Really neat atmosphere! It is a large resort, so expect some walking. The staff was excellent all around, very helpful. Our room was large, we stayed in a one bedroom suite. We can't wait for an opportunity to come back!

Beautiful decor and super-friendly staff. We had a double queen village view room. Very spacious, and I love that there is no carpet in the room, as I’m always concerned about cleanliness/germs. The only drawback was all of the construction, but that won’t keep us from returning!

I checked into this beautiful hotel very late last night, I didn’t have a reservation so I spoke with the front desk person named Cailin, she was truly amazing, helpful, kind, very professional! The rooms are a little piece of Paradise but this young lady at the front desk Cailin treated me & my family like Rock Star’s! I definitely recommend this wonderful hotel! 5-Stars!

After wanting to stay here since it's opening, we were fortunate enough to get a room at the last minute due to a cancellation. We were in a double queen village view room, room #228. We could view the Island Sky Wheel from our balcony, which was a treat. Pros: Every employee we interacted with was very nice. The valet guys were super friendly and polite. We loved being able to walk around the Island and over to the Crime Museum without worrying about finding parking when we returned. The room was large. The beds were on the hard side, but still comfortable. I loved the fireplace in the room. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would definitely return, although there are a few negatives. Cons: Our room could have been cleaner. The floor was dirty. Since the floors are not carpeted, we could see, and feel, dirt on the floor. The doors onto the balcony were covered in fingerprints. Our balcony was right next to/connected to the balcony of the room next door. I did not see any others like that. Also, be prepared for a very long walk to your room. When making the reservation, I asked about the pool and was told that it was heated and was open. However, when I took my daughter to the pool, we found signs on the doors indicating it was closed due to seasonal deck repairs. That was a big disappointment. If you are an early sleeper, you could be bothered by the sound of people visiting The Island. Staying in a River View would probably be best for you. We enjoyed the atmosphere. Unfortunately The Island Shops all closed down at 9pm. We will definitely return again. Hopefully the next room will be cleaner.

So, we stayed for the first time on a Winterfest promotion. Never been to Pigeon Forge before and coming in during the Winterfest is a fun thing; colorful lights everywhere at night and the Margaritaville Island Hotel had lights outside which made it a pleasure to drive up to. We had a King River view with a small balcony; room R219. Very spacious, gas fireplace and some kitchen amenities. We made non-blended margaritas right there in the room. I will say though, the lower the room number, the LONGER the walk from the main lobby. The rooms are spread out across the second floor above the shops located on The Island so ask for a closer room if mobility is an issue. Parking is across the river; we did valet one night and left early the next morning. The valet wasn't available but the front desk had the key available right away for us. All employees we came across were super friendly and helpful. The lobby had a large fireplace with a roaring fire each night and that was a pleasant place to have a drink. The fireplace outside was ringed with seating and weather permitting that too was a great place to sit and people-watch. The male bartender in the Latitudes Bar was super friendly and helpful with a couple questions we had. If I could make a suggestion....please shampoo the hallway carpet. Its taken a beating with obvious stains. The housekeeping everywhere else though was really really clean. A really nice experience at the hotel, and we would definately return again..

We stayed at Margaritaville for a long weekend and had a great time! The rooms are outstanding and very spacious as well as clean. Everything was new. Loved the fireplace in the room and the blender. The shower was so amazing that even our 3 and 4 year-olds approved. Lots to do around the hotel that is all within walking distance. We highly recommend this hotel!
