My wife and me booked 3 nights in Gatlinburg, and decided to go up one day earlier. After reading the reviews on Margaritaville inn we decided to stay here, best choice we could have made.. this place is Great, super clean close to Margaritaville Island And resturants.. the staff on checkin was great. The king room, one of the cheapest was bigger than any other hotel we have stayed in without it being a suite..The bed was comfortable, bigger tv than any other hotel I've stayed in...I went down for breakfast the next morning it was good with bacon, eggs and biscuits not your average free breakfast. .. upon check out we met 2 of the best staff members I've had the pleasure to deal with... Tina and Bhumi, after a couple minutes I felt like I had known them for years... If we hadn't already paid our hotel in Gatlinburg with a no cancel clause, we would have stayed here the rest of the week... My wife and me both decided that from now on we will be staying here at Margaritaville Island Inn instead of Gatlinburg, and we have been going to Gatlinburg for 38 years. .Thanks again Bhumi and Tina for the hospitality and we will be back in February. ..

We had an Island view double queen room. The atmosphere was great - the color scheme was relaxing. The view was great. The hotel is 100% smoke free - there is an actual smoking area out in the parking lot away from the hotel. This room had a lot of small things that made it very functional. There were electrical plugs and usb charging ports between the beds, under the TV and on the lamp (on the desk under the TV). The alarm radio is an I-Home, so there are also charging ports for iphones. You could see the time from both sides and the front. There is an actual coat rack on the wall where you walk in. So you don't have to use the closet hangers for coats. There were many channels to choose from - you get HBO, but we only had one channel because HBO and the cable company were "in talks". There is a rolling desk (which fits under the bigger desk) and chair. This was nice so you could use the "top" desk for sitting things on and you could roll out the smaller desk and chair to write or eat on. Result "extra counter space" without having to move items around. There is an actual thermostat on the wall instead of the temperature controlling coming from the window unit. The beds are pretty comfortable. Not too hard, not too soft. My back did not hurt and I like soft beds. Each bed has four pillows to choose from, they all felt different to me - from fluffy to flat. We had a chair in the corner under a light and a chair at the desk (like an office chair) so we didn't have to just sit on the beds. The room was not big, but we weren't in there that much so it wasn't a big deal for us. The balcony had two chairs and a table. We were in 619 - at the end of the hall and sandwiched between housekeeping and the stairs. Our room is pretty quiet, but we could hear the people above us walking around. When we were walking down the hall, you could hear the TV's and people talking inside their rooms (with doors closed), so it is not the quietest hotel. I could hear the trucks over at the Island in the mornings through the balcony door and windows. It didn't bother me, but I could hear it. There was a keurig coffee machine with supplied regular and decaf for it. One day they also left tea. Housekeeping was awesome, replenished everything and kept the room very fresh and clean. The bathroom had separate hooks for your towels which was much more efficient than a long rack holder. My only complaint in the bathroom was the mirror - and this is due to putting on makeup and my height. The mirror has a light all the way around it. I am only 5'2 and when I leaned over the counter to put my makeup on I was looking at the light at the bottom of the mirror. So, if you like to see up close when putting your makeup on, you might want to take a hand held or mirror with a stand. The counter has a shelf in front of the mirror, I could have set a mirror on that shelf and it would have been perfect - it comes out a couple of inches in front of the mirror. I took a picture of the mirror and where the shelf is. If I stay here again, I will bring one. Free hot breakfast from 6-10: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, bagels, muffins, toast, make your pancakes or waffles, cereals, juices, milk, great coffee. All of the food was good and hot. There was a pretty big place to eat and it was kept very clean and neat. The food was replenished, so it was fresh. There is an indoor and outdoor pool. There is a fire outside you can sit around. There is a small exercise room also. There is parking around the hotel and additional parking in back across a small road - it is gated off for guests only - you get a code to get in. This hotel is at a very busy red light due to it being the entrance for "the Island" from the parkway. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our check in was very efficient and quick. We arrived a few hours before check in time, but were allowed to go ahead and check in because our room was ready. We were going to check out on a Sunday, however, Nashville, TN received an ice forecast (for Sunday) early Saturday afternoon. We knew about the major snow/ice warning for North Carolina and Arkansas - Nashville was only suppose to get a little snow. We had a pet sitter and needed to make sure we could get home by Sunday. With the new ice forecast, we weren't sure how the roads would be. When the forecast changed early Saturday afternoon, we packed and checked out. Unfortunately it was a couple of hours past check out time. We had to pay for the entire day. She said if we had of checked out by check out time we would not have had to pay for the entire day. If we would have known a little earlier and asked for a late checkout, it might have been a two hour grace and we wouldn't have been late. Luckily we saw the nice housekeeping lady on our way out, so she didn't waste time just touching up the room. So, I do recommend this hotel. It was great!

I came to Pigeon Forge to attend Yama-Con last weekend and chose this inn due to its proximity to the venue; Yama-Con was at the LeConte Center, which is also part of the Island. I have absolutely no complaints about my stay. The inn is beautiful, the room was fully stocked and spacious, and the overall decor really made me feel like I was on a tropical vacation! This place has complimentary breakfast as well, which is always a plus for me due to how convenient it is. Really helps when you're in a hurry in the morning, and it's delicious and filling. I cannot stress enough how kind and attentive the housekeeping staff was. Every one always had a smile and a hello, making me feel even more welcome. Ginger, who took care of my room every morning, was incredibly friendly and always asked what I needed of housekeeping before beginning her routine. She was the embodiment of the friendly atmosphere this place is going for. From the moment I walked in to the moment I checked out with Carla, the receptionist on duty that morning, I felt relaxed and welcome. I look forward to my next stay here.
