The Econo Lodge exceeded all of our expectations. Very clean. The pics on the web were very accurate. No surprises! Using Reserve Gatlinburg was smooth and easy.

Our room was very clean and nicely maintained, even if it was smaller than expected. Nice view of the river in the back of the property. Great location on the parkway. Overall would recommend to people staying in the Pigeon Forge area. Great value for the money

Overall not a terrible stay, but had minor inconveniences, discomfort and inability to use amenities we paid for. First, there are no thermostats in the room. It is incredibly difficult to maintain a steady temperature in the room with outdated window units. Most places that we stay that have these utilize thermostats with them, especially at a price point of over $110 night. Next, we wanted to use the hot tub after a long day. Part of the reason we paid more for this hotel than others that were comparable without hot tubs. The problem with that, for two days, we could not get in due to large groups with small children SWIMMING IN FLOATIES in the hot tub. Upon entering the pool area and viewing the hot tub rules, they were within guidelines set by this hotel. The rules only state “under 12 ha to have adult supervision”. Finally, when I booked online I purposefully used a card I would not use at check-in. I do not provide hotels I’ve never used with my bank info before check in. Their own sites states you are not charged until check in. Imagine my surprise when I get an email the day before stating I had insufficient funds to cover my stay. I called and was told they have a new policy yet have not updated their website, that they would put into the computer that I will pay upon check in. Day of check in, hours before we could check in, I received a call requesting my account info. Ok econolodge, you got my money once, we won’t be visiting again.

This was our first stay and it was good. The room was clean, had a fridge and microwave and plenty of storage space. The breakfast had plenty of xhoices and was always well stocked. The only negative was you could hear the adjoining rooms conversation thru the wall vent. It is the best value in Pigeon Forge

The area is absolutely amazing. I wish we had more time to check it out, but unfortunately missed out because of some poor weather. So, the hotel. It’s in a great spot and it’s pretty good for an Econo Lodge. Breakfast was great and very busy. The not so good was checking in. Not sure if it was because of a long day checking in a few bus loads of people, but Donald (the person at the front desk) wasn’t too friendly. He had all the enthusiasm of a colonoscopy. Only a small thing, but goes a long way with such quick stay.
