Trust me. Do yourself a favor and NEVER stay at this horrible establishment. We drove 8 hours through the night on our way to Gatlinburg and planned to stay the night somewhere in the Sevierville area. We booked online with this hotel and let them know we would be arriving in the middle of the night (they stated that they had a 24 hour check in desk). We were so tired and kept wanting to stop somewhere along the way, but we couldn’t since we had already made reservations here. So we just pushed through and kept driving. When we finally made it, we waited over 20 minutes outside ringing the bell and calling the hotel phone with no answer. We found a side door to get in, and had to walk around the hotel until we found someone who worked the front desk. He looked up our name and said they did not have a reservation for us. We showed him our confirmation email with our booking number and everything, but he just shrugged it off and said he couldn’t do anything for us. He said they did have some available rooms but they would be double the price we paid for when we booked. What an absolute crock of crap. This guy had no remorse and could care less that we drove for hours to stay at this pathetic hotel. Obviously we didn’t pay the ridiculous amount, and drove a few miles down the road to the Howard Johnson who gave us a room for half the price of the Smoky View and did so with a smile and wonderful customer service. The worst part is, when we left the Smoky View, I got online to look for another hotel and came across the Smoky View’s rates for that night and they were $30 cheaper than what the guy at the front desk told us they were. What a scam. How do you sleep at night knowing you are taking advantage of people? People who literally just wanted a bed to sleep in for a few hours. Obviously the Smoky View forgot what keeps hotels in business. THE GUESTS. Great job, guys! Keep up the crappy work. Maybe it will help shut down this terrible place sooner than later.

We stayed here while coming to see Christmas lights. It was close to the interstate and close to shadrack's Christmas wonderland. We literally just was at the hotel to sleep. The appearance was good. The breakfast was ok. The beds in the room was comfortable. They were a lot lower to the floor than most hotels but it did not affect the quality of sleep. The pool we did not use but there was steam coming off the water so it looked like the water would be nice and warm. The pool room itself was not in the greatest shape, there were ceiling tiles missing and water seemed to be leaking in the room. Staff was friendly and accomadating when we asked for extra towels. All in all it was a good stay.

My family and I decided to try a hotel instead of a cabin this time and we made the best choice ever by staying here. The rooms were great, the location was perfect for everything that we wanted to do. The staff was phenomenal and friendly. I'll definitely stay here again!

We were at this establishment on October 7th and I had booked through expedia. This is definately not what I was expecting. The photos from the website and what we actually had was not the same. Hotel is very run down and it appears they are trying to update it, however, it needs major renovations! For the price we paid, we could have stayed somewhere much closer to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. The carpet was nasty, the beds were hard, the pillows were like throw pillows, there was a cockroach in the bathroom, there was only 2 towels for a room that sleeps 4, balcony would be great with updated chairs and sweep off the balcony, when we came in on Saturday night and opened the door to the 1st floor the smell of marijuana would knock you down, there were 2 kids about 7-8 yoa roaming the halls alone, the drink machines would accept bills and the front desk didn't have change and could have cared less, it was raining inside the indoor pool me when I say...JUST DON'T.

This is no long a Baymont not Wyndham hotel. I had reservations and was never notified of the change. I booked online through Wyndham and was never told about the change. I checked in anyway. My credit card was charged ASAP! Went to the room and it was not what I booked. I went back to the front desk and all they could say was that I needed to call Wyndham and book another hotel. This was a very busy weekend in Pigeon Forge and very little availability. So, I’m 4 hours from home with no room. SMH Disgusted at both this hotel and Wyndham. The outside does look very ran down.
