There are much better hotels for the same price point. I searched for rooms with hot tubs and booked one here...it was false. That was a lie, in my opinion. There was a jacuzzi tub, no hot tub. Whoo hoo (not really...that was sarcasm to the nth power) The wallpaper was peeling, the ceiling and bathroom areas had what appeared to be mold on the walls and ceiling, the refrigerator was broken, there were times when no one was around the front counter...it sucked. It is on the main strip..the location is alright. Everything else about it was an absolute stinker. We looked for another place to stay, but if memory serves correct, they have you sign a document when you check in saying that even if you leave early, you are still liable for your reservation amount. This place needs updating in a most severe way. The views are blocked by other hotels by the main entrance. There is a deck/ patio in the front but it is in dire need of attention also. I booked this place for a romantic getaway/ anniversary for me and my wife. We were married in Sevierville many moons ago. We wanted to refresh our memories of the area. As soon as we entered the room, we started calling other places. We were even willing to let them keep the money we had paid for our reservation but we couldn't find anything at such a short notice. I feel like I let my wife down with this decision. If you are planning on visiting this area, PLAN, PLAN, PLAN AHEAD....being spontaneous is good at times.

I would hate to see the lone hotel that ranked below this one. Upon arrival, my room had no bedding or towels and had not been vacuumed. Furniture was cheap and outdated. Wifi did not work at all, TV was the old square type and so fuzzy I could not read anything scrolling along the bottom. AC made such a loud thud and rattle, when it turned off, that i just left it off. Parking lot was too small and the lights where I parked in the back were off. A good indicator of the management of this place is to note how they do not even respond to negative reviews here on Trip Advisor. If you are used to cheap trashy hotels, I have found one for you. Its called Hotel Pigeon Forge.
The hotel is pretty decent. The room was old and dingy. The location of the hotel is very good, lots of restaurants, gas stations and entertainment places around. The breakfast was not so great though. I felt it was overpriced for the money i paid. I would recommend this for the location.
Staying at HOTEL PIGEON FORGE was not super awesome. My husband booked through Hotwire - I was not involved, so I do not know what it's rating was. The amenities he picked though, Pool and Free Breakfast, were accurate and the live birds out front were cool. My main problem with this establishment was: (1) QUITE dated, specifically our dbl-room and the lobby/bfast area (2) ALL-carb breakfast (3) poor maid service e.g. no flat sheet on my bed and towels never collected (4) broken ice machine on 3 of 4 floors (5) found bugs in our room 2 of 4 days. My kids hated it there (except for the pool), so we will never stay there again. It would be nice to trade for a different hotel, if this one should popup again on Hotwire.
