"The BEST!!!!"
July, 2018
My granddaughters absolutely love this place. They could spend all day here. They really enjoy the fact that you can use the unlimited arm band for 48 hours. I bring them back and they ride and play their little hearts out. I do recommend having move stuff for smaller children that are only 34 or 35 inches tall. My youngest granddaughter had a ball but couldn't ride some of the rides that she would have loved to ride. :(

"If you must, do it during the day"

I happened to get on right at the end of sunset, so the first half of my ride was in the light and the second half of my ride was in the dark. There is almost zero view of anything in the dark and I would caution against going after the sun is down. I'm not sure I'd even do it during the day. Pigeon Forge is not London or Las Vegas or Singapore, other cities with huge ferris wheels. There's just not that much to see. At $14 a person ($12 with an easy to find coupon) I still felt this was expensive. A family of 4 would be better spent putting $50 toward something that lasts longer than 10 minutes. The ride itself was very smooth and the cabin cool and comfortable. The staff was nice, although the line moved slowly because they were only loading about a ¼ of the wheel. I'd definitely go back to the Island, but I don't think I'd ride this again.

I really enjoyed my experience on this ride. If you or the person with you is afraid of heights, it can be a little scary, but I really think you'll be glad you did it at the end of it all. You get a great view up there, and your little sitting area is comfortable and climate-controlled. I think the nice cool air blowing on us also helped the person with me who isn't a fan of heights. Anyways, you get a great view up there and a decently long ride. I didn't love paying 20 something dollars for the two of us, but at least they offer $2 off coupons online..and I think it's worth it in the long run. I enjoyed looking at everything and am glad we went on it at night. Highly recommend!

The views from the Skywheel are breathtaking, especially at sunset and dusk! This is definitely a must do when you visit the Island! You get plenty of time on the ride to sit back and enjoy the views, and it’s also nice that each gondola is climate controlled! We will definitely ride again!
