"Amazing Vacation Amazing Place!"
June, 2016
This was our second stay at Glenstone Lodge and I must say they are very consistent. The room was clean and everything worked as it should, wifi was nice and didn't drop out or lag. It can get a little hot in the indoor pool area but it was really, nice with the waterfalls, and the deep section is separate from the shallower section. The water I side is very warm for those that do not like cold pools, however the outdoor pool was much cooler if you like that also. The staff were polite and handled all our questions even when we locked ourself out of our room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you have children.

Glenstone Lodge is well located in Gatlinburg for a quick walk downtown. It is an older lodge but was very clean and the air conditoning worked wonderfully!

"Very pleasant stay"
April, 2015
I took my daughter & two grandchildren, ages 6 & 8, for a 2 day stay @ Glenstone Lodge. It was awesome! Kids loved the indoor pool; queen suite was quiet (mountain view), spacious, comfortable, & clean. Staff (all of them!) were friendly & helpful! Breakfast buffet had many selections, convenient & reasonably priced. Internet was not working consistently.

Tip: Historic Trail is a couple blocks off the main drag (Parkway) in Gatlinburg. Parkway traffic was horrible so getting to the hotel takes a while.

"Outstanding! We will stay here again!"

Service is topnotch. Rooms clean and fresh, no stale, musty odor. Location is within walking distance to Gatlinburg attractions and a short drive (10 miles?) from Pigeon Forge. I enjoyed the full breakfast complete with eggs or omelettes cooked to order. Breakfast is not "continental" and not free but well worth the price.

"Old but nice"

We stayed at the Glenstone for a weekend family getaway. It's a great hotel if you are not looking to stay indoors and relax all day. The pool area was really nice but the rooms are small. The hotel was perfect for us because we just spent time here to sleep and swim. The hotel was recently redone but you can see that the hotel is old. It's in a nice location. The staff was very nice. Overall, it was a decent hotel in a very busy area for what we were looking for.

Not terrible but not great. Overbooked so the three of us were moved to a king room with roll away though we had reserved 2 queens. It had new carpet and paint but was sloppily done. Lipstick on a pig... Pool area was very nice.

"Great Family Hotel for Any Season"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

My family (two teen boys and 2 adults) stayed in a two-queen room, indoor pool side, on the bottom floor during late Fall. The kids had an absolute blast with the two pools and hot tub located 10 ft away. The two pools, one 3-4 ft deep, and the second 7-9 ft were heated. The hot tub was very toasty. We could hear the waterfall as we slept, which was pleasant. Expect a flash of warm humidity when you walk inside from outdoors, but super pleasant when the temp is low. However, if you want peace and quiet, would recommend an outdoor room facing the Smoky Mountains. They have a full breakfast with omelet chef, but it's not free. The bathroom was a little dated, but all in all, a really great hotel that the whole family can enjoy. Plus, there be bears nearby. For real.

"A day away for my birthday......"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed November 01, 2017 NEW
We found this hotel on a Groupon getaway deal for a very reasonable price. My daughter prompted me to book so we both could get a change of scenery and celebrate my birthday the following day. When we arrived we were in awe of how clean and manicured the place was. The inside pool area with the Tower falls and hot tub was absolutely fantastic! Very quiet, relaxing stay here for us. We did go out to the picnic area to take a look at the view of the small river running behind the place and a huge black bear was just walking around checking things out. He came a little too close for my comfort but it was a beautiful creature. We just left the area without any problems....So don't be surprised if you see a bear around if you visit! Such a cool, quaint little place right smack dab in the middle of beautiful Gatlinburg TN! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away and relax. I also want to commend the staff because I left my bathing suit in the room and they are in the process of sending it back to me here in SC.
