"friendly staff and clean rooms"

we stayed in the king bed room. The room was nicely decorated and clean. It is convenient to several things in the pigeon forge Area. They offer free breakfast with biscuits, eggs, and pancakes. We will definitely stay again.

The Econo Lodge exceeded all of our expectations. Very clean. The pics on the web were very accurate. No surprises! Using Reserve Gatlinburg was smooth and easy.
Tip: This is an Econo lodge not the Waldorf. For this type of hotel this one was great!

"Kids loved it"

We stayed here during the winter in one of the poolside rooms. My kids loved the hotel and the pool, but I'm a bit ambivalent on it. We were on an upper floor, but the pool side rooms are basically all enclosed with the indoor pool. The noise carries, and I wouldn't have gotten any sleep if I hadn't used a noise app on my phone to drown out the shouting from below. The room was average. It could use a deep clean, and it wasn't anything fancy. It is a typical family hotel, and we could clearly hear other conversations through the air vent in the room as well as hear from the room next door. This isn't somewhere I'd go for a relaxing weekend with my husband. The breakfast room was very crowded. There was some seating outside, but it was too cold for that. Not everyone found seating, but everyone did have to wait in line to get food. The food was hot and plentiful though with plenty of choices. The area along the water is OK. They have a covered area and a fire pit, but there was duck and goose poop everywhere. The hotel is located at the beginning of the parkway. There isn't much parking near the parkway as it is mostly behind the hotel by the river (if you're wanting to park on the parkway for a car show or something). There is a drugstore across the street if you need to walk across for last minute supplies. I probably won't choose this hotel again unless I get a really good deal on it. I prefer places that have been remodeled more recently, but this hotel is fine for families. I would recommend getting a room outside the pool area though, especially if you have trouble sleeping with noise.

We visited Pigeon Forge last weekend and had a wonderful stay at The Econo Lodge Riverside. We have stayed there before and the return stay was delightful. Three other families joined us and they were impressed with the facility and service. I highly recommend this motel if you visit Pigeon Forge. Clean rooms and a great breakfast that really gets your day started right. Enjoy!

We stayed for one night on a trip through the Smokies. We were pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of our first floor room facing the river. The room was rather small but fully equipped. The breakfast was very nice and fully equipped with a pretty area in the court yard for outside eating as well as inside. It was economical and well situated near restaurants and attractions.

"Best shower heads, review of handicap room"

We stayed her two nights during the Pigeon Forge Rod Run. The hotel is in the parkway at the northern end near light 2/2a. We ended up in a handicap accessible room due to the there being sold out. So this room may have been a little larger. Good points: comfy bed, best water pressure of any hotel I have stayed in hands down, our room was 155 on ground level and farther back off the parkway. We preferred this due the traffic noise from all the hot rods. They have an indoor pool which we didn't use. Breakfast was standard hotel fare and free. Breakfast area was large compared to some budget hotels I have stayed in. Cons especially for those in wheelchair who might stay here. The toilet has room for a wheelchair but doesn't have any grab bars for transfer assist. The shower/tub combo was up high off the ground and I'm not sure if it is the right height for easy transfers, but they did offer a shower chair which is nice. The shower had a handheld sprayer but there is no way for a person in a wheelchair to reach up high enough to get it down. The shower did have grab bars. The door also has a lowered peephole to be accessible from a wheel chair.

"Great choice!"

This was an excellent choice for our stay in Pigeon Forge. Friendly staff and a clean room with all the usual amenities. The price was very reasonable – my husband thought I was paying for one night when I was actually paying for two! I’ve never seen a more efficient breakfast staff. Although the breakfast room was packed, 5 ladies made sure everything was constantly full and the tables clean. We really enjoyed the river view and the 100 or so geese and ducks that loved being fed. There is one negative I will mention. The tub is raised get in and difficult to and out of – especially for someone like me with short legs. They really need a safety rail on it.
