"Great time"

I love going here, I try to go every trip! I love interacting with the birds and I have a few favorite ones I go see. Some can be a little crabby and bite you when you try to feed them so watch out on that. Good fun and so relaxing.

"Very disappointed"
Reviewed June, 2016
I was at parrot mountain today. I came with my handicap neice. She don't walk, talk or understand. Someone told ask about taking the golf cart. We didn't get to see everything. Never went to garden of Eden. But you charged me for a childs rate and 25.00 for the golf cart. I just think you should of waved the cart fee. It was not easy to push her up to the entrance. Just think you should be alittle more kinder to handicap children/young adults. I know not all handicap are the same.
Tip: If pushing a wheelchair think twice about going.

"Fantastic Trip for Bird Lovers"
Reviewed October, 2015
It was an amazing and breathtaking experience for avian fanatics. My boyfriend who isn't into birds loved it because he was able to interact with each unique bird with its own talent. I love seeing them not being trapped in their cages and move freely. I really enjoyed feeding nectar to the lorikeets. They eat very quickly and love shiny things. Definitely worth my entire wallet. I drove from the Northeast just for this and I was not disappointed. Wish TN wasn't so far away!
Tip: The mountain is extremely steep and the roads are super windy!!! Please drive carefully. I wish they had a little bus that could pick up everyone from the bottom.

"not pleased"

i was very disappointed with this trip, very poor customer service, workers were 15 minutes late opening the park and were rude after they finally opened, the lady at the ticket office got smart with my mom. the birds are neat to see and fed but cost way too much for the little bit of food you get
Tip: be prepared to be nickled and dimed to feed the birds

We went to it and was amazed at all of the parrots and other birds they had. You walk up to the place and there is several birds on perches. It was another place where you took all of the time or took as little as you wanted. There were birds to feed. Some in screened in areas that you could feed and they loved to land on you. If you didn't want to go in you didn't have to. There were talking birds baby parrots that you could hold. It too had benches you could set on and rest. Lots of beautiful flowers too. Little and big were enjoying it while we were there. We enjoyed it and its such a restful place.
Tip: Be aware that you will want to go back

"Parrot Mountain"
Reviewed February, 2015
My husband wasn't even thrilled about going here. And now that's all he ever talks about and wants to go back. He was impressed about the birds talking to you throughout the park.
Tip: If you go on a day when its extremely hot, trust me, it's even hotter on that mountain.

On a day that was around 100 degrees this was great place to go. It is shaded and beautiful. We love the birds and being able to hold them and feed them. It is worth the extra 2 dollars to feed the Lorikeets if you love birds landing on you! Great family place!

We were told that to do the park properly to devote about an hour and a half stay here. We were there for about 2 hours. If you are a bird enthusiast, have birds as pets or just love nature this is the place to be! We loved the ability to hold the birds and feed them! The birds are beyond colorful and many talk! The icing on the cake are the beautiful gardens that is devoted to scripture. The man who is responsible for the property was a very spiritual person and the balance between Christian values, nature and the love of our furry friends makes for a true treat. Don't miss it if you are in Pigeon Forge. It's a great experience!

"Unique, Interesting and Fun"

We visited with our kids ages 7 and 5. They loved it! From the moment you walk in you are surrounded by birds of all colors and plumages. They are beautiful. The staff are very helpful. My son loved holding the birds and spent about and hour in the feeding area with a very helpful young staff member who had him hold every single bird that was available to hold! My daughter was a bit skittish at first, but one of the young ladies took the time to sit with her and show her one of the parrots you could hold like a baby! My kids have already asked to go back again tomorrow! Hint: there are discounts for the tickets in many of the coupon books for the area. There is also a store at The Island that sells discounted tickets, too.

"Great exposure to exotic birds"

Took our young grandchildren here. The 6 year old was good observing at a distance but the 4 year old enjoyed having the small bird perched on his arm eating from his hand. They both loved seeing us in the aviary with birds perched all over us eating nectar from a cup. When we finished they wanted to walk through again. Beautiful birds lovely floral setting. Be aware this is truly set on a mountain side so you are climbing along a path and while paved, it might be a challenge for those with walking difficulties.
