"Only getting 1 star bc no stars wasn't an option"
July, 2015
They were under construction which we were not told about. The look of two rooms in one for privacy is deceiving there is no door of any kind separating the rooms so they are open to each other. Our tvs didn't work, we had dirty water coming out of the bath tub faucet rhe toliet overflowed on several occasions. The staff was rude and very unprofessional!
Tip: Don't stay there!! It's dirty!

"Beautiful view"

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Sevierville,Tn.from 10/18-10/21/16.It was a beautiful hotel, very clean, staff was very friendly. I would liked to have had a lamp on the desk in the room. It was very difficult to work or read there due to no light. I also thought it would have been nice had there been a nice chair in the corner by the desk. It also would have been nice to have cookies or fruit in the dining area in the evenings. Most hotel do, do that now days. The bath tub had no mat in it and my husband almost fall the first night of our stay. After the first night, I put a hand towel on the floor of the tub to keep him from slipping. When we return to the area, we would love to stay here again.

"Three night stay close to a Pigeon Forge "

Wanted a hotel close to everything but far enough away to be quiet and easy to get in and out of. This hotel worked out real good. Had a 2 king bed room that the beds are separated by the bathroom so a little more privacy, but no door between the two bedrooms, so not totally private but good enough. Hotel looked and smelled clean. Breakfast was adequate, they had sausages, eggs, biscuits, gravy, and all the usual cereals, oatmeals, yogurts, pancakes, etc. Outdoor pool wasn't open and fire pit was only lit one of the three nights that we saw. The rainforest zoo was right next door, could smell it sometimes when walking through the hotel parking lot. But not that big of a deal. Really liked the blackout shades and having two tvs in the room. The beds were really comfy too. And liked having a mini fridge and a microwave in the room. The handrail on the side of the shower was loose at the bottom, so be careful if you use that to pull yourself out of the tub. (Room 436, if someone from the hotel reads this, I was going to mention it upon checking out but the lady at the desk was on the phone with another customer so just handed her the room keys and left). The parrot in the lobby was neat too

This is a nice little hotel, but there are a few (but big to me) issues. First of all, the girls who work at the front are outstanding and deserve recognition. They went above and beyond for me in more than one way. These girls alone would make me return here. Now my issues. The way the split rooms are set up, it is extremely hard to cool off one side of the room. In fact, our entire 4 day stay, we never got it cool. Part of the reason for that is because it was so cold on the side where the a/c unit was. My husband and I are both hot natured and it made for a miserable night for everyone. Secondly, the noise level was ABSURD. I will say there were some of the noisiest, rudest people staying here I have ever encountered, so the noise issues are not solely the fault of the hotel. We heard every word until 3 am from 2 rooms close to us. Again, miserable. I cannot comment on the breakfast because we slept in ever day.

We felt welcome from the time we got here until we left. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the rooms are perfect for parents with a teen daughter. The rooms are divided so each has a separate sleeping area. The hotel has recently been redecorated and looked brand new. The outside fireplace is awesome, even in Summer.

"We love this place! Close to Dollywood!"

We've stayed here several times and love it every time we stay. Once we had an issue and the front desk people went out of their way to fix it. They know me and my foster kids by name. Only thing is they usually run out of hot chocolate and my kids are always asking for it! Definitely stay here if you're in town for Dollywood or otherwise!
