Our Family absolutely loved this display and museum. We were so blessed to have had the opportunity to view the exhibits and take some time to remember the real reason for why we are here. God. I recommend that everyone visiting Gatlinburg stop and see Christ in the Smokies.
Tip: Visit early in the day before or off peak season.

"Hidden treasure"
October, 2015
Three of us traveled to Pigeon Forge area, Went on line prior and found Christ in the Smokies and purchased the tickets to surprise the other two. We loved it. The characters were so realistic, made you feel like you were a part of the scene. Beautiful portrayal of each event. This little hidden treasure is worth the visit, we now tell everyone we know to stop by. Most that has travel there for years did not even realize it was there.
Tip: You can purchase tickets on line and save. Great parking after you visit, you can walk to all the other attraction and park free.

"Visiting Christ in the Smokies"
July, 2015
I visited Christus Gardens in the early 70's with my children and wanted to relive the experience. It was better now than then. With each scene, My wife and I were taken back into time. It was breathtaking. The people in the scenes looked as real as if we were talking with them. It certainly made me glad to call myself Christian after my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My plans are to go back next year for another visit. If you are going to Gatlinburg, stop in. One of the best attractions in town.

Interesting but a little campy. You move from scene to scene and move on after a short narration. The scenes are nicely staged and the costuming is really good. I thought the gardens would be a little better but they were just average. The concave craving of Jesus face in the garden is very interesting. It appears to follow you as you move back and forth. After the garden is a small museum and shop. The coin collection from the time of Jesus and the Bible was extremely informative and interesting.

"Great depiction of Jesus Christ Life/Death"

We really enjoyed this depiction. Would be especially helpful learning tool for those who are not already Christians. My 7 year old was really awe struck by the crucifix scene. I'm glad that my children were able to see the life of Jesus re inacted in this manner. It really brought the whole history to life. They used actual scriptures and brought them into a great visual.
