"Hidden treasure"
Reviewed October, 2015
Three of us traveled to Pigeon Forge area, Went on line prior and found Christ in the Smokies and purchased the tickets to surprise the other two. We loved it. The characters were so realistic, made you feel like you were a part of the scene. Beautiful portrayal of each event. This little hidden treasure is worth the visit, we now tell everyone we know to stop by. Most that has travel there for years did not even realize it was there.
Tip: You can purchase tickets on line and save. Great parking after you visit, you can walk to all the other attraction and park free.

"Visiting Christ in the Smokies"
Reviewed July, 2015
I visited Christus Gardens in the early 70's with my children and wanted to relive the experience. It was better now than then. With each scene, My wife and I were taken back into time. It was breathtaking. The people in the scenes looked as real as if we were talking with them. It certainly made me glad to call myself Christian after my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My plans are to go back next year for another visit. If you are going to Gatlinburg, stop in. One of the best attractions in town.

As Christians, it was refreshing to find a tourist site that both recognized and celebrated our faith. It was a nice break from all the other secular tourist attractions.

I visited (formerly known as) Christus Gardens when I was a little girl and had forgotten the details of the experience. An inspired depiction of the life of Christ in beautifully and meticulously crafted life size vignettes and narrative. Definitely worth a visit!

This attraction is not well publicized but well worth searching for. We saw it from the Gatlinburg Skylift and took it as sign. We were not disappointed. If you love Jesus you will love this attraction.

"29 Dollars to walk through a Wax Museum"

I am a Christian, and so is my wife, and we were excited to spend some time here. I am not going to give this a great review just because it is a Christian themed 'attraction'. The value for the cost in my opinion is below average. IT is a depiction of the life of Christ as displayed by wax figures. You get birth, ministry, death, resurrection, ascension. Granted, some of the scenes are nicely done, especially the ones near the end. There is somewhat of a lack in continuity in the facial features of Jesus from scene to scene. In one he looks Semitic, in another very western. While you look at the scene, a voice-over reads scripture. Honestly, this adds nothing new to your understanding of the Lord, unless you are a brand new believer. I would say this should be priced at perhaps 8 to 10 dollars max to be a good value. There are places where you can get a coupon for 1 or two dollars off. There is a good value in the parking, however. $5 for all day; you can walk up and down the main street to your hearts content. My advice: grab a brochure and look at the pictures. That is what you will see inside. Park for $5 and enjoy your day.
