Tennessee Shindig Show in Pigeon Forge Tennessee

Get ready for a shindig, a brand new spectacular theatrical production! (The theater has changed and has new theater seating as well.)

The theater offers visitors a unique way to experience and celebrate the Volunteer State’s rich musical legacy while having a toe-tappin’, hand clappin’, knee-slappin’ good time. Dancing, music and humor abound in this fast-paced production, which includes classic and modern country, Elvis, blues, Dolly, bluegrass, Southern gospel and all the great music Tennessee has produced over the years. This year the theater is excited to add a featured performer section of the show. Performing for us starting in March will be Cody Slaughter, an Elvis Tribute Artist, who will knock your socks off with his hip shakin'. Cody is only 17 years old and already has won the People's Choice Award at Graceland at the 2008 competition.

Our first half of the show tells the story of Tennessee music. Tennessee boasts some of the richest musical roots of any state, so we've created a top-notch professional production that entertains you on so many levels, from the dancing to the humor to the instrumentalists. It's jam-packed with clean comedy for the whole family, and leaves you with an appreciation of the state's heritage.

The second half of this all-new presentation, though, gives the award winning cast a chance to exhibit their exceptional talents in other areas of music and dance by performing the music of the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. You'll enjoy more of Elvis, as well as other musical styles.

The second half of the show is a taste of everything. Our excellent entertainers show off with some of your favorite songs from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Mix in with that some gospel and patriotic numbers and you’ve got yourself a show that’s bound to please everyone.

The theater, which is located at traffic light #2 on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, next to the National Parks Resort Lodge, can accommodate up to 1000 for each performance. Children 10 and under are free of charge, one per paying adult.
