A very quiet and clean place to stay. A little outdated but the rooms were a great size.It was within walking distance to manyou shops and restaurants. Only bad thing is the laundry facility wasnt usable at that time.

"Great location/stay but needs a little love :)"
August, 2016
Great location, AWESOME pool, creek view is awesome, but the rooms are def in need of some remodeling (especially the bath), but overall was pleased with the stay.
Tip: Very convenient location with an awesome little pizza place a short walk away (Geno's). But not in the middle of all of the chaos. Went during peak season, so a little pricey, but was satisfied and had a great stay!

"stay away"

I have traveled many places here and abroad, but never have experienced anything this horrible. there were huge unidentified stains.. mold in the fridge, some one prior to us, had left a food carry out carton, and soda in the fridge... the trash can by the elevators were full for 2 days. unable to get a refund, paid in advance. this place doesn't even deserve one star... please stay far away from this place,,,

"Affordable Stay"
July, 2016
Nice place for a stay located near many area attractions and a short drive to the Smokies. I liked that it was far enough from the busy downtown area yet close enough to enjoy all of Gatlinburg. Had an issue with our first room but was quickly accommodated to another. The small seating area on the back with the river view was very relaxing. Staff was peasant and very accommodating.

"Nice affordable getaway"
July, 2015
The resort was well located, close to everything, but away from the busier part of town. Easy access to both the Smokey Mountains and Pigeon Forge attractions. Comfortable accomodations with a lovely patio overlooking a running stream. Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was not what I had hoped for, but over all a good place to stay.

"Good place to stay !!"
July, 2015
I stayed at the brookside resort with my girlfriend and our son for our vacation . Our three nights there were great , it was quiet not too crowded. The a/c worked great, room was nice and clean. You have your own little patio with a couple chairs and a small table. It less then half a mile down the road from all the main attractions such as the Ripleys aquarium. I'd definitely book another vacation here

"Great Stay"
July, 2015
My husband and I stayed here in April. The price was awesome! The room wasn't anything spectacular but it was doable. I'm very picky when it comes to staying at hotels or anywhere other than my home. But I survived staying here! The creekside is gorgeous if you get the right angle. Very peaceful. We slept with the window open and I've never slept so good! My husband had their breakfast and said it was good. We have recommended this place to friends and family and have said to stay here again on our next vacation. Oh, and for us it was in the perfect location. Right down the road from the the Gatlinburg strip and not too far from a place we love eating at!
Tip: what you see on the website is not what you may see in person. But that's for anywhere you stay.

My daughter and son in law stayed 3 nights for around $150 and I paid around $100 for one night. They first put me in a room in the older side of the property and it smelled like smoke. I asked to me moved and they did but I got over charged.

We had a nice stay at Brookside Resort last weekend for Encounter 2017. We have stayed here before and were treated well both times by the staff. They are very accommodating. The rooms are clean and very roomy, especially for teenagers.

I booked at Brookside on a whim when I decided I needed a weekend away to recharge from my crazy work schedule. I looked on many different sites at reviews and they were all good so I went ahead and booked. My room was a little outdated decoration wise (dark paneling, older carpet) but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. I was only in my room to sleep so I wasn't too concerned about the appearance. I love that all of the rooms overlook the river and I could hear it from inside my room, which helped me sleep like a baby all weekend. My room was cleaned by housekeeping each day which was nice. The staff was friendly and though I didn't get to enjoy breakfast because I slept in each day I've been told it's delicious. The wifi didn't work in my room which in normal cases would have been upsetting but since I was looking to unplug for the weekend it was a welcome surprise to not have it work. I probably would have been tempted to stay in my room watching netflix had it worked but this forced me to get out and about and actually read a book for a change versus being connected to my computer. I think my favorite part of the resort is that it's off the main parkway so it was easy to get in and out driving wise and it meant that it was quiet. I also felt completely safe, which was needed because I was traveling solo. I am already looking at future dates to come back and stay again!

WE booked this trip for our 1st wedding Anniversary. Having 5 small children warrants a couples only week. We arrived and found out we didn't need firewood in our room, because we didn't reserve a room w a fireplace. OK- We go to our room, which is Creekside. As soon as we opened the door, it was over. Room was outdated, cob webs, mold. Non- Refundable room, great! Then we turn the heat on and the overpowering smell of urine happened. We went to the front desk and the older lady working there told us, " It must have been a bear" my husband is a HVAC tech so that was not gonna fly. She gave us air freshener and said maintence would come the next day. Never did. Then we did not have hot water for 3 days. The hot water heater broke and no one told us and they said they were booked when we asked to move bc of the urine. We were going to head home but decided to ask one more time to move. We moved to the most amazing room on the 4th floor of the other building. All new and remodeled. Our last 2 nights was amazing. Be really careful when booking what room you pick. 5 horrible days at the Bates Motel, and 2 fantastic ones in a beautiful room.

I was skeptical I'll admit because I had never stayed there but it's so cozy and quiet and yet minutes from all the hustle and bustle of downtown Gatlinburg. Our room was clean and the staff was very nice and friendly. We will definitely be staying again!
