"Photo Scam"
June, 2017
Beware of the pictures scam! Similar hustle as others wrote about. "Today" the pictures are only 20 bucks, BS sales pitch. Not bad except when they took my picture, I was wearing a green hat that made my head disappear. The "Photographers" said the picture would be corrected in the online download, yea right. CUSTOMER SERVICE is non existent. The parent company is based in the United Arabs Emirates. No presence in the US to address my loss. So Im out 20 dollars-Beware.

"Very pretty at night"

The Island is a nice little shopping area and the wheel is pretty all lit up at night and the fountain is really nice. Lots of little shops and an arcade and food. Trolley ride from parking, but my little one freaked so we didn't get to ride after we bought the tickets..lol

"Short ride, big bucks"
July, 2016
Rode twice, once in the daytime and once at night during Dollywood fireworks. It's kinda a must do in PF, but pricey. Fortunately wife didn't want to ride, but still 1 adult, 1 teen, 1 child = $30 with coupon. For 4 revolutions. Best to ride when busy (night) because you spend more time on wheel during load unload cycles.

"Amazing views on a clear day"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

We went on Thanksgiving day, around 11 am and walked right on. No wait except to get in our car, which we had to ourselves. It was a crystal clear day, and the attendant at our station gave us advice on which side to sit on to have the best view. He gave us facts about the wheel and was very friendly. The ride was three full rotations and took about 6 minutes - but was worth it - totally gorgeous!

"Rain hampered view"

It started to rain just as we got on the wheel so view and pictures were hampered. We did get to go around several times but seemed a bit pricy. (about $15 each)
