"Wonderful Early Christmas visit 🎄"

Everything about the hotel was amazing- great food, smiling helpful staff & pretty room. The Christmas decor at the hotel was beautiful, and we liked seeing a variety of Dolly photos & hidden butterflies that she adores. The free transportation to and from the park was very convenient as well, not to mention saving a $15 parking fee at the park. Breakfast buffet was good & plentiful as well. Highly recommend this fun escape!

"Christmas At Dollywood"

This was our, "Christmas in Dollywood, church trip. We don't usually stay in a place like DreamMore but this was special. The Resort was beautifully decorated! We loved sitting by the fire with friends, eating pizza and Dolly's Cinnamon Bread, laughing and enjoying the fellowship. When staying at the Resort, you are shuttled to the park. The shuttle ran every 15 minutes so you could come and go as you pleased. The park was so pretty, decorated with over four (4) million lights. It was magical! The shows were very good. The staff at the resort and at Dollywood Park were very friendly and accommodating. They always had time to answer questions. My husband and I several times asked park personnel how to get to a certain place or show. Not only did they tell us. Some just took us there themselves. Although it was misty or drizzling rain and COLD, we had a fantastic time!. Because of the rain, the Parade of Many Colors was canceled, both nights, but we enjoyed the rest of the park....Oh, before I forget, You MUST get the Cinnamon Bread! It's wonderful!! Don't leave the park without it! It was the best thing we had to eat the whole trip! ....FYI:They do have it at the resort!

OMG was my initial reaction valet at pull thru to direct your way beautiful decorations from the entrance to the resort. Great check in experience and due to snow forecast we we're early no worries. The valet wisked our luggage to our room. We were met by a fabulous room inviting shower and what a view. Off to a show but had to stop for some apple cider served by a delightful young lady. Upon returning to the Resort guess who was in the lobby hohoho Saint Nick himself. Perfect day perfect customer service 🎄 AllI can say is I hope I am good so I can return to the most wonderful place in the world.

"Nice hotel, still pushing the valet and bell service"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed December 09, 2018 NEW
This is arguably the nicest place to stay in the area. Check in was fast this time with no real line. Clerk didn’t have correct info on my payment situation during check in, but this was correct and cleared up at check out. I still don’t understand why places don’t use a “snake” line to avoid issues of “who is next”? They are still pushing the valet and bell hop service and frown upon customers pulling into the covered dive up area to drop off passengers or unload luggage unless you use the valet and bell hop service. Room was clean and as expected, we have stayed before, so we knew the room would be smaller than at the Music Road Resort. This room, 356, has the bunk bed section separated and an extra sink and mirror in the area between. View is of the roof of the covered entryway and valet station. We really didn’t care, we got a decent price on the room at the last minute for this trip. Other than from a pool view room, you don’t have much to look at here anyway. Sadly, after the second night, the room hadn’t been cleaned and made up when we returned when we returned after seeing a show. One reason we stay in hotels instead of condos is the daily cleaning and make up service. A true “resort” commanding the high prices this one does, should have adequate staff to clean and make up the rooms in a timely manner. The elf serving hot cider in the lobby was a nice touch. The trolley to DW is a time and money saver. Drivers Betty and Jimmy were very competent and informative! We ate late one night in the lounge and Anastasia took good care of us. The $14.xx club sandwich there was possibly the best we’ve ever had. The lounge is kind of on one side of a hallway leading to the buffet. It’s so poorly done, it’s like they want you to continue to the buffet and ignore the lounge. Because the clerk was mistaken about my payment situation upon checking in, I chose to go to the front desk to get a paper receipt to verify before I left that I was charged correctly. The payment info was correct at that time. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t automatically email a receipt on the morning of departure to save time. Having my card on file, if we had added charges on the day we left they could still bill me for those. We do like staying here, but as we get older, some things aren’t perfect: - All the elevators are off to one side. Makes for a long walk to some rooms. - The Hotel does not have an indoor hot tub. - Not being okay to pull up to the front door to unload guests without using the valet. Why.... just why? - The closest parking spots to the entrance aren’t handicapped, but valet. Valet could be a mile away, they are being paid to move vehicles. Handicap spaces should be the closest. - The height of the beds is unhandy if you have hip or leg problems. A lot of hotels seem to think higher is better. Well, it really isn’t. - The trolley to DW is nice, but their steps can be a bit much if you have any mobility issues. DisneyWorld buses have a feature that allows the bus to lower which puts the first step almost on the ground and only a couple more steps. Overall, a good stay. Thankfully we got a decent rate. Probably our third favorite place to stay in the area.
