"Amazing Vacation Amazing Place!"
June, 2016
This was our second stay at Glenstone Lodge and I must say they are very consistent. The room was clean and everything worked as it should, wifi was nice and didn't drop out or lag. It can get a little hot in the indoor pool area but it was really, nice with the waterfalls, and the deep section is separate from the shallower section. The water I side is very warm for those that do not like cold pools, however the outdoor pool was much cooler if you like that also. The staff were polite and handled all our questions even when we locked ourself out of our room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you have children.
Tip: Indoor pool is humid, Staff is nice

"A good nights rest"
October, 2015
Glenstone Lodge is well located in Gatlinburg for a quick walk downtown. It is an older lodge but was very clean and the air conditoning worked wonderfully!
Tip: It is a busy large lodge so request a room on the backside if you're not with a family.

"Very pleasant stay"
April, 2015
I took my daughter & two grandchildren, ages 6 & 8, for a 2 day stay @ Glenstone Lodge. It was awesome! Kids loved the indoor pool; queen suite was quiet (mountain view), spacious, comfortable, & clean. Staff (all of them!) were friendly & helpful! Breakfast buffet had many selections, convenient & reasonably priced. Internet was not working consistently.
Tip: Historic Trail is a couple blocks off the main drag (Parkway) in Gatlinburg. Parkway traffic was horrible so getting to the hotel takes a while.

Stayed 3 nights, the week of August 2016. Newly "renovated"? I would hate to see what it looked like before. Cheap linoleum floors, linens, very small bathroom, "Extremely" loud a/c that ran 24 hours a day. Building a new hotel next door, and workman started working at 630 am daily.Didnt sleep well the whole time. Didnt have much interaction with the staff except for when we checked in. He wasnt the friendliest either. Only good thing is that it is within walking distance to downtown. Would not stay here again.....

We stayed 3 nights in August 2016. Our room was newly renovated....when we tried to turn on tv, would not connect to cable---because tv did not have a hard wire to the cable inlet! Easy fix, the hotel maintenance man found a cord, connected and wallah! We did have TV! The room was large, beds were ultra soft with luxury bedding, towels were plush. Only complaint I had was that we had to have the TV on loudest setting just to barely hear it....perhaps the tv speakers were not adjusted correctly. The grounds are beautiful, with the river in the rear of the property. There is a BBQ area with a covered picnic area in the back near the outdoor pool. The indoor pool was warm and relaxing, as was the indoor whirlpool. They did have pool towels available right there in the pool area. We received a daily news paper. They did have a restaurant for breakfast in the lobby, however, we never utilized it. All in all, this was a great hotel if you want to visit Gatlinburg. We would just walk 1/2 a mile to the downtown area and enjoy the shops, bars, activities.

Not not a bad hotel for the location couple blocks away from main St. Definitely out of date for price and wish the breakfast included, the beds were hard, but other than that room seem okay. The pool nice after long day, but i was bummed that hot tub had no jets.

Room looked fine upon entering. I suggest you bring your own pillows 4 small on each bed were completely worn out flat. The toilet seat was broke I told front desk at 8am came back at 6pm still broke, ceiling above tub had water damage and the real deal was its 4/10 of a mile from parkway not a bad walk down hill but a real killer to get back up after shopping, or dinner all I can say is don't drink at dinner and drive everywhere

the beds was very hard , the room was hot ! the air was set on 70 & you could not turn down ! very loud ! there was a wedding party at the time , & there was kidding running all around the lobby so it made it hard to get in ! men standing all around so you couldn't get around ! the closely elevator & hallway was so hot it was like the heat was on 95 ! And there was not enough parking ! had to park at the next lot up right next to a construction sight that woke us up at 7;15 every morning :( , the so-called breakfast was a few tables setup in the lobby what little was there ! $ 9.95 a person ! this for all age's !! to me this is a rip off !!
