Your rafting trip and horseback ride does not need to be completed on the same day, but during one visit to the area. Please note age and weight restrictions. Refunds are handled through Rafting in the Smokies.

RAFTING IN THE SMOKIES
Upper Section (Pigeon River)
The Big Pigeon River boasts twelve class III and three class IV whitewater thrilling rapids! Accompanied by one of Rafting in the Smokies professional river guides, you'll be escorted down five miles of lively whitewater, rafting through class III & IV rapids.
No Experience Necessary - Minimum age: 8 years old or 70 lbs. - 1 ½ hr of spectacular whitewater

Lower River Float Trip:
Looking for a way to really relax and enjoy nature’s beauty or rafting with children under 70 lbs? It is perfect for everyone 3 years old and up! Rafting in the Smokies will assist you, your family and friends down approximately six miles of relaxing waves and rippling mountain water. No Experience Necessary - Minimum age: 5 years old - (Horse back ride is 5 yrs. and up) -2 hours - Introductory whitewater - Length of rafting trip - 6 miles

SMOKY MOUNTAIN RIDING STABLES
We are an established horseback riding stable and have been in operation for over 20 years. No experience is necessary to ride. All horseback rides are great for beginner through advanced riders and our 40 head of well trained & experienced mountain trail horses makes for a fantastic ride. Their sizes range from 13 to 17 hands tall to meet the needs of all our riders. Due to the natural Great Smoky Mountains National Park terrain, our guided horseback rides are at walking pace.
For ages 5 years old & up - Maximum weight is no more than 225 lbs. -No Doubling up with Children – Ride is weather permitting

Please note- Package is a 48 hour notice to cancel, and the package must be used during one visit to the area. The horseback ride and rafting trip do not need to be enjoyed on the same day. Good for 2009 season only. Horseback rides are available, weather permitting, every day. Rafting rides are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursday s, and Saturdays. We raft in all fair and rainy weather.
