My favorite part of the walk through was the old tour guide. He absolutely played his part. Really enjoyed this experience with my daughters & would recommend anyone traveling to Gatlinburg to add this fun activity to their list of to do.

The last time we visited our kids were 2 and 3, now 8 and 9. They had a blast. Only trouble we had was waiting on a manager to process our vouchers.

Don’t underestimate this experience. Our seven-year-old couldn’t wait to go in and came out petrified. It’s fairly lengthy and the line was not too bad. Employees take it pretty seriously and sell it well. Worth the money.

We had a group of 7 with ages from 23-55. The experience starts with a ride up a cable car and the host giving you instructions. You walk through with your hand on the person in front of you because there are some dark places. There are some good effects and per other comments there are 2-4 actors. Our group had a good time and enjoyed the experience. There is a surprise at the end that we loved. There was no one that chased us with a chainsaw per other comments that I saw. I will say younger children would probably be too scared so I wouldn't recommend for younger children. On another note, I have worked in haunted houses in the past and I find it hard to be scared going through haunted houses. I look at the effects and make-up and it is a visual experience for me. So, that being said, it did not scare me but I enjoy watching the people with me getting scared. Overall, our group did enjoy and we had a good laugh at some of the members with us.

"BEST SCARY HAUNTED HOUSE"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

This was the BEST haunted house I ever been to. At first, I was disappointed because you are not allowed to take any pictures. They also sell you these $2 flashlights which they suck for lighting. They can be used as a souvenir instead. As you walk in, you ride a shaky rusty elevator going up. Which I thought was pretty neat. From there on, you're on your own. This haunted house has soo many cool and unique rooms. There was a part where you were looking for an exit and couldn't seem to find it. That was my favorite room. There are other cool parts, but I don't want to spoil it. I wouldn't recommend this haunted house for kids. It's too scary for them. Other than that, I would def. go again.

The haunted house was lots of fun. A couple of actors were texting. Texting isn't scary. Might as well just have an automated haunt without actors. I always expect a lot out of every Ripley's attraction. This could have easily been much better.

It was a lot of fun, as long as you like this type of thing. You do have to wait in line for the right number of people to come up and then you are put in a group. Our group of 4 was combined with another group of 4. Someone had to be the leader and the rest had to hold on to hands or sleeves so there's a chance you may be holding onto a stranger if they have to combine groups. The effects were good. The only bad part was waiting at the beginning. There was a really grumpy guy who didn't really tell us anything about why we were waiting but we decided it was all part of the "show" and didn't let it bother us!
