient, and the staff was friendly and helpful. At night it was peaceful and during the day it was relaxing. The pools both in and out were clean and great for the age of my kids. I would not only stay here again I will tell all my friends to stay here.

This motel was very clean. The hosts were so down south friendly. Was a safe place for the kiddos to be. We were right on the main drag could wslk to many restaurants and activities. Also enjoyed the Dollywood fireworks every night from the outdoor pool. This is a place I would recommend to anyone.

Hotel rooms were a bit dated but overall clean and everything functioned well. Indoor and outdoor pools and saunas. Ample parking. Free continental breakfast (oatmeal, donuts, etc....no eggs, bacon or things of that nature). Walking distance of several area restaurants and across from the Dixie Stampede. Every member of the staff I encountered was super friendly. I booked through hotels.com, which showed queen beds but received double. Also beds were a bit firm for me and I found them uncomfortable. Rest of family slept soundly though! Though I will not be booking again, due to my own personal comfort level with the beds, I would recommend it to others!

"Great Little Stay"

The NormaDan is one of the oldest motels in Pigeon Forge and in some parts of the facility, it shows. However if you are like my family and don't put much stock in that, your stay here will be nice! This has to be one of the cleanest motels I have ever stayed in. I was beyond impressed with the attention our room and the rest of the faciity I saw received, The pools were well maintained as well. I will gladly return here again and again as long as the motel stays in the same family and is run as well as it currently is. I highly recommend staying at the NormaDan! Complimentary breakfast was your choice of Krispykreme donuts, bagels, waffles or a variety of cereals along with coffee. My family was able to find something for everyone, including the baby. The housekeeping service was excellent as well. Our autistic son was worried that his teddy bear would be disposed of so he left them a note on a napkin to please not disturb him (the bear) as he was just sleeping. The housekeeping team replied in a note that they had found "Beary" awake and asked him for permission to make the bed. They then made a towel dog and said that it was the bear's watchdog so that he could go back to sleep without being disturbed. YOU WON'T GET THAT TYPE OF SERVICE ANYWHERE ELSE! The only problem I have is that since it is an older building, the doors are not very wide for a wheelchair to pass through unless you have someone pushing you and you have your arms out of the way. They do have a handicap room, however it was already booked during out stay, The staff was kind enough to provide a shower chair to assist me, however the bathroom was too small for my chair to fit into to allow me to get to the shower without help. If any improvement could be made in the future, it would be to either provide more handicap rooms or widen the doors in several of the rooms in order to accommodate those patrons in wheelchairs.
