This was the highlight of our vacation! The teenagers enjoyed the birds. It is a beautiful peaceful place. We enjoyed feeding the nectar to the birds and getting our pic taken for a small fee! Our whole family enjoyed the visit
Tip: The parking is pretty bad and the parking lot is very steep! It levels out a little inside

"Fantastic Visit"
August, 2016
This was an amazing visit for our group. We had 15 people with us at the time of our visit and the staff made sure everyone had a wonderful time. They made sure our pictures were beautiful and that the kids handled as many birds as they wanted to. The grounds were clean and beautiful and all of the birds looked well kept and taken care of. This was one of the kids favorite experiences over our vacation. Thanks for having us and we will definitely be back to visit!
Tip: Bring your camera and be prepared to walk uphill and down.

"Great time"

I love going here, I try to go every trip! I love interacting with the birds and I have a few favorite ones I go see. Some can be a little crabby and bite you when you try to feed them so watch out on that. Good fun and so relaxing.

"Very disappointed"
June, 2016
I was at parrot mountain today. I came with my handicap neice. She don't walk, talk or understand. Someone told ask about taking the golf cart. We didn't get to see everything. Never went to garden of Eden. But you charged me for a childs rate and 25.00 for the golf cart. I just think you should of waved the cart fee. It was not easy to push her up to the entrance. Just think you should be alittle more kinder to handicap children/young adults. I know not all handicap are the same.
Tip: If pushing a wheelchair think twice about going.

"Fantastic Trip for Bird Lovers"
October, 2015
It was an amazing and breathtaking experience for avian fanatics. My boyfriend who isn't into birds loved it because he was able to interact with each unique bird with its own talent. I love seeing them not being trapped in their cages and move freely. I really enjoyed feeding nectar to the lorikeets. They eat very quickly and love shiny things. Definitely worth my entire wallet. I drove from the Northeast just for this and I was not disappointed. Wish TN wasn't so far away!
Tip: The mountain is extremely steep and the roads are super windy!!! Please drive carefully. I wish they had a little bus that could pick up everyone from the bottom.

This is the best kept secret in the area. I always look forward to a peaceful day visiting with the birds and enjoying the gardens every time we come to Pigeon Forge. The prices at the gift shop are great, too, and usually find a few things to bring home and to give as gifts. The birds are wonderful!

I wasn't sure what to expect when my daughter suggested that I visit Parrot Mountain with my grandchildren. I knew that there would be a lot of colorful birds but I was hadn't expected the interactive nature of the park. We spent the afternoon holding and feeding all types of birds that will climb on your arms, shoulders and head for as long as you let them. Each one has it's own personality. When you go, don't miss the baby bird nursery at the end.

Wasn't sure what to expect at this top-rated attraction and am glad to say it lived up to all positive reviews. From the parking lot, you are greeted by the sights and sounds of colorful parrots and beautiful gardens. Admission is a little pricey but worth it. Some birds are in cages, but they seem to be treated well. I was amazed by the variety and brilliant colors of the many birds on display. The Secret Garden was very cool. Take some time to look around carefully as the birds that may be hidden are worth it to find. My one tip is to pay the $15 to get your picture taken with the parrots. They place A LOT of birds on your arms and shoulders and take many photos, including with your personal camera or phone. It was such a cool feeling to have these well-behaved birds perched all over you! Then, you can enjoy the open area where about 50 (or more!) parrots sit on individual perches. You can feed most of them; signs will indicate which ones you should stay away from. And, these birds will also climb onto your hand, arm or shoulder. A truly amazing experience! The handlers all seemed experienced and knowledgeable, not only about the species but about each individual bird. Last but not least, there is a building where the birds are hatched and become acclimated to people. The facility was clean but very loud! There is a lot of walking up steep pathways, so be prepared for that. This is a DO NOT MISS in Pigeon Forge!
