"Amazing Vacation Amazing Place!"
June, 2016
This was our second stay at Glenstone Lodge and I must say they are very consistent. The room was clean and everything worked as it should, wifi was nice and didn't drop out or lag. It can get a little hot in the indoor pool area but it was really, nice with the waterfalls, and the deep section is separate from the shallower section. The water I side is very warm for those that do not like cold pools, however the outdoor pool was much cooler if you like that also. The staff were polite and handled all our questions even when we locked ourself out of our room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you have children.
Tip: Indoor pool is humid, Staff is nice

"A good nights rest"

Glenstone Lodge is well located in Gatlinburg for a quick walk downtown. It is an older lodge but was very clean and the air conditoning worked wonderfully!
Tip: It is a busy large lodge so request a room on the backside if you're not with a family.

"Very pleasant stay"
April, 2015
I took my daughter & two grandchildren, ages 6 & 8, for a 2 day stay @ Glenstone Lodge. It was awesome! Kids loved the indoor pool; queen suite was quiet (mountain view), spacious, comfortable, & clean. Staff (all of them!) were friendly & helpful! Breakfast buffet had many selections, convenient & reasonably priced. Internet was not working consistently.
Tip: Historic Trail is a couple blocks off the main drag (Parkway) in Gatlinburg. Parkway traffic was horrible so getting to the hotel takes a while.

"Highly Unsatisfied!!"

My family and I left HIGHLY unsatisfied with this hotel. The only good thing about it was that the front desk did leave a crib in the room as requested. The rest of the time was terrible. Parking at the hotel is awful... The rooms are not adequately renovated. I could still see that the sinks were not updated nor were the faucet fixtures. The AC unit did not work (and was not even fixed until the last day of our stay). The walls are paper thin and we could hear EVERYTHING in the hallway, outside in the parking lot, and from the adjacent rooms. I slept closest to the window and could hear the company next-door coughing on the balcony. When I was in the bathroom, I could hear the woman next-door coughing. The wi-fi was spotty every night and stopped working towards the end of the 3rd night. When my husband called the front desk to try to resolve the wi-fi connection, the front desk lady tried to talk to us for only 2 minutes and then said it wasn't her problem that the wi-fi wasn't connecting and didn't know what to do about it. During that same phone call, my hubby heard the front desk lady tell her colleague that she "couldn't hear due to the screaming baby in the background". My just turned 1-year old was nowhere near the phone receiver and had not been feeling well all day. I felt that the comment was VERY rude and unprofessional. Checking out of the hotel was wayyyy too congested. There were not enough carts to carry out our stuff. My husband had to make 4 trips up and down the stairs with our luggage from the 3rd floor. We stayed for 3 nights and we couldn't get away fast enough!! If you have the extra money to stay somewhere else... please do.

Rooms are very clean and nice, breakfast buffet is great by not free. The indoor pool and hot though are so awesome. Has a cool water fall. Two different pools and cool features. We really enjoyed our stay. This hotel has a great view of the mountains and the town.

"NEWLY RENOVATED!!"

I see a lot of negative reviews on here, but this hotel deserves much better than this. We have had an amazing experience! The staff is very, very friendly! Our room was beautiful! The rooms have been updated recently and they are beautifully done. The beds are very comfortable, unlike many reviews state about the previous rooms. The pool is AMAZING! Like many of the photos show, but even the pictures can't do it justice! The lobby could be renovated with new carpet, but how much time do you really spend in the lobby. Everything is very clean here! It is about a 5 minute walk downhill to get to all of the shops on the main strip of road. We would definitely stay again! They offer free coffee and breakfast which was a huge plus! If You have a family that swims at the pool there is honestly no better place to stay! It's also indoors and heated which was wonderful considering how large it is! ASK FOR A ROOM THAT DOESN'T LOOK IN ON THE POOL. I imagine this would make your stay much less enjoyable.

We have used the Glenstone Lodge for 4 years now and have been extremely satisfied. The staff is very accommodating and anytime there is an issue it is addressed immediately . The meeting room is excellent and the guest rooms have been recently renovated. We love the large lobby and the kids love the indoor pool. You just cannot beat the Glenstone for a Group Meeting.
