"Small and old"
Reviewed August, 2016
The room was said to sleep 5 adults. However, there were only two queen sized beds with only room enough to block the door into the room with a roll away bed. You actually had to fold the extra bed up to get out of the room. Everything was extremely old, but clean. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work, it only heated the air. The outlets in the entire room were all wore out where the plugs fell out of them.

"Good Atmosphere"
Reviewed August, 2016
My family of two kids 5 and 4, wife and I loved the Hotel. Everywhere in town was convenient, and the staff was friendly and helpful. At night it was peaceful and during the day it was relaxing. The pools both in and out were clean and great for the age of my kids. I would not only stay here again I will tell all my friends to stay here.
Tip: May not be fully up to date but worth every dime

"Great hosts"
Reviewed June, 2016
This motel was very clean. The hosts were so down south friendly. Was a safe place for the kiddos to be. We were right on the main drag could wslk to many restaurants and activities. Also enjoyed the Dollywood fireworks every night from the outdoor pool. This is a place I would recommend to anyone.
Tip: It is close to everything. Attractions, grocery store, and restaurants

We slept in a king size bed and it was very uncomfortable. The mattress was hard and cheap. The room had a fire place and was clean. The breakfast selection was very poor. The pool and jacuzzi was very nice.

"Family Owned Motel"

We just stayed a Norma Dan Motel on Labor Day weekend, had a great time. The Motel is very clean (even though its an older motel) the staff are great and very friendly it was like walking into your family’s house that warm feeling you get. Pools are great inside & outside pools, breakfast is okay, they have cereals, boiled eggs, yogurt, doughnuts and toaster waffles ( it would be nice if they had a waffle iron). Great location across the street from Dixie Stampede and next to Cracker Barrel.

"New place"

We have been coming to the Smokies for 26 years & have always stayed in Gatlinburg. Tried to make reservations for the same place of 25 years to be told the place was tore down. I googled places in Pigeon Forge due to the fact that we actually spent more time here than in Gatlinburg. Thats when we found the Norma Dan. What a great place that is very clean, friendly employees & great service. A very nice indoor & outdoor pool as well as a picnic area & grill. Our room had a balcony with rocking chairs facing the main road where we watched traffic & was surprised by a fireworks show from Dollywood. We have found a forever home away from home! I highly recommend this place to everyone. Oh! I forgot, they have continental breakfast everyday as well as a fridge, microwave, & coffee maker in each room. You wont be disappointed by staying here.

Very clean and all of the staff from front desk to cleaning staff were very friendly. It is located close to food and attractions and on top of all that.....the prices were great. I also loved the fact that it is American owned.
