"Only getting 1 star bc no stars wasn't an option"
July, 2015
They were under construction which we were not told about. The look of two rooms in one for privacy is deceiving there is no door of any kind separating the rooms so they are open to each other. Our tvs didn't work, we had dirty water coming out of the bath tub faucet rhe toliet overflowed on several occasions. The staff was rude and very unprofessional!
Tip: Don't stay there!! It's dirty!

"Nice and clean, terrible breakfast."

This hotel is better than most we have stayed in the past, except the breakfast it was terrible. Pros: This place is clean and comfortable. The hallways are well lit. The room was very clean and wonderful decorated. The location is awesome and very close to all the activities. 4th floor was very quiet. Cons: skip breakfast, it is absolutely disgusting. Eggs were bland, gravy was so runny you could have drank it with a straw. Biscuits: were hard as rocks. The sausage was sloggy, like it had sat in water. Pancakes were just ok. There is a big live bird in a cage in the lobby that is quite annoying. It sqawed all through breakfast. I think it's not appropriate here. Other than breakfast and the bird, I would highly recommend this hotel.

We checked in on a late Sunday afternoon and Peggy took great care of us. Very friendly and personable and we were in our room in no time. There are 2 elevators for the hotel so I can see that it probably can be a long wait in a peak vacation time. We went just last week so it wasn't as busy. We had a 2 king bed room. My son appreciated having an actual bed as opposed to a sofa bed. We gave our son the bed in the first part of the room. The area was separated down the middle by the bathroom. Toilet and tub were in their own area and sink was separate. Once you walked past the bathroom area, you came to the second king size bed. Each area had their own tv but there wasn't anything to keep noise from each part. You can hear both tvs from each part of the room. A/C unit was next to the bed farthest from the door. So if you like cool or heat then you need this bed in a room of this style. The room was ultra clean. Super impressed with cleanliness and the bathroom was well stocked with toiletries. For a room that could sleep 4 people we were only left with 3 bath towels and wash clothes. There were only 3 of us in the room so that might be why but if there are 4 people make sure to inquire at the front desk. The pool was closed for the winter so I can't comment on that. Breakfast every morning was pretty good. They have a machine that makes pancakes - never seen one of those. Assorted cereals, toast, danish, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit. Hot items while we were there were eggs, biscuits gravy, sausage. The first day we had bacon and the second day we had turkey sausage. Hard boiled eggs were also an option along with apple juice, orange juice and coffee. They had some of the best cinnamon rolls I've had in a long time. Very soft and gooey. I recommend those if you have a sweet tooth at breakfast. The beds slept good. Not super soft but we were happy. Each person had 2 pillows. One marked firm and the other marked soft on the pillowcase. That was a different touch. Overall, I was happy with our stay and I wouldn't hesitate to return. The hotel is super close to a BW3, the newer Quaker Steak and Lube and some shops. You'll have to drive everywhere else.

"Use the Exhaust Fan when Showering "

This holiday Inn location has great curb appeal. I stayed here on business and my stay was pretty good. The staff was friendly. They have a breakfast buffet with meat, eggs, pancakes, Yogurt, cold cereal, hot cereal mixes and juices. Pretty much the standard for a Holiday Inn Express. I stayed on the fifth floor which is the highest floor. I had a two bedroom suite which was pretty sizable with two TVs. The room also had a small balcony. And a great view of the mountains. I took a shower and was in there for five minutes with the water steaming hot. All of a sudden I heard my smoke alarm going off. I did not know what was happening, so I rushed through my shower. Only to find out that the alarm was only in my room. I immediately fanned the smoke detector to get rid of the alarm sound. The next time I showered I turned on the exhaust fan in the bathroom. Guess that's what it's for. Ha. Consider yourself warned :-)

This was our third stay and will not be our last. This time our room was first floor and could walk out to the car. I found this so convenient. They rooms are so large. love the way the two rooms are separate. We had a pack and play with us and had plenty room for it. The front staff are always helpful and the cleaning staff are very nice. Very quiet. It is our go to place in Pigeon Forge.

"Wonderful stay!"

Last month my family stayed at this hotel in one of the rooms the had two rooms split by a bathroom in the middle. It was the perfect set up for us. The rooms and hallways were nicely decorated. I loved the light-up mirror above the sink. It was perfect for getting ready. I also had time to test out the fitness room. I used the tredmill and some of the free weights. It was nice and clean, and there's even a water machine in there in case you get thirsty. Also, the lobby was nice. There was a place where you could work on a puzzle while you waited, and there was also a parrot kept by the front desk that you could talk too. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend stay!
