"Disappointed"
August, 2016
They advertised WiFi which basically only worked in our room sporadically. I am mean basically hardly at all. The pool was disgustingly gross. My kids said it was oily with hair all in it. The breakfast was eatble but eggs and sausage were not very appetizing. No fruit choices. Most of the staff was accommodating with the exception a rude night shift clerk Laura who hung up on me when I complained about the WiFi not working. I wouldn't stay there again.

"Clean and Convenient"
August, 2016
This was our first time at Island Drive Lodge. It was clean and very convenient. We were able to walk to Paula Deans and the Island, also to other shops and the Dixie Stampede and did not have to worry about parking. Nothing fancy, but it serves the purpose

"Nothing to brag about but ok"
July, 2016
We had 4 people in our room. We had to go to the front desk every evening and ask for a fourth towel. so everyone would have a clean towel for showers. Then my daughter left her teddy bear in the room when we checked out. Took us 4 calls to them after we got home to get answer if they had found it. They finally said yes. But it's been 2 weeks and just heard from someone to mail it to us for $14.

"Misdirection Island Drive Lodge, Pigeon Forge, TN"
August, 2015
The hotel is rather ran down and the pool is s joke, but the location is right on the main strip. However, my complaint is not on the hotel, rather how they conduct business with the local attractions. They sold me the wrong package to Dollywood, which is rather expensive. I could have thought this a simple mistake. This until, I went to the very same front desk where I bought said tickets. Of course by the end of the day there is a different customer service agent. She, Makayla, undoubtedly has the worst service I have ever experienced, even in a tourist town. She flat or told me, "All we do is take your money!", super professional, right? Then, she told me she can't help and gave me the number to the closed office that could assist. She only offered an apology upon my request. Next, she repeatably refused to get management upon my request. Lastly, she gave me two different numbers for a customer service or complaint line. She is rude, unprofessional, and lacks compassion for customers. I will be talking to management tomorrow and hopefully the owner of this establishment can straighten out the error with the tickets. I'm just trying to ensure my children have a good vacation.

Tip: Do not use this hotel, and certainly don't buy tickets for local attractions through the hotel, but only from the attraction itself.

Short stay over Thanksgiving. The staff was excellent and the location was great. The bathroom could use some work, but overall the room was comparable to those of much higher price range. The breakfast selection is minimal. We would definitely stay here again.

This lodge is in a great location. It is across from the island where all the attractions are. You can just cross the street. The rooms are average. We stayed in the suite with the whirlpool and fireplace. Honestly we have been in better lodges than this one. The room was non smoking but it smelled like smoke from all the people downstairs that were outside smoking. Also, the walls are super thin, could hear all the noisy people from next door. People are very inconsiderate. Breakfast was just ok, nothing out of the norm. Furniture, lamps, are outdated. Mattress was old and uncomfortable. I would definitely not stay there again.

Well... arrived on a Thursday , town was not so busy, so stay was ok. The women in the registration office were nice, the lady with breakfast was nice. Then the weekend hit. Traveling with my handicap mother , parking near room is important. People visiting the Island would park here and walk over leaving us with no parking close to room. The parking system stinks, need to give mirror hangers and number the spots, anyone else park here without the parking pass gets towed. We had two queen beds, my bed is so loud and squeaky it woke my mom whenever I would turn over. 2 am on night two kids were running around and knocked on our door loud twice. Bedding was clean, fridge was clean, microwaved clean, shower had some bad ceiling but nothing I can’t live with. But, this evening I went to talk to the office about needing my car up by the room and he told me it was public parking and I needed to park near the street. This is Not acceptable. Who is responsible if it gets damaged or vandalized. He was un friendly and gave no concern for our needs. My room was not cleaned once on a 3 night stay, towels were not swapped out, the soap is not good and they do not supply conditioner. I seriously considered leaving last night after the desk clerk was so uncaring to our needs, but fixed might as well sleep ... won’t get a refund. It’s 32 degrees out - running air conditioning the whole time , room is a hot box. Bug free Clean room

Island Drive Lodge is a great place to stay on your vacation to Pigeon Forge!! The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and staff is friendly and helpful. The location is the best. Close to the Island and right on parkway so it’s within walking distance to most attractions and if you’re driving it’s easy to get out of lot as it’s right by red light. Throughly enjoyed my stay!!

It was fairly nice. Needs some work but nothing big. Good place to sleep on the main strip by the island. Need to work on customer service tho. Our 2nd day there I needed more coffee and the girl at the front desk looked at me like I was an idiot and gave me one pack after I asked for 3, which is what they keep in the rooms every day. I couldn’t understand the big deal on that one but whatever.
