"Very pretty at night"

The Island is a nice little shopping area and the wheel is pretty all lit up at night and the fountain is really nice. Lots of little shops and an arcade and food. Trolley ride from parking, but my little one freaked so we didn't get to ride after we bought the tickets..lol

"Short ride, big bucks"

Rode twice, once in the daytime and once at night during Dollywood fireworks. It's kinda a must do in PF, but pricey. Fortunately wife didn't want to ride, but still 1 adult, 1 teen, 1 child = $30 with coupon. For 4 revolutions. Best to ride when busy (night) because you spend more time on wheel during load unload cycles.
Tip: Ride when busy, especiailly during fireworks at Dollywood. And use coupons!

"Terrifying"

I'm not even sure how to rate this lol I'm saying 5 stars because the kids loved it! I cried...I'm terrified of heights but was hoping to get out of my comfort zone a little in order for them to have fun. The view from the wheel is beautiful. When I was able to finally open my eyes, I took a few pictures from the top.
Tip: Do not do this if you don't like heights

The ride offers an awesome view! The air inside the cabin wasn't working so it was horribly hot that day. Also, tickets were pretty pricey. It was fun, for a splurge, but I probably wouldn't do it every time we visit. They also catch you after the ride and try to sell you pictures.

My tween/teenagers rode this ride without us. Two of them got off, but the door closed on my 12 year old daughter. She had to ride--hysterically crying--for 10 more minutes before they would let her off. Absolutely horrible experience. Never again.

Seriously, don't even go to it. You park a half mile away..... get there and find out you have to drop $50 for a family of four. You get four circles around a Ferris wheel. Seriously, the absolute worst way to blow your money in Pigeon Forge. BUT..... if you're loaded and $ is no issue.... you ...... nah, get take a helicopter ride for near the same price. No reason to go here, period.

"Super comfortable, overpriced"

This is the most comfortable ferris wheel I have ever been on, so I can understand why it would be more than the average carnival one. The price for 2 adults and a kid came to $37 for a ride that went around 4 times on a very un-busy day, which seemed excessive to me. Still, it does give you a great view while at the top and the closed cabins enable you to go no matter what the weather is (a chilly spring day when we went).

SO HIGH. This thing is huge. We took 3 kids and a grandma on it and had a great time. We laughed and laughed because we were all somewhat horrified as it just got higher and higher. After the first couple rounds it was better and we really enjoyed it. The only issue I had was when we were entering the wheel and they require you to take a photo. We didn't want to and the person in front of us declined and we did as well. We got major attitude from the staff. We politely declined. The staff rudely replied "well, it's my job". We declined again. My 9 year old even asked me why the staff was so rude. The staff loading people onto the wheel were friendly. It was a bit pricey but was a good time for the family.
