The hotel was nice but what made it nice wasn't how it looked it was the front desk clerk Billy. He was so nice and very welcoming... We would go out there every evening and have a conversation with him. My daughter enjoyed the conversation as well..

Rooms were adequate, appeared to be safe. Furnishings seemed old. For instance, operating the TV and cable took a learning curve. Breakfast items obviously generic brand items and nothing special, but there are nice restaurants in the town.
Tip: Sign was not lighted at night, and driveway is up hill from main road so hotel not easy to identify first time. Breakfast times are very specific.

"Always a pleasant stay"

We stay here about three times yearly.I have never taken the time to write a review although I read them often. I don't understand all of the negative reviews on this property. Each time we stay is always pleasant.Yes it is an older property that could use some cosmetic upgrades but overall it is clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We just stayed one night Oct 4 for a sisters night out.We stay every year over the thanksgiving holiday and the hotel always feels like home away from home.We feel safe coming and going at all hours doing the Black Friday shopping.Any issues we have ever had the staff has always corrected. Lighten up people life is not perfect nor is any hotel. If you expect perfection you are setting yourself up for disappointment. It is a clean, friendly, reasonably priced hotel that is not perfect but hey what is perfect.See ya soon hotel pigeon forge BBR North Carolina

"Decent"

Decent for the price. we were going to do the full TN experience and get a cabin but due to money we went a little cheaper and spent our money else where with our family. Clean facility with great customer service! The staff were amazing and I would probably stay again. It is located right on the strip of pigeon forge so basically as soon as you pull out of the hotel you are conveniently located near everything and anything! Price is very fair and worth it.

"Won't Repeat"

Reviewed March 28, 2016

The staff was nice. Breakfast was uninspiring but adequate. The hotel is old, elevators and hallways dingy and funny-smelling. The rooms had vacuumed floors, but there were cobwebs (which I just knocked down myself, but eww!)and the heater vent very dusty...like it hadn't been deep-cleaned in awhile, so I was unable to truly relax. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets were gray and there was no blanket except for the bedspread, which I was reluctant to use. We were short of towels and other room amenities the night we moved in, but they were stocked the next day w/o our asking. The bathroom was clean, water hot, with good shower pressure.

"Not again"

Reviewed February 16, 2016

We came in late on a night the temp was in the low 20's. Entered the room and there was no heat on and I'm sure the inside temp was low 40's. Asked for sheets and blanket and it took 30 minutes of repeatedly telling them there were not extras in the room. I know the hotel can't control everything but the lobby and elevators ALWAYS smelled like marijuana. It may be out of their control to an extent but shows they attract. Only thing they had going for them was 2 of the 3 front desk clerks I dealt with were very professional and helpful.

"Terrible Terrible Terrible Avoid this place"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed January 02, 2016

Room near exit door constantly noisy from frequent exits. Asked Service desk, no manager to assist to change room. My husband and I, 70 yrs old and 81 yrs old, where not able to leave the room for tour for 1 week. No vehicle because I was dropped off by my son, who was over 200 miles away. No assistance down the hill. Elevation was hazardous and dangerous without a vehicle, so we did not leave room for 1 week stay. No ramps or hand rails down hill that is quite steep, with an elevation that could result in accidental fall and hospitalization. Bedroom was not cleaned for the entire week stay. Both senior citizen and disabled, without vehicle, would have a hard time accessing the streets to tour if you did not want to drive. Had to ask for restaurants info near us because we did not know how we were going to eat. My husband and I had the worst treatment in our lives. I advise my fellow senior citizen and disabled to avoid this hotel.
