"friendly staff and clean rooms"

we stayed in the king bed room. The room was nicely decorated and clean. It is convenient to several things in the pigeon forge Area. They offer free breakfast with biscuits, eggs, and pancakes. We will definitely stay again.

The Econo Lodge exceeded all of our expectations. Very clean. The pics on the web were very accurate. No surprises! Using Reserve Gatlinburg was smooth and easy.
Tip: This is an Econo lodge not the Waldorf. For this type of hotel this one was great!

This hotel could be exceptional, with a small amount of attention to details. The lobby is very nice and unexpected for an Econ Lodge. The indoor pool area is neatly designed, there's an exercise room with equipment, and adequate vending. They have a very nice breakfast area with a hot breakfast: eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, etc. The room was larger than expected with 2 beds (that were decently comfortable with clean linen), table, fridge, and a microwave. Why not a 5? It's the little things. Our room was nice but there were crumbs beside the bed and a small dead bug (NOT A ROACH OR A BED BUG) in the bathroom floor. Maybe housekeeping was having a snack and the bug died after they vacuumed, who knows? There were areas outside with water damage, loose boards/siding and peeling paint on the ceiling of the breezeway. Parking is barely adequate. We didn't get to the hotel until 12:15am and there was 1 spot left in the lot, thankfully! Overall this is a good place to stay but with a little work it could be one of the best in Pigeon Forge.

Great location! We could have walked to several show/dinner theaters if we had wanted to. Trolley stop just a couple hundred feet away, too. The addition of the river walk, benches, tables, gazebo, grills, and fire pit are great! It's like a park along the river. An earlier review mentioned the concern of geese being a nuisance if eating at the picnic tables, but we saw folks grilling and eating, and the geese didn't come near. Room was small, but there were only two of us so wasn't an issue. Room was clean, as was the bathroom. We only heard the neighbors in the next room because of the connecting door. Didn't hear the neighbors on the other side at all. Our room was on the street side, but we didn't find the traffic to be bothersome, though we stayed in mid-April before prime tourist season. Full hot breakfast was a plus--the eggs were real, not powdered. The breakfast staff stayed on top of replenishing items that were getting low. We were too busy to use the pool and hot tub, but will shoot for that the next time we stay.

We took my daughter to Pigeon Forge for her 21st birthday. The rooms were Very clean and the beds very comfortable. The river was beautiful. Love sitting out side and feeding the ducks, just watch for Duck poop. The kids love the pool but was a little crowed. Breakfast was amazing, Hot Biscuit and gravy and Muffins mmm.. fresh OJ and Hot coffee!! The only Problem was Housekeeping Knocking on the door every morning (EARLY)..some times more than once..and they even knocked on the door very early on the day we were checking out. There was no "do not disturb" sign in room.. My mistake was I should have ask for one..We had 2 Service dogs and the Hotel was amazing with them. They even have an out door area for dinning and having breakfast with our dogs.. Over all the our stay was great :)

We stopped here for 3 nights on a road trip and what excellent value. We paid about £45pn and breakfast and free WiFi were included. The WiFi is excellent, the breakfast is very limited (unusual not to see a waffle iron!) but adequate and the dining area was a decent size, plus outside seating The room was a good size, plenty of clean towels provided and the shower was very nice. All the decor is a little dated, but it's clean with all the facilities. We didn't use the pool or games room (all arcade machines) and we were glad to have a room away from them as they could get quite noisey. Our room looked over the car park and river- the way they maintain this area is really lovely. Always very clean, new landscaping and the outside fire pit and seating area is a very nice touch. The hotels location is really good - 10mins from Dollywood, 5mins to the huge Tanger Outlet mall, 2mins from The Island and about 20mins from the edge of the Smoky Mountains National Park. It took us about 80mins to drive to Cades Cove (highly recommended) and there are plenty of restaurants and activities very close. Despite being right in the middle of it all, we found it to be quiet to sleep but that was probably because we had a room at the back away from the road. The only slight gripe is the air con isn't thermostatic, the fridge and plumbing are exceptionally noisey and the walls are very thin! If the breakfast was better this would be a 5 for value - definitely a good base for your visit.

First time stay at this hotel and we were not disappointed. Spent a couple night here this week and will be back. The rooms were clean and bed were comfortable. Customer service was super. Free wifi, but signal was a little weak sometimes. Great location and we loved the hotel being right on the river. My wife feed the ducks and geese numerous times as we strolled on the nicely landscape walkway. Free breakfast was good. Plenty of parking spaces. Only downside was the breakfast room was too small for a hotel of this size, so you may have to stand in line a while. Pool was a little small also, but no big deal for us, as we didn't use it. Overall great stay and will be back.
