"Beautiful"
August, 2016
This was the highlight of our vacation! The teenagers enjoyed the birds. It is a beautiful peaceful place. We enjoyed feeding the nectar to the birds and getting our pic taken for a small fee! Our whole family enjoyed the visit
Tip: The parking is pretty bad and the parking lot is very steep! It levels out a little inside

"Fantastic Visit"
August, 2016
This was an amazing visit for our group. We had 15 people with us at the time of our visit and the staff made sure everyone had a wonderful time. They made sure our pictures were beautiful and that the kids handled as many birds as they wanted to. The grounds were clean and beautiful and all of the birds looked well kept and taken care of. This was one of the kids favorite experiences over our vacation. Thanks for having us and we will definitely be back to visit!
Tip: Bring your camera and be prepared to walk uphill and down.

"Great time"

I love going here, I try to go every trip! I love interacting with the birds and I have a few favorite ones I go see. Some can be a little crabby and bite you when you try to feed them so watch out on that. Good fun and so relaxing.

"Very disappointed"
June, 2016
I was at parrot mountain today. I came with my handicap neice. She don't walk, talk or understand. Someone told ask about taking the golf cart. We didn't get to see everything. Never went to garden of Eden. But you charged me for a childs rate and 25.00 for the golf cart. I just think you should of waved the cart fee. It was not easy to push her up to the entrance. Just think you should be alittle more kinder to handicap children/young adults. I know not all handicap are the same.
Tip: If pushing a wheelchair think twice about going.

"Fantastic Trip for Bird Lovers"
October, 2015
It was an amazing and breathtaking experience for avian fanatics. My boyfriend who isn't into birds loved it because he was able to interact with each unique bird with its own talent. I love seeing them not being trapped in their cages and move freely. I really enjoyed feeding nectar to the lorikeets. They eat very quickly and love shiny things. Definitely worth my entire wallet. I drove from the Northeast just for this and I was not disappointed. Wish TN wasn't so far away!
Tip: The mountain is extremely steep and the roads are super windy!!! Please drive carefully. I wish they had a little bus that could pick up everyone from the bottom.

The parrots and cockatoos were so brilliant in color and seemed to be well cared for. Several of them "spoke"to us as we walked along the garden paths. Our group held a few for photos.

My son REALLY wanted to visit this place. I didn't. I'm not a big fan of birds and thought that our time could be better spent on other things. However, he decided this was THE thing he wanted to see. I gotta admit, it was fun. Many of the birds are in cages along a path as one walks through the property but there is a large area where there are several birds on perches that you can walk among. Some of them you can feed and touch - my son was thrilled.

If you love birds, you must visit this place. The atmosphere is so serene and beautiful. The birds are out in the open and some will even talk to you. You can tell that the birds are well cared for and loved. The gardens are beautiful. For $2.00 you can feed the Lory's. When you enter their enclosure with their cup of nectar they all swarm to land on you and drink up. Very exciting. A must do is to feed the parrots at the open area. 25 cents will get you a handful of seed. The birds will gently take it from your hand. You can even handle some of the birds. Some are so friendly that they hop right onto your shoulder. There is a small snack bar and a gift shop on the grounds too. Don't miss the nursery where you can see the babies. There are plenty of places to sit and just enjoy. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

I can't even describe how peaceful it is to visit this place. The folks are friendly, the grounds are gorgeous, and the birds on wonderful. If you have time while in the smokies drop by for a visit. You think it will take just hour but you'll notice you've lost track of time when you leave.
