This was the highlight of our vacation! The teenagers enjoyed the birds. It is a beautiful peaceful place. We enjoyed feeding the nectar to the birds and getting our pic taken for a small fee! Our whole family enjoyed the visit

Tip: The parking is pretty bad and the parking lot is very steep! It levels out a little inside

"Fantastic Visit"
August, 2016
This was an amazing visit for our group. We had 15 people with us at the time of our visit and the staff made sure everyone had a wonderful time. They made sure our pictures were beautiful and that the kids handled as many birds as they wanted to. The grounds were clean and beautiful and all of the birds looked well kept and taken care of. This was one of the kids favorite experiences over our vacation. Thanks for having us and we will definitely be back to visit!

"Great time"
June, 2016
I love going here, I try to go every trip! I love interacting with the birds and I have a few favorite ones I go see. Some can be a little crabby and bite you when you try to feed them so watch out on that. Good fun and so relaxing.

"Very disappointed"
June, 2016
I was at parrot mountain today. I came with my handicap neice. She don't walk, talk or understand. Someone told ask about taking the golf cart. We didn't get to see everything. Never went to garden of Eden. But you charged me for a childs rate and 25.00 for the golf cart. I just think you should of waved the cart fee. It was not easy to push her up to the entrance. Just think you should be alittle more kinder to handicap children/young adults. I know not all handicap are the same.

"Fantastic Trip for Bird Lovers"
October, 2015
It was an amazing and breathtaking experience for avian fanatics. My boyfriend who isn't into birds loved it because he was able to interact with each unique bird with its own talent. I love seeing them not being trapped in their cages and move freely. I really enjoyed feeding nectar to the lorikeets. They eat very quickly and love shiny things. Definitely worth my entire wallet. I drove from the Northeast just for this and I was not disappointed. Wish TN wasn't so far away!

Tip: The mountain is extremely steep and the roads are super windy!!! Please drive carefully. I wish they had a little bus that could pick up everyone from the bottom.

"Beauty and Paradise"

Parrot Mountain is without a doubt our favorite attraction in all of the Smoky Mountains. This was our 2nd trip here and it won't be our last. There is beauty everywhere you look here. There are various birds from around the world all right in one spot. What a wonderful thing they do for these beautiful creatures by taking them in and then share them with the rest of the world. Being a mom to a parrot of my own, I very much appreciate the time and work that they have to put in for this many birds. When you are there be sure to take the time to visit and talk to these beautiful birds, you will be amazed at the reactions you get from them, they truly are intelligent beings. This is a unique opportunity to hold and interact with some of God's most beautiful creations. The Prayer Garden is tranquil and a Paradise of it's own, I enjoyed my time there. The staff here could not be friendlier and are very helpful. There is some uphill walking, be prepared and wear sensible shoes. There is a nice gift shop and a spot to grab some lunch. Look for the chipmunks scurrying about-so cute! We truly love this wonderful attraction!

This is a great experience! Definitely do it! They have lots of different, beautiful parrots, as well as some small gardens. You can get your picture taken holding one. They will even put them on your shoulder. It’s a fun experience, and shouldn’t be overlooked. Oh yeah, there are some that you can pet, and they are SO SOFT.

"Go See the Birds and Prayer Garden"

I recently brought my 8 year old on a field trip here. The highlight for us were the 2 places where you can feed the birds, the bird show and the prayer garden. In fact it's been a few weeks since we have been and he is still talking about seeing the tomb where Jesus was buried!

"Family getaway in Pigeon Forge"

What can I say that other travelers haven't? Turns out not much. This place is absolutely incredible. The beauty of the wide variety of birds and the mountains really make this place special. Located just outside of Pigeon Forge off Veterans Hwy. Not overly crowded at 10am when we arrived. It is steep in parts of the walking tour but the elder members of our party managed. The workers were kind enough to give them a golf cart ride back to the parking area. I highly recommend a visit.
