"Disappointed"
August, 2016
They advertised WiFi which basically only worked in our room sporadically. I am mean basically hardly at all. The pool was disgustingly gross. My kids said it was oily with hair all in it. The breakfast was eatble but eggs and sausage were not very appetizing. No fruit choices. Most of the staff was accommodating with the exception a rude night shift clerk Laura who hung up on me when I complained about the WiFi not working. I wouldn't stay there again.

"Clean and Convenient"
August, 2016
This was our first time at Island Drive Lodge. It was clean and very convenient. We were able to walk to Paula Deans and the Island, also to other shops and the Dixie Stampede and did not have to worry about parking. Nothing fancy, but it serves the purpose

"Nothing to brag about but ok"
July, 2016
We had 4 people in our room. We had to go to the front desk every evening and ask for a fourth towel. so everyone would have a clean towel for showers. Then my daughter left her teddy bear in the room when we checked out. Took us 4 calls to them after we got home to get answer if they had found it. They finally said yes. But it's been 2 weeks and just heard from someone to mail it to us for $14.

"Misdirection Island Drive Lodge, Pigeon Forge, TN"
August, 2015
The hotel is rather ran down and the pool is s joke, but the location is right on the main strip. However, my complaint is not on the hotel, rather how they conduct business with the local attractions. They sold me the wrong package to Dollywood, which is rather expensive. I could have thought this a simple mistake. This until, I went to the very same front desk where I bought said tickets. Of course by the end of the day there is a different customer service agent. She, Makayla, undoubtedly has the worst service I have ever experienced, even in a tourist town. She flat or told me, "All we do is take your money!", super professional, right? Then, she told me she can't help and gave me the number to the closed office that could assist. She only offered an apology upon my request. Next, she repeatably refused to get management upon my request. Lastly, she gave me two different numbers for a customer service or complaint line. She is rude, unprofessional, and lacks compassion for customers. I will be talking to management tomorrow and hopefully the owner of this establishment can straighten out the error with the tickets. I'm just trying to ensure my children have a good vacation.

Tip: Do not use this hotel, and certainly don't buy tickets for local attractions through the hotel, but only from the attraction itself.

Our room was very clean and the beds was amazing. We arrived at night and the front desk lady was super nice and funny. The hotel was amazing. I’m the type of person who loves to go into a room crank up the AC to the highest and lay down and relax the first day in and that’s exactly what we done. The beds was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave lol. Very close and in walking distance to everything including the island. We most definitely will be back.

Don’t waste your money for this dirty and outdated room. Very disappointed with this experience and will never stay here again..even if it was a free room. Seriously how can you charge almost $100 a night for such a poor place? Buyers Beware!!

Would not recommend this dog hole to nobody. Checked in the room was so dark couldn't find the light switch carpet was tore the room was run down. Not like the picture I had seen of it. Went and tell the lady at the front that I wasn't satisfied with the room she was going to put me in another one and I told her now we were not staying there the room was not like what was on the computer. She charged me for one night stay but that was ok I just wanted out of there. The only place that looks like the pics is the lobby. Don't waste you time or money staying there I usually don't say nothing about places I stay but this one was shady.

The room we were given was in desperate need of repair and renovation. There was a space by the entry door big enough for critters to enter. The ceiling was peeling with pieces left on the floor-asbestos? The room above us had a leak that dripped water into my coffee that I had on the bathroom counter. Ceiling had a lot of rust that appeared to have been painted over. The bathroom floor was sticky. Various A/C units were leaking on to the ground and from upper units. There was an Elvis impersonator (he was very good, BTW) who was set up in the parking lot with chairs for viewers taking away parking spaces causing us to scramble for somewhere to park when we came back later in the evening, We will not return here.

"Great price, clean rooms, just a walk across parkway to the Island"

We stayed here our last night this past week. We were on the second floor on the office end and I must say it was really quiet. I heard a siren twice during the night, but I am a light sleeper. All of the staff were super nice and helpful. Our room was very clean and we loved the short walk across the parkway to the island. Elvis sang in the parking lot Friday night and loved seeing all the cars coming in for the Rat Rod. Next time we are totally planning on being there for that weekend.
