"Super fun??"
August, 2016
Family trip with 10 of us husband, kids, sister and her kids...everyone enjoyed all of the fun. It was very much worth the price too!! You cant go to four different events like that for $28 adults and $18 kids. That's amazing prices for all four!! We highly recommend this to big families looking for something fun to do!!
Tip: Bring your I.D if your using your credit cards.. they won't take them otherwise at the wax museum part. Bring spending money in foe souvenir pics at both locations because they are great! $20 for two pics at wax museum and $20 for 3 pics at castle of chaos, outbreak, and mirror maze!

"Very poor customer service!"
July, 2016
The wax museum was pretty cool once you get inside, however getting inside was the problem. When my wife and I arrived with our 3 kids, there were 2 lines to enter. One marked "Have tickets", and one marked "Need tickets". The "need" tickets line was nearly going out the door it was so full of people. This was when I felt very glad that I had already purchased my tickets online ahead of time. There was no one in the "have" tickets line. My family and I proceeded into the "have" tickets line, where we were immediately told that "even if you have tickets, you still have to wait in the other line." You can imagine my fury. If I thought I would have been able to get my money back, I would have left right then. However, reserve pigeon forge will not allow you to cancel the tickets once you have arrived in town and checked in for your vacation. I was forced to wait in a ridiculously long line with all the people that didn't buy their tickets ahead of time. While waiting in line we decided to take out our cameras to take a picture of the King Kong prop that they have inside, and then we were told that "no pictures were allowed". Seriously?? I paid over $100 to bring my family to this place to see cool attractions and I'm not allowed to take pictures?? Wait, now I know why...They already had their own camera set up so they could take the picture for you and try to sell it to you. As if coming to this town isn't a big enough ripoff in itself. Once we finally got inside, we were allowed to take pictures and I was actually having a pretty good time. I had gotten over my anger and was trying to enjoy myself when all of the sudden, while I was still inside the museum, some strange woman starts asking me about different activities that our family planned on doing. She told me she could save me alot of money on tickets to certain area attractions. After I spent about 20 minutes telling her what all activities we planned on doing, she tried to sell me some kind of time share thing and wanted me to give her the money now and then go spend 90 minutes at some seminar and then they would give me my tickets afterwards. Holy cow man!! Really!! I can't even go inside of the attraction without getting hit up by a salesman. This is like waiting in line at Dollywood to get on the roller coaster and then some salesman trying to sell you something the whole time you are on the ride. What a ripoff!! The maze of mirrors was pretty cool, Outbreak was good, Castle of Chaos just spins in circles and you can't really tell what you are shooting, so it is hard to figure how it calculates your points. Also, if you have a 3 year old with you, they can't get on the ride, so parents have to take turns watching the child while the other one rides with the other children. Problem with this is, all of our tickets were stapled together and the employees punched all 4 tickets when I went in with our first child. Needless to say, when my wife and second child tried to enter, it took us a minute to convince the guy that he had punched all 4 of our tickets while only 2 of us went in. After a minute or 2, he finally "pretended" that he understood, and then he let them go in anyway. I don't think he believed us...

Anyway, Pigeon Forge is a good place to go for vacation if you have a ton of money to throw in the trash. Otherwise, you will realize how much money you lost as soon as you get home.
Tip: Don't buy tickets ahead of time thinking it will save you time once you get there, It won't work. However, if you don't mind being forced to do things a certain way, then this is the place for you.

I loved it. I only wish there were more.they allow you to take all the pictures you want. They even have some props you can use. You can get access to the huge king Kong area and oversee all the area.

On our last full vacation day, rain set in and we resorted to trying out the Hollywood Wax Museum. This was a terrible choice with a lot of people and not anything very excited. We could have spent this money somewhere else and had much more fun.

This was our second visit to this attraction. They had several new displays, but I thought it was a little high priced for a 30-minute walk. The staff did pressure us to buy combo tickets even after saying no they continued. This was disappointing.

This was a pretty interesting visit. I'd never been in a wax museum prior to this so to see the figures is both interesting and a little creepy. Some of the figures are extremely spot on and some are not even close. There was a decent variety of people and groups featured. We did feel a bit pressured by people to get out of the way so they could get photos. It felt like there was not any time to actually stop and enjoy because there were so many people around.
