My son, 17, is still talking about this place. That makes my heart smile :) I was able to get several pictures and will try to share some. This was a very interesting tour. We booked it on a rainy day so that we would be inside and it was perfect because we spent a couple hours at least. The museum exit brings you into an arcade so that is even more fun for the kids.
Tip: make sure you're ready to spend money at the arcade :)

We had to cancel one of our reservation and had a credit it use so we choose the Ripley's Believe It or Not. It was very interesting and entertaining. I would recommend this for all ages. There's a couple of rooms of interactive stuff, fun for kids and adults.
Tip: Take your time and enjoy. Believe It or Not! It was fun.

"Good for kids"

I found Ripleys a little faded and worn. The interactive exhibits (shadow wall and games room) were the most fun. But mostly I was bored and underwhelmed. As a kid, this place was cool. But I think it needs a facelift in order to be relevant and competitive w the more modern attractions.
Tip: If you're afraid of the dark there are some areas you won't enjoy in this exhibit.

We enjoyed all the exciting mysteries that we saw and read about. It was what we expected and had a nice, relaxing time away from the busy world outside.
Tip: Loads of interesting things to read about and a chance to actually take it easy.

This place truly was an extremely strange, over the top, but fun place to visit. There were some interesting exhibits to see and read about, but there were also some disturbing things that might not be age appropriate for young children. The scariest thing about this place is that everything that you read about on display was actually real! Believe it or not!
Tip: You will need to prepare to walk many short stair cases and do a lot reading at the exhibits. I wouldnt reccomend taking really young children.

"OK, Not for Kids"
Reviewed April, 2015
My husband and I saw some interesting items, it wasnt worth the fare. My kids didnt like it not one bit (12,9,7 year olds). We killed some time just not at the price we would have liked. If you have kids I would skip it.
Tip: if you do go get the combo pass

Museum was interesting / crowded at spots / stairs to go up.
Was upset when presenting pre-purchased ticket & was told I had to go to aquarium to get official ticket to go in.
Had to wait for manager to override & let us in.
Tip: Takes awile but is interesting

I really enjoyed the ripley's believe it or not museum. It had a lot of different and interesting things. My only issue was that it was super crowded and I couldn't really take the time to look at everything as much as I would have liked.
Tip: The first time we tried to go in the employee behind the counter said that he could not take our reserve gatlinburg e-tickets, the second employee we spoke to said yes they could take them and let us in.

We took our family here and all the kids had a great time! I would recommend this for all ages! All the kids got a kick out of reading all the interesting facts. Our younger kids loved the hands on games they had like the big Operation game. It was nice that it's self guided so we could take our time. They offered wax hands of your own hands that I thought was really cool! We will be going back on our next visit to Gatlinburg.

It's just like the other Ripley's. It's cool. When we went it was busy so we could really read everything and enjoy it like we wanted. Other than that, it was good.
