"Brings back Memories"
October, 2016
I grew up watching this show every week. My Dad loved it. I am sure Daisy Duke helped a lot. Seeing the car and getting pictures was so great. I show them to everyone up ":North": here. I am a southerner by heart. Lived in Knoxville 2 years. Husband was UT graduate grad school. Followed Peyton and Lady Vols. I really enjoyed the museum. The staff was there Sept.23 doing last minute shopping. Maybe 24th. Loved it a lot.
Tip: Expect to go down memory lane. Young kids will not enjoy it maybe like us oldies. Enjoy!!!

"Our visit to Cooter's."

Loved seeing the things in the museum and getting our pictures taken in the general lee.
Tip: This is not a handicap accessible place. We had tickets to play miniature golf but it involves going up and down stairs which I am not able to do much of. Also stairs to get into the museum and go carts.

We went here because my hubby is a huge fan of the show. The go-cart track was really small. The mini golf was just OK & involved climbing a lot of stairs and had very poor ventilation ( which was really important on a hot day ). There was some memorabilia from the show around the mini golf course. We felt there are better go-carts & mini golf places in the area to spend money

I was actually excited to visit since the Dukes of Hazzard was one of my favorite shows. The go kart track was up stairs and was super tiny. It might have been good for small children but I had pre teens and teens and they were looking for something a little bit more exciting. We got a pic with the General Lee and left.

The store is ALL about the Dukes of Hazzard! You can buy all sorts of memorabilia. There are props from the show, including Daisy's shorts and a General Lee Car. You can sit in the car for $5, but you can not try on shorts! There is a very small go cart track, with chairs for viewing too.

Husband, our two teens and I have been on a five week Roadtrip across the US and as we were staying in Gatlinburg, I just had to drop by Cooters! As a child, back home in England, the Dukes of Hazzard show was always shown at teatime on a Saturday. My childhood memories are of watching it with my Dad and two brothers, shouting for Bo and Luke to catch the baddies and for them not to be stopped by the Sheriff and Boss Hogg! Happy times. So dropping by Cooters was a little self indulgent nostalgia time for me. I loved the pictures and memorabilia. Loved seeing the General Lee. We didn't go-kart or Putt-putt. It was purely to look and pick up some small merchandise! I loved it!

My husband and I had a groupon and played mini golf and enjoyed the go-karts. The unique decor is memorable, but overall, a fairly average indoor putt-putt and go-kart place.
