Visit was not what was expected, but still very nice. The "Gardens" is a small greenhouse type room - I expected it to be much bigger. The 'Tour' was scheduled, so after we waited a few moments we watched a small movie and then proceeded into the museum. This was timed, so after each scene, you move to the next and it takes about 45 mins to get through. Overall it was nice and put things in perspective.

"Amazing Spiritual Journey"
April, 2018
My wife and I visited Christ in the Smokies Museum and Gardens: during our Spring Break Vacation (We both teach school in Georgia). I am a pastor and my wife had visited many years ago. I had never visited and she wanted us to go together. It was an amazing trip all the way around, but the trip to the "Christ in the Smokies" with the pinnacle of our trip. It left me in the garden on my knees praising and glorifying God. I enjoy the journey with each scene depicting the life of Jesus from his birth to his ascension. The characters told the story themselves as if they were able to talk. The artifacts in the exhibits are amazing and tell the story in there unique way. We both left even more dedicated to the service of our Lord and Savior. This is an experience that will definitely impact your life and increase your faith.

Our Family absolutely loved this display and museum. We were so blessed to have had the opportunity to view the exhibits and take some time to remember the real reason for why we are here. God. I recommend that everyone visiting Gatlinburg stop and see Christ in the Smokies.

What a sobering depiction of the life of our Lord Jesus Christ from His birth until He arose. Scene of Jesus hanging in the cross brought actual tears to my eyes. Every Christian should see.

"LIFE LIKE STATUES ... "

We recently visited the Christ Museum upon a recommendation & were very pleased. The statues are so life-like you feel as if you are actually witnessing the life of Jesus as part of the crowd. All scriptures were taken from the Bible. At the end, you walk through a beautiful enclosed garden with branches to sit should you so desire. It was about $25 for 2 of us. Free parking. If you go on a clear sunny day, it is in the town of Gatlinburg, stroll through the many shops, have a bite or eat, a snack ...
