The 3 bedroom luxury cabin has an AMAZING view. Being our third time to the Smokies we try a different cabin company each trip and this is by far the nicest one. There were 3 floors each with its own bedroom, bathroom, pull out couch, tv, and balcony (one even had a hot tub). The bottom floor also included a pool table, foosball table, and high top table for playing cards. These will definitely be our go to cabins for the next time we visit the Smokies.

Whether you want to just curl up fireside to relax and rejuvenate your soul, shop until you drop at discount shopping outlets, pursue romantic plans, have a Gatlinburg wedding or entertain/educate your children, there is so much here for you to enjoy -- and it is economical, too!

When you rent a Gatlinburg cabin or a Pigeon Forge cabin, you will get the best of both worlds for your special vacation. You will have privacy, convenience, and luxury. Pets must weigh less than 30 lbs, be crate-trained and should not be left unattended in the cabin. Pets over 30 lbs is a $75 non-refundable fee. "Bullwinkle Cabin"
September, 2015
We were looking for a place for a family get together. We needed somewhere for 8 people. Wanted home theater, game room, & master bedrooms. We found Hearthside cabin rentals, and found The Bullwinkle. It had 4 master bedrooms & everything we wanted. It had perfect mountain views along with the strip at Pigeon Forge. You could see the Ferris Wheel. The cabin is the type of place you would say "If I won the lottery..." That's how nice it was. We stayed a week & everyday someone would say how awesome this cabin was. I have read this owner also have other awesome cabins in the area too. The folks at Hearthside Cabin Rentals were very nice. They called us when the cabin was ready. If you need anything while at the cabin just call them. Very helpful. Word of advice, do not depend on your GPS at first. You will be given an old way of communication...paper with written instructions. The first time we used our GPS & it could not find the house. The written instructions took you right to it. THEN mark your location on the GPS. Now they have a no cancellation policy. You can purchase travel insurance in case something happens. So think about that. We had made our reservation 9 months earlier. Our families conclusion was this was our best vacation ever! Hearthside & The Bullwinkle Cabin made this possible.

"I Love View Cabin is AMAZING"

I booked the I Love View cabin off Hummingbird Way through Hearthside Cabin Rentals for Dec 1-4,2018 and it did NOT disappoint. This small cabin was built for two as one big room with a king bed, jacuzzi tub inside, bathroom & shower, wood burning fireplace, hot tub outside and an absolutely PHENOMENAL VIEW! Full kitchen to cook with a charcoal grill outside. Only one complaint: the bed was so loud! Lol. Barely roll over and it sounded like someone was moving furniture! 🤣 The hot tub was perfectly placed in a more private area. The cabin has a few around it, but all in all it was one of the more private cabins available. The cabin had a small Christmas tree for the upcoming holiday, which is fine since it’s a small cabin. But that’s one other place they could improve on. I was psyched it was decorated for Christmas only to find the same size tree we have in our tiny apartment and that was it. Maybe add some more Christmas decorations along the patio along the front and along the upper windows at the peak. The reservation and check in process was great. They do only provide the initial towels, tp and paper towels, but we had more than enough to stay a few more nights. We LOVED this cabin and WILL come back again!!!!!!!!! I’m SO glad I did my research and it far surpassed everything I was look for an amazing birthday weekend. My boyfriend was surprised and was more than what he imagined as well. Thanks, Hearthside!

This was my second stay with this company in the same cabin. Both times the cabin was dirty, but this time was a deal breaker. There was a bloody bandage stuck to the ceiling above the bed, the shower curtain was black and moldy, and the video arcade was broken. The indoor pool was so nasty that you couldn't even see the bottom of the pool. Cloudy and gross. The jacuzzi tub had black mold around the jets. No firewood provided for the fireplace. The rental company skates out of responsibility with a "2 hour inspection" clause that states if you don't report the problem in the first 2 hours it's not their problem. We weren't even at our cabin for the first 2 hours. When we called about firewood, they told us "we don't provide firewood, we just rent cabins" I travel by motorcycle a lot of the time, so if this had been a motorcycle trip, I would have been out of luck for using the fireplace. The staff is rude and uncaring about any issues may have. The only recourse I have now is to warn others and never stay there again...

"Mountain Sunrise at the Preserve"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5
Reviewed October 16, 2018
Poor housekeeping found. Main gripe is the huge master bedroom showed a beautiful sleigh bed on the website. We had a metal frame similar to those common in a mobile home or apartment. No regular bed frame. Mattress looks as though came from second hand store. Even after maintenance leveled up frame by removing damaged or broken levelers, mattress was still like sleeping in a large taco. 1/4 in dust on top of fan blades. The leather couch was fine, but all the cloth fabric furniture was very stained and soiled. Very disappointed, will not use Hearthside again. We have been renting a cabin once or twice a year for 12 years in this area. Will not use Hearthside again.

"Don't Trust The Pictures"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5
Reviewed October 12, 2018
Our cabin, Cades Cove Vista Lodge, had a lovely view however; that was spoiled upon arrival by the numerous smears and handprints all over tbe windows. The luving room couch was horrendous- worn out with wear and tear marks amd scratches all over The chair next to it had scrayches all over it as well. The floor behind the couch was damaged with many long, deep scratches and looked really bad. The couch was so low to the floor that getting up and down on it was an uncomfortable strain. The dining room table looked terrible with white marks all over it as if someone had sprayed something on it and ruined it. Don't trust the beautiful pictures you see on their website. What a shame to waste so much money on a cabin and be deceived and disappointed.

"Wonderful Experience in “Mountain Sunrise”"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed October 10, 2018
We stayed in “Mountain Sunrise”. The view was spectacular and the cabin was clean, large, and cozy. Everything worked as it was supposed to. Please keep in mind that the cabins in this area are about 25 minutes from Pigeon Forge and so 35 or more from Gatlinburg depending on traffic. For us, it was worth the drive and there were many places to enjoy on the drive such as alpine coasters, numerous antique shops, restaurants, and of course “Goats on the Roof.” The mosquitoes on the porch were a drag so if u go in warm weather take bug spray and for sure a citronella candle to enjoy the porches. Yes, the sunrises were AMAZING. 5 stars. Online check in was easy. My interaction with staff was A+. Will stay again.
