Many bizarre items, unique art pieces, games and interactive displays. Take time to read the informative placards with each exhibit. Great indoor family fun, especially on a rainy or hot afternoon. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to climb a few stairs.

The last time we visited our kids were 2 and 3, now 8 and 9. They had a blast. Only trouble we had was waiting on a manager to process our vouchers.

"Loved it"

My son, 17, is still talking about this place. That makes my heart smile :) I was able to get several pictures and will try to share some. This was a very interesting tour. We booked it on a rainy day so that we would be inside and it was perfect because we spent a couple hours at least. The museum exit brings you into an arcade so that is even more fun for the kids.

We had to cancel one of our reservation and had a credit it use so we choose the Ripley's Believe It or Not. It was very interesting and entertaining. I would recommend this for all ages. There's a couple of rooms of interactive stuff, fun for kids and adults.

"Good for kids"

I found Ripleys a little faded and worn. The interactive exhibits (shadow wall and games room) were the most fun. But mostly I was bored and underwhelmed. As a kid, this place was cool. But I think it needs a facelift in order to be relevant and competitive w the more modern attractions.

"Ripley's Museum Adventure"

This place truly was an extremely strange, over the top, but fun place to visit. There were some interesting exhibits to see and read about, but there were also some disturbing things that might not be age appropriate for young children. The scariest thing about this place is that everything that you read about on display was actually real! Believe it or not!

Tip: You will need to prepare to walk many short stair cases and do a lot reading at the exhibits. I wouldnt reccomend taking really young children.

"OK, Not for Kids"
April, 2015
My husband and I saw some interesting items, it wasnt worth the fare. My kids didnt like it not one bit (12,9,7 year olds). We killed some time just not at the price we would have liked. If you have kids I would skip it.

We would have loved visiting Ripleys believe it or not museum, however, they are currently closed for remodeling, the entire outside of the building has scaffolding erected around it, “believe it or not”! They plan on being reopened summer 2018 with a new updated look and displays. “As per their webpage”

"A Very Interactive Place"

It was crowded while we were there but that's just Gatlinburg. Upon entering, you are given a card that you can set up to use to try to break a record. There are a lot of interactive activities to do and they make you believe that you are actually attempting to break a record but there are signs on some of the machines stating that it cannot be considered as a record breaker. Also, there should be more of a flow to doing things because you get some people who will stay on a certain activity for a while with others are waiting to get their chance at it. Its more of a take your time concept. We were probably in there about 45 minutes. If you are interested in the World Records then it is very informative reading about them and trying your hand at beating them.

We all loved this place. Our boys are ages 10 & 6 and they both enjoyed it. There was a lot to do. You can do the interactive exhibits over & over again which was a plus! You get a “card” & can make your own avatar in the beginning. You then scan your card at each exhibit & try to “beat” or “see how close you get” to the world records... Very entertaining! We spent a few hours playing :)
