"Only getting 1 star bc no stars wasn't an option"
Reviewed July, 2015
They were under construction which we were not told about. The look of two rooms in one for privacy is deceiving there is no door of any kind separating the rooms so they are open to each other. Our tvs didn't work, we had dirty water coming out of the bath tub faucet rhe toliet overflowed on several occasions. The staff was rude and very unprofessional!
Tip: Don't stay there!! It's dirty!

"Nice rooms with a few issues"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

Just had a few issues during our stay. If you book a room here ask for one on the back side. Otherwise you'll be awakened at 5:30 AM to the sound of a rooster crowing from the Rainforest Adventure next door. And then the rooster wakes up the sheep and the donkey and you will hear them all singing in an animal chorus. Also the tv remotes took a long time to figure out they were not synced with the tv's. Also the air conditioner cooled the room closest to the unit, but did not circulate to the bed closest to the door.

"They had me at the chaise lounge!"

This was our first visit to this hotel and it will not be our last. I love the remodel; minimalist and streamlined. Comfortable beds, choice of firm or soft pillows (labeled), split room layout. We had a room with 2 queen beds (not our usual type, but someone else was paying!) Each "bedroom" had a large wall mounted flat screen TV, 2 bedside lamps, and indirect lighting above the bed. One "room" had the dresser, the other had the closet, desk, and a CHAISE LOUNGE! That is where I spent my leisure time! The rooms were separated by the bathroom; tub & toilet behind a door and a roomy sink area opposite the door. Large mirror and plenty of room for "stuff." In room microwave, refrigerator (no freezer), & keurig finished it off. The water pressure was good and the hot water quick to arrive. There was a door to a little balcony with two chairs to enjoy the mountain views. I loved the new window shades--one to diffuse the light, the other to darken the room. They behind a frame which allowed the room to be completely dark--perfect! Great housekeeping staff, the room looked and felt clean. Only a couple of negatives. The little blue ring nightlight in the mirror was bright and obnoxious at night. I covered it with a couple of post-it notes, a friend used duct tape, and another put something in front of it. Also, if you have a sensitive "bum", bring your own bathroom tissue. We stopped to buy some after one night! Breakfast was standard continental fare with eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy. I enjoyed the cinnamon rolls and, instead of waffles, they had a way to have pancakes. Overall, a very good stay! I recommend it!

"Started off disappointed..."

My husband and I didn't get to hotel until after 10pm. The room was all ready so we started unpacking and realized the a/c wasn't working. They didn't have anyone to look at it so they switched us rooms so I was at first disappointed. The rooms were average sized, clean and a very comfortable bed. We stayed 3 nights and the manager gave us a discount for the inconvenience. Breakfast was above average. Staff were very pleasant. We would stay again.
